Chapter 655
Love After Divorce by BELLA
Chapter 655:
âMother, did you cook all of this?â Ruben looked at the dishes on the table in disbelief and asked.
âUh-huh, of course.â She had suddenly become very interested in cooking some time ago, so she went to learn how to cook. She didnât expect that she would become addicted to it.
âYes, it doesnât look bad. I wonder how it tastes.â Ruben looked as if he wasnât optimistic as he glanced at the dishes in front of him.
Mrs. Kingstonâs bright face immediately fell. âIt wonât kill you!â Mrs. Kingston picked up a mouthful of food and ate it.
Ruben touched his nose and took a bite of the food. It was very good. He raised his eyebrows and looked at RK, who acted as if he hadnât seen it and picked up some food for Stella.
Stella, Emily, and Adrian didnât expect that it would be so easy to eat at the Kingston family home. They thought it would be the kind of place where no one could talk, and the younger generation could only eat when the elders moved their spoons. But now it seemed that their family didnât have such a tradition at all.
After eating, they could quarrel with each other.
Mr. Kingston seemed used to it. He ate his food and ignored everything else on the table.
To be honest, the Kingston family wasnât like this in the past, but it had changed since he married her.
âItâs so boring to eat without saying anything!â she said. The originally delicious dishes would become bland because of this atmosphere! She insisted that if a family were to sit and eat together, they should talk and laugh. If they sat there quietly and ate, would they still look like a family?
After that, there were no more rules. Especially after having Ruben, the family became even livelier. The child couldnât stay idle and had to find something to do every day. He even had to find something to eat.
Later, with RKâs help, Mr. Kingston finally felt that someone could integrate into the family business, so he raised RK since he was a child. RK didnât resist and would learn whatever he was told to learn. He was very obedient.
After dinner, they didnât plan to go back to sleep. After sleeping for so long in the afternoon, they had enough rest. The family sat on the sofa in the living room and began to chat.
âRK, do you want to give Little Rian another name? I can take it as a nickname.â Mrs. Kingston held Adrian in her arms and said.
Remembering what Mr. Kingston had said to her, she was too embarrassed to mention it, so she could only say it to RK.
Step into fiction with gαâηÏνíâs.í¸oíº RK and Stella had never thought about this before, so when Mrs. Kingston mentioned it, they were a little confused.
RK looked at Stella. He didnât have the right to ask Stella to change Adrianâs name; after all, he hadnât taken care of Adrian since he was a child. He didnât even know about Adrianâs birth, so he listened to Stella.
Stella knew what RK was thinking, but since she had accepted him, she felt that it was time for him to change Adrianâs name or surname. She pinched RKâs palm, wanting to convey her thoughts to him.
RK felt Stella pinch his palm. He looked at Stella with a smile. âWhat right does he have to make Stella forgive me again?â
âRK, give Adrian a name.â
RK looked at Mr. Kingston and said, âHe is your son. Why donât you give him a name yourself?â Mr. Kingston looked at him, as if he didnât want to give him a name.
To be honest, he knew what had happened between Stella and RK in the past few years. RK had missed his sonâs growth, so he had to make up for it slowly, and he wanted him to start by changing his name.
âRyan Kingston, how about Ryan?â RK looked at Stella, wanting to know if it was all right. After all, it was his first time giving a name.
âRyan, Ryan Kingston, thatâs good. Itâs great!â
âI agree. Do you like it, Little Rian?â Stella looked at Adrian, who was in Mrs. Kingstonâs arms, and asked.
The name âAdrianâ was given to her just like that. She didnât think too much at that time. Perhaps she subconsciously wanted RK to help give him a name.
âI like it.â Adrian looked at Stella with a smile and replied. He thought that if people called him âLittle Rianâ when he grew up, he would be very depressed. He liked âRyan Kingston.â It was a good name.
âWell, itâs getting late. Go to bed early. Letâs go shopping tomorrow.â Mrs. Kingston rubbed Adrianâs hair and said.
RK nodded and led Stella and Adrian upstairs to rest. Ruben had just wanted to take Emily back to rest, but Mr. Kingston stopped him.
Ruben and Mr. Kingston went to the study.
Emily lay on the bed, tossing and turning, but she couldnât fall asleep. She was afraid that Mr. Kingston wouldnât like her family.
After all, big families paid attention to matching families.
Emily didnât lock the door. She was waiting for Ruben to come. About an hour later, Ruben came over, and Emily immediately sat up.
âEmily, why havenât you slept yet? Did you not sleep because I wasnât here to hug you?â Ruben walked into Emilyâs room in a red gown as he said.
Emily looked at Rubenâs clothes and wanted to complain. It wasnât a big deal to wear red clothes, but he still had to wear a red night robe. If she hadnât known that it was Ruben who came in, she would have thought that a male ghost had come looking for her.
Ruben lay on the bed and held Emily in his arms. âWhat did Uncle say to you?â Emily couldnât help asking after struggling for a long time.
