A/N ITS MY 16TH BIRTHDAY ON TUESDAY.

Chapter 33

Rebeccas P.O.V

I'd just finished curling the last strand of hair when someone knocked on the door. It was Calum. I was so grateful he was going to look after the kids allowing me to go out and celebrate my birthday. It was really generous of him to offer.

''I'll get it.'' Logan , I grabbed my dress pulling it on then used a can of hair spray to tighten and hold the curls.

Calums P.O.V

I got out of the car , bag and flowers in hand. I went though the lobby , up the stairs making my way to our... her apartment;It felt strange coming here still. I knocked on the door and waited patiently. I held the flowers out but to my surprise Logan answered it.

''For me you shouldn't have.'' he joked , I gave him a forced smile and walked forward to be let in but was pushed back slightly.

''Move.'' I said. Logan looked up and down at me then a small laugh escaped his lips.

''What?'' I spat , easily angered by the guy.

''Nothing you're just a bit overly dressed for baby sitting? - , '' Babysitting what?...

''-Oh... Oh god please don't - , You thought-... '' he erupted into laughter. Of course I wasnt invited to this thing im so stupid. Maybe I can turn around and leave quickly.

''What are you guys laughing at?'' Rebecca smiled walking around the corner. She looked beautiful her hair was curled , she was wearing a black dress. Considering she had a baby not to long ago she looked in perfect shape.

''Hello? Anyone in there.'' she laughed clicking in front of my face.

''Sorry.'' I laughed handing her the gift bag and flowers.

''Oh you shouldn't have Calum.'' she gushed. ''-You look nice...'' she trailed off

''He -'' I jumped in before Logan could embarrass me futhur.

''I just came back from dinner with Pia.''

''Oh... How is she ?''

''Fine.''

''Great. Im just going to put these in some water. Logan can you grab my coat then we'll be off if thats okay with you Calum.'' She said. I gave her a nod and walked into the apartment. Why did I even say that? I didnt even go to dinner with Pia , I haven't seen her for five weeks.

I followed the cries of babies as I walked into Rebeccas room. I picked up Rosalie and smiled as she instantly stopped her cries and wrapped her small angelic hand around my pink finger. I looked around placing her back down next to her brother. I turned picking up one of the bras that was on the floor , Rebecca walked in her eyes shooting to mine. She blushed heavily and snatched it off of me.

''Sorry I was just going to clean up a bit.'' I chuckled

''Who are you and what have to done with Calum?'' She joked poking her tongue out.

''I should be back before midnight if thats okay? You know where everything is right? Umm call me if you need me I mean it if anything goes wrong call me.''

''Becky?''

''Yeah?... Oh and if you get tired you can just crash here on the sofa and-''

''Shut up.'' I laughed at how nervous she was living the kids for this long.

''Sorry. I'd better go. Thanks again for this I appreciate it.'' She smiled grabbing her purse from the end of the bed. Placing two kisses on each of the kids heads then walking out the door.

Rebeccas P.O.V

I walked into the club scanning my surroundings. I spotted the usual gang and made my way towards them. It felt kind of awkward being here with everyone and not Calum.

Maybe I should of invited him? I shook my head ignoring the thoughts in my head. I hugged Ana , Sophia and Emily letting out a smile and giving out thank yous when I received the gifts. I made small talk with them , I looked around the room and saw Logan with the guys , they looked a bit awkward. So i decided to walk over and join the conversation. Ashton arrived later with Sasha , I hugged them both and ordered some more drinks.

''So get anything nice for your birthday?'' Ana asked taking a sip of her drink.

''Calum got me these gorgeous flowers and a bracelet...'' I realised what I had said obviously forgetting. Logan shifted slightly next to me moving his hand from my back to my hip giving it a small squeeze.

''... and Logan got me these gorgeous earrings.'' I said gesturing to the diamond studs that were in my ears. I smiled trying to brush off my small mistake hoping it wasn't that noticeable , of course it was.

''So where is Calum tonight? Thought he was going to meet us here.'' Michael yelled over the music.

''What?'' I asked placing my glass of red wine down.

''Calum said he was going to drop off your presents then he'll meet us here.'' Luke answered for him. I bit my lip , oh god.

