Chapter 276

Love After Divorce by BELLA

Chapter 276:

Seeing that RK wasn’t moving, Stella grew impatient.

“Hey, RK, what are you doing? Hurry up and bring the food over!” she said with growing dissatisfaction.

“You want me to bring you some food?” RK asked in disbelief, clearly not having caught on.

“Yes, that’s exactly what I said. Bring the food over,” Stella repeated firmly.

“You want me to serve you?” RK’s tone grew more irritated.

“That’s right. I want you to bring the food. Why? Can’t you serve your son?”

“You...” RK started to speak but bit his tongue, clearly not happy with the situation.

“What’s wrong? You don’t want to?” Stella pressed him further.

With no choice, RK begrudgingly grabbed the dishes and placed them in front of Adrian.

“Alright, RK, you’re quite good at serving people,” Stella teased with a satisfied grin.

RK ignored her teasing, lowering his head to eat in silence. Throughout dinner, Stella focused her attention on Adrian, barely acknowledging RK’s presence.

“Hey, Adrian, were you a good boy at the hospital today?” Stella asked with a smile.

“Yes, I was reading books,” Adrian replied eagerly.

“Oh? What books did you read?”

“It’s not Maedline, it’s Madeline,” Stella corrected him gently.

“Oh! It’s Madeline. Got it this time. But the nurse kept smiling at me while I was reading,” Adrian said, his eyes lighting up.

“The nurse was smiling at you?” Stella asked with a laugh.

“Yes, she kept looking at me and laughing!” Adrian responded.

Meanwhile, RK, feeling completely ignored, decided to make his presence known.

“Ahem, ahem!” he cleared his throat loudly, but Stella paid no attention.

“Hey, Tristan came to visit you today, didn’t he? You didn’t make things difficult for him, did you?” she asked Adrian.

“What? I didn’t make things difficult for Uncle Tristan!” RK grew increasingly annoyed. Not only was he being ignored, but they were also talking about Tristan.

“Uncle Tristan is too weak. He doesn’t know how to play games. He’s like a girl. He can’t even be compared to Bad Uncle,”

Adrian said, trying to cheer up RK.

When RK saw that his status had been raised again, his mood improved instantly.

“Hmph, your Bad Uncle is even more inferior. He’s not modest at all. He’s arrogant, narcissistic, and insidious. What’s so great about playing games? Honestly, he’s a jerk,” Stella said, seemingly forgetting that RK was sitting right next to her.

RK, who was within earshot, furrowed his brow. “Hey, Stella, what are you talking about? How am I arrogant, narcissistic, insidious, or a jerk?”

Stella smiled mischievously, knowing she had struck a nerve.

“Alright, RK, put your hand on your chest. I’ll ask you a few questions, and I want you to answer them truthfully,” Stella said, enjoying the playful confrontation.

RK, eager to prove his point, placed his hand on his chest, ready for her questions.

“The first question: Do you think you’re better than Tristan?”

“Of course. No doubt about it,” RK answered arrogantly.

“Second question: Do you think you’re better than Aden?”

“Absolutely,” he replied with confidence.

“Third question: Do you think you’re very handsome?”

“Of course,” RK said, full of self-assurance.

In terms of looks, RK believed if he claimed to be second, no one would dare claim to be first.

“Alright, fourth question: If someone kidnapped you and you escaped, what’s the first thing you’d do when you got home?”

“That’s easy. I’d find the kidnapper, strip him, chase him down with a gun, and if he took one step too slow, I’d make him run naked through the busiest part of the city before shooting him,” RK answered, a satisfied smirk on his face.

Stella shook her head, convinced more than ever. “Very good, RK. Based on your answers, I can officially confirm: you are an arrogant, narcissistic, insidious, and shameless jerk.”

RK’s forehead veins throbbed with frustration. He could barely contain his urge to snap at Stella.

Meanwhile, Adrian watched the scene unfold with great amusement. He laughed so hard that he accidentally choked on his rice.

“Ahem...my...my rice!” Adrian gasped, pointing at his throat in distress.

Stella and RK immediately forgot their argument and rushed to Adrian’s aid. They patted his back and gave him water, helping him through the coughing fit. After a tense moment, Adrian finally managed to spit out the rice and breathe normally again.
