Tristan stayed for a while and then left. He did not forget about Alice, who was alone at home.

Two minutes after Tristan left, RK arrived.

The first thing that came to Stella’s mind when she saw RK was whether he had met Tristan.

RK raised an eyebrow and looked at Stella. He could tell what Stella was thinking, but he didn’t confront her and went to the kitchen to cook.

“You’re back so soon. I thought you would come back at least after having a meal,” Alice said, looking at Tristan, who was in front of her.

“Of course. I have to come back early, or how can you eat?” When Tristan entered the house, he had already removed the sadness from his eyes. He didn’t want others to see his weak side.

Alice just smiled and did not speak.

At the dining table, Adrian remembered Kaylee, who had kidnapped him. To be honest, he had never forgotten her. He guessed that Stella and RK went out to avenge him that day, but he wanted to know what would happen to that hateful woman.

“What will happen to her?”

Looking at Adrian’s expectant eyes, RK wanted to laugh but held back his amusement. “Very miserable!”

RK told Adrian what had happened to Kaylee in just two words.

However, it was obvious that Adrian was not satisfied with the answer. He wanted to continue asking, but Stella stuffed food directly into his mouth to silence him.

Just then, the words were so slow that Stella immediately guessed what Adrian had asked. Thinking of the situation that day, Stella decided not to let Adrian know.

Looking at Adrian’s face, which looked like he was about to be beaten up, RK smiled.

“RK, how did Kaylee offend you? You’re so vicious, and she’s still your fiancée.” The voice came from the other end of the line. It was Kaylee’s father, also the mayor. RK frowned as he listened to the mayor’s words.

“Mayor Cooper, ever since I left the wedding, it means that Kaylee isn’t my fiancée.” RK paused for a moment before continuing.

“When she kidnapped my son, she should have thought about what would happen to her today.” RK hung up the phone after finishing his statement. He didn’t want to listen to his nonsense anymore. RK was furious at the thought of how he had found Adrian that day.

Kaylee should be glad that he didn’t kill her and saved her life. Mr. Cooper was about to speak when RK hung up the phone. He was so angry that he threw his phone away.

RK thought of the three people locked up by Ruben and felt that he should have dealt with them.

Although the three of them didn’t hurt Adrian and just did business with money, RK couldn’t keep them.

After Stella fell asleep, Adrian sneaked into RK’s room. He still wanted to know how Kaylee was doing.

Adrian quietly opened the door and found that RK was not asleep yet. He didn’t know what he was busy with.

When RK saw Adrian coming in, he waved to him and asked him to come closer.

He knew that Adrian would certainly come to his room tonight, so he stayed awake and waited for him.

“Dad, can you tell me?”

Adrian sat next to RK and looked at him pitifully.

RK looked at Adrian. If anyone didn’t know what was going on, they would think that he was bullying him.

“Your mother doesn’t want you to know, so I can’t tell you.” RK pinched Adrian’s nose and looked at his wrinkled face.

Adrian didn’t say anything. As soon as he mentioned Stella, Adrian didn’t know what to say.

Adrian suddenly thought of those three people. He felt that RK would not let them go.

“Can you tell me how the three men are doing?”

Adrian thought of the strange man. He always felt that he had a secret, which was the reason why he was cold.

RK didn’t expect Adrian to mention those three men. “They have been locked up by your uncle for the time being. I haven’t had time to get even with them yet.”

When it came to settling accounts, RK had a fierce look on his face.

“Can you take me there?”

Adrian looked at RK with expectation.

RK had no choice but to nod. It seemed that he couldn’t hit them too hard at that time; otherwise, he would scare Adrian. When Adrian heard that RK had promised him, he was so happy that he wrapped his arms around RK’s neck and kissed him on the face.

RK looked at Adrian and touched his head helplessly. Adrian happily went back to Stella’s bedroom and fell asleep with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, RK wasn’t asleep yet. The dim light couldn’t make anyone see RK’s face, but they could see the lit cigarette in his hand.