''He didn't say? He's baby sitting for me tonight!''

''What? Thats news to us he defiantly said he was coming here tonight.'' Luke laughed, shrugging his shoulders.

''Oh god i've made a terrible mistake.'' I said biting my lip.

''Why didnt he say anything? When I asked why he was dressed up he said he'd been for dinner with Pia?'' I said

''Pia? He hasnt seen Pia in like five weeks or so. pretty sure they broke up and she went back to LA.'' Michael said , ''-Maybe he was embarrassed.''

'' I feel so bad now , Oh my god.''

''Come on Becky , don't get upset its your birthday.'' Logan reminded me placing his finger under my chin and leaving me a kiss on the lips.

''You're right I'll have to just speak to him later.'' I sighed.

''Exactly. Now lets go dance yeah? No more talk about him.'' he said taking my hand and pulling me to the dance floor.

After many drinks later its 1 in the morning and we make our way back to the apartment with the help of a taxi. I'm a bit tipsy so Logan has to help me up the stairs while I sing happy birthday to myself extremely loud.

''Shh Becky you'll wake everyone up.'' He laughed

''Oh right.'' I laughed. I went towards my door and Logan dragged my hand towards his gently .

''Come on sober up first then you can go back.''

''Thats probably best isnt it?'' I nodded walking in and dumping myself on the sofa. I took two aspirin and drunk a whole glass of water. Logan turned on the tv and we watched a tiny bit of whatever was on.

''I have to go back now. Its already half one I told Calum i'd be back by midnight.''

''Aw come on Rebecca its your birthday. Im sure hes asleep right now.''

''I know but he might want to go and I have to talk -''

''Relax. Sit down. I have another present for you.'' he smiled patting the sofa.

I sighed , sitting back down and watched as he disappeared into his room. When he returned he had a small box , I opened it to reveal another small box and another and another. It made me laugh and whine , Logan just chuckled and watched with enjoyment. I finally got to the last box and opened it expecting another pair of earrings or something. But to my surprise it was a ring.

''I...-''

''Becky , Will you please do me the honour of marrying me?'' he smiled. There was a long pause of silence. I didn't know what to do. I haven't even started with my divorce to Calum yet let alone think about wedding number two. I thought we were taking this slow , I cant accept this I just cant!

''I... I can't accept this Logan!.'' I laughed , I was becoming hysterical now. Lets just say that sobered me right up.

''What? Why?''

''Im still technically married to Calum.'' there was a long pause of silence Logan got up and walked towards the window hands gripping onto the side before he turned around.

''CALUM THIS , CALUM THAT. WAKE UP REBECCA HE DON'T WANT YOU NO MORE.!'' He yelled.

''What? Logan calm down I just this is too much this is going to fast for me.'' I say running a hand through my hair and standing up. " - I better go.''

''Yeah you better. Calum is waiting for you.''

''Oh very mature Logan.''

''Oh you're just fooled with him and his apologies. He'll just cheat on you again Rebecca you know he will. He's pathetic and so are you for believing his his bullshit. ''

''Logan stop it will you!''

''What?! I'm sorry Rebecca im speaking the fucking truth here.''

''Logan. Listen. Im sorry okay. Im sorry I haven't spent that much time with you and I'm sorry I keep talking about Calum. I like you im with you for crying out loud you know that.'' I say placing my palms on his cheeks. He let out a deep breath closing his eyes tightly.

''I'm sorry. Just please can we just forget about him. I dont see why you have to even see him.'' I remove my hands from his face and stare at him.

'' - What?'' he asks

''Are you being serious? He's the father to my children Logan that is why.''

''He's a shit father anyway.''

''No he isn't. He's many things but a bad father is something he is not! He made mistakes and hes trying to make up for them.''

''HERE WE GO AGAIN. YOU'RE SIDING HIM OVER ME AGAIN.''

''Stop being so childish.''

''Im not its the truth. You're forever on his side for everything.''

'' Look I'm going to go you're really pissing me off.'' I say turning around and walking towards the door. Logan grabs my wrist turning my back around , his grip is tighter then usual.

''Please don't go. Im sorry im just drunk. Forgive me?''

''I'll talk to you in the morning Logan.'' I say trying to pry my arm away from him.

