Chapter 643

Love After Divorce by BELLA

Chapter 643:

“I am sorry to have caused you so much trouble,” Alicia said, looking at the four people sitting on the sofa.

“It’s okay. Stay here for dinner before you go back,” Stella smiled at Alicia, reassuring her not to be afraid. She had already informed Ruben and RK about Alicia’s arrival, so they didn’t say anything.

Alicia nodded and said nothing, lowering her head and holding a glass of water in her hand while sitting quietly.

“I’m going to cook,” RK said as he stood up and lifted Ruben. Since he knew Ruben could cook, he decided to let him help.

“Go ahead. Why are you pulling me?” Ruben glared at RK and protested. He only knew how to cook porridge! RK looked at Ruben, and he immediately shut his mouth.

Emily sat there, unsure of what to say. Taking the initiative, she went to the kitchen to help, leaving Stella alone in the living room with Alicia.

The doorbell rang, and Stella thought it was Adrian and Seventeen returning, so she got up and opened the door.

“Darling!”

As soon as Adrian saw Stella, he pounced on her. Stella knew he had been exhausted for two days.

Stella walked into the house with Adrian in her arms, and Seventeen followed them inside.

“Alas, there’s a beautiful aunt!”

As soon as Adrian entered the living room, he spotted Alicia and exclaimed.

Upon hearing Adrian’s voice, Alicia raised her head. But the first person she noticed wasn’t Adrian; it was Seventeen walking behind them.

Alicia’s hand trembled slightly.

The sudden noise caught RK’s and Emily’s attention as they rushed out of the kitchen. “What’s wrong?”

Emily looked at Stella and asked, wanting to know what had happened.

Stella shook her head, glancing at Alicia. She had no idea what was going on either. Suddenly, Alicia’s tears began to fall.

Stella followed Alicia’s gaze and looked at Seventeen. Could it be that Alicia and Seventeen knew each other?

Seventeen watched Alicia’s tears, feeling an inexplicable ache in his heart. It felt as if someone was gripping him, and the air became thin, making it hard for him to breathe.

Alicia stood up and walked toward Seventeen. Stella and RK remained still, while Adrian grew quiet in Stella’s arms, sensing the sadness around him.

“Seventeen, are you Seventeen?”

Alicia raised her hand and gently stroked Seventeen’s face, as if afraid he would vanish.

“Yes, my name is Seventeen.” It was the first time Seventeen had answered a stranger. He didn’t know why, but he felt compelled to respond.

“Seventeen, where have you been? Why couldn’t I find you?” Looking into Seventeen’s eyes, Alicia wanted to know why he had disappeared.

“Uncle Seventeen has lost his memory,” Adrian chimed in, speaking for Seventeen.

“Seventeen, it doesn’t matter. Even if you forget the past, I won’t forget you. As long as you’re here, that’s what matters.” Alicia caressed Seventeen’s face, her heart filled with warmth. As long as they were alive and well, other things didn’t matter.

Seventeen felt a sense of familiarity with the woman in front of him, but he couldn’t remember anything. However, he didn’t dislike her touch; in fact, he didn’t mind when Adrian touched him either, while he would instinctively pull away from others.

“Mr. Seventeen, come out for me,” a loud voice interrupted the moment.

“Is that annoying woman crazy? She comes to make trouble at this hour!” Adrian said, asking Stella to let him down. He opened the door, confronting Alice.

“Crazy woman! Can you be quiet? I’ve already said that Uncle Seventeen has moved out!” Adrian shouted without hesitation.

Initially, he had tried to give Tristan some face, but now he didn’t feel the need to hold back.

“Adrian!” Tristan called out, knowing Alice was disturbing his family, but he couldn’t scold her. He didn’t want Adrian to hate him even more.

“Uncle Tristan, Little Rian doesn’t hate you; she’s just too noisy. Every time we want to have a meal, she shows up to cause trouble. I wonder if she wants a free meal.” Adrian saw something hidden in Tristan’s eyes and realized he didn’t actually hate him; he was just stating the truth.

Hearing the commotion outside, Stella thought for a moment and decided to step out.

Seeing that there was nothing more to do, RK pulled Ruben back to the kitchen. Emily followed them, feeling they should give Seventeen and Alicia some private space.

“Brother Tristan, Seventeen has moved away. There’s a patient in my family right now, and Alice has been disturbing her.” Stella looked at Tristan and said. She didn’t mention who the patient was, thinking Tristan didn’t need to know. On the contrary, if he did know, Alice would also find out, and it would become a big issue.

“Sorry, I will take Alice away,” Tristan replied.