''No.'' he says his grip tightening further.

''Logan stop you're hurting me.''

'' - LOGAN STOP! GET OFF!'' I yell as he starts leaving sloppy kisses on my neck in which I do not want.

'' - I'm Serious Logan fucking stop!.'' I say kicking his shin. He lets out a groan and bends down to reach his leg. I run towards the door to get pulled back and pushed on the floor.

''See what you made me fucking do.'' he yelled.

This was a new side of Logan I have never seen before one that frightened me. One that I wanted to be away from now.

''Stop please.'' I cried out. He pulled me back up by my elbow and pushed me against the wall.

''Why do you have to be like this? Why do you still fucking love him.'' He yelled in my face

''I don't . I love you Logan please.'' At this point I was willing to telll him anything he wanted to hear.

''LIAR!..'' He yelled throwing me to the floor again.

''STOP CRYING!'' He said a boot came in contact with my lower stomach making me groan and cry out.

''C-...''

''GO ON CALL HIS NAME, HE ISN'T GOING TO FUCKING HEAR YOU.'' He said another kick punch , grab , throw , push , pull.

I was weak so weak , I had come into terms that this would be the way I was going to die. I was going to die like this. But I knew I couldn't let that happen my kids flashed in my head and I used every ounce of my energy to lift myself up , he had gone into the kitchen living me laying in a ball on the floor. I got up making my way slowly to the door letting out another cry as the locks were on and my hands shook as I tried to fiddle with the locks.

Once I finally got the lock undone I heard him coming closer and yelling 'STOP.' I made a run for it. It hurt so much but I knew I had to get away.

I slammed the door shut in his face hearing him curse and I banged on the door to my house hoping ,praying , pleading , wishing that Calum could hear it. My voice was cracked from all the yelling , screaming and crying, I was slowly given up I heard him making his way out of his door behind me and I let out a final scream.

''CALUM HELP PLEASE!.'' Like that the door swung open,

''Whats all this noise I have two kids slee-'' Calums eyes flashed down to mine in shock and fear as he took my arm making me wince in pain and pushed behind his tall frame.

He glared at Logan who had finally managed to get out. ''Did he do this?'' He whispered , I let out a small nod. He was about to lunge forward towards him but I just grabbed his arm crying.

''Please not now.'' I cried out , He looked down at me I probably looked pathetic.

''This isn't fucking over.'' He spat out and slammed the door shut. I slid down the wall letting my tears fall from my face. Calum slid down with me taking me into his arms kissing my head softly and began whispering soothing words.

''Its okay. Shh you're safe now. Im here. Hes not going to hurt you okay?'' He whispered.

Calum P.O.V

I woke up startled by the screaming and banging outside the door. I got up rubbing my eyes and making my way to the door. I opened it up squinting at the hallway light hitting my eyes ,

''Whats all this noise I have two kids slee-'' I stopped dead in my tracks as I looked down staring at Becky. Her eyes were cracked and glossy , she was bleeding on her head.

Her lip was busted and I could see bruises forming on her arms. I took her arm making her wince in pain and pushed her behind me gently. I looked up and saw Logan standing outside the apartment his eyes full of anger. I put two and two together and wooosh I was ready to kill him.

''Did he do this?'' I whispered , She nodded silently. I moved forward but Becky soft cold hand touched my arm I turned around and she shook her head.

''Please not now.'' she cried. I couldn't take it as much as I wanted to kill him right now she needed me more.

''This isn't over.'' I spat at him closing the door. I slid down and held the small , fragile , broken girl in my arms kissing her head and stroking her hair.

''Don't leave me please.'' she cried

''I wont. I promise. Im never going to leave you again.'' I whisper back. I hold her close to me letting her tears soak my t-shirt. As we sit quietly in the dark hallway in silence with just the sound of her painful tears.

TADA. Long chapter. What did you guys think honestly tell me?

Sorry for update delay. Not going to make up excuses but i've been planning this chapter all week :)

I will be updating less soon because of exams :( But i'm going to try finish the story off asap.

We're VERY close to the end :(

But hey you guys its not the end for (insert becky and calums ship name). Because they will feature in the spin off Amnesia
