Chapter 35

Rebecca P.O.V

After kissing Calum and falling back to sleep about half an hour later there was a large bang at the door that made me jump causing my eyes to shoot open. Rosalie or James , maybe both of them were crying from the noise so I slowly got out of bed and walked to their room to make sure they were okay. A small hug and a kiss on the head was enough to make them fall back to sleep , the noise came again.

''Rebecca?'' Calum called.

I made my way out of the hallway looking at Calum whos hair was messy , his eyes were squinted and he raised a hand to rub the sleep away from his eyes. I must admit I really have missed sleepy Calum... 'SHUT UP REBECCA!' I thought to myself.

''I'll get the door go to bed okay?'' he said , I nodded my head but stood just at the doorway of the bedroom to make sure everything was okay. Calum opened the door and a flashlight was held , it was the police.

''Is everything okay? I'm Rebecca I own the flat'' I squeaked from behind Calum. The police mans eyes scanned my face then spoke into his radio giving a all clear or something.

''We got a call from your neighbour saying he believes a domestic abuse had occurred.'' he said. I looked at Calum wondering if it was him who had called.

''Who called may I ask?'' I said quietly.

''A young male from next door. Logan? I should imagine you know him.'' the officer replied. I nodded slowly confused with why Logan would call the police on himself.

''Are you the only two people in this house tonight?''

''Yes.'' Calum answered. ''And sir who may you be in relation to Miss Rebecca.'' he asked Calum.

''I am her husband...boyfriend... ex-boyfriend. We're um getting a divorce.'' he got his words mixed up but I wondered why he didnt just call me his friend unless maybe he does want to get a divorce now.Then why did he kiss you? my mind asked.

''Can I get your full name sir?'' he asked

''Calum Thomas Hood.''

''Calum Thomas Hood. I am arresting you on the accusation of domestic abuse you do not have to say anything. But anything you say now will be taken and held in court.'' the man said. Calums eyes widened as did mine.

''What the fuck?! He didnt do anything.'' I yelled

''Look Miss we're just doing our jobs. Other neighbours have reported they heard screaming and crying'. A female officer said

''But he hasn't done anything! It was Logan. Logans the one who did this to me!'' I cried

''CALUM!.''

''Rebecca just leave it i'll be out by the morning okay?''

''No please don't leave me you promised you wouldn't.'

''I know just get inside and lock the doors please.'' He said as the officer pushed him out.

Calum lunged forward upon seeing Logan jumping on top of him and sending a fist to his cheek before four or five other officers ran up the stairs grabbing Calum and cuffing him. Logan looked up at me with a bloody lip giving me a smile that made Calum yell and try to push himself away from the officers.

''JUST GO INSIDE REBECCA!'' He yelled finally. Not giving it another thought I slammed the door shut and locked the door. I picked up the phone and dialed Ashtons number as fast as I could and explained everything to him.

''Thanks for letting us stay here Ash.'' I said walking into the living room after putting the kids to sleep in Ashtons spair room.

''Its fine. I can't believe all that has happened.'' he said patting the sofa as I sat down and joined him on it.

''I know.'' I sighed. So much has happened tonight and I cant get my head around it all.

''Should I be at the station? I cant just let him be stuck there.'' I frantically said standing up running a hand through my hair.

''Rebecca lay down. Get some sleep. I'll call the station and I'm pretty sure our publicists is already doing it. But I will call and see what is going on and drive us there in the morning.''

''Thanks. I love you Ashton.''

''Love you too sis.'' he said standing up and throwing a blanket over me.

The next morning Ashton dropped the kids off at our mums then he drove me to the station. Calum was kept it custody last night but they said he would be released on bail since they didnt have any signific evidence. I had to give a written and spoken statement about Logan and they said they would handle it.

''Calum!.'' I gasped walking into his arms as he wrapped his around mine leaving a soft kiss on my head.

''I told you to stay at home...'' he said

''I stayed at Ashtons the rest of last night.''

''Oh.'' he said looking towards Ashton who came over with a cup of water.

''Hi.'' he said

''Hey.'' Calum replied there was still some tension between them.

''Is it Hi or Hey?'' I joked trying to soften the tension and they both laughed shaking their heads.

''Shall we get lunch together maybe?'' I asked looking out the window of the car. It was a nice day and since my mum had the kids it would be nice to spend some time with both Ashton and Calum.

''Um I'm meeting Sasha today. But another day would be good.'' Ashton said

''Wait what?'' I exclaimed this was news to me

''We're trying to work things out.'' he said

''Im happy for you man. You know since shes visiting and all.'' Calum said

''Thanks. I'll drop you off at yours Becky?''

''Um.''

''We can go to the house.'' Calum said referring to the house we were meant to live together in but I bailed.

''Okay.'' I replied.

Upon arriving to the house I noticed a all too familiar face in which I didnt want to see. I could smell the cheap perfume from here. Ashton pulled up slowly taking a look at my reaction to Pia Mia standing outside of his front door.

''For fuck sake.'' Calum groaned getting out of the door and walking over to her. They talked for a bit and I was unsure if I wanted to get out or stay in.

''Ashton can you just drive.''

''What?''

''Please just drive . Take me to Mums or Anas or Sophias just go !' I said. How could I be stupid enough to think things could go back so easy between me and Calum.

Calums P.O.V

I offered for Ashton to drop me and Rebecca off at the house thinking it would be no problem but it seems I was wrong as we approached the house I saw the familiar red Ferrari parked outside. The tanned fake blonde stood in the most shortest dress ive ever seen perhaps it was a top who knows. I could sense Rebecca was uncomfortable the way her and Ash exchanged looks.

''For fuck sake.'' I cursed getting out the car and charging over to her.

''Cal hey baby!.'' she leaned in to kiss me but I stepped backwards causing her smile to fall.

''What the fuck Pia. I told you its over.''

''Its not over until I say so!'' she said under her breath.

''Look Pia. I told you this was all a mistake I fucked up okay. I was in a bad place so please just fucking leave. Im trying to get my shit together and you're not helping.''

''Oh its her again isnt it.'' she gestured over to the car

''So what if it is...It is none of your business anymore Pia.''

''I honestly don't know what you see in that fat ugly hitch.''

''Will you just fuck off. She has real beauty unlike you. You're a cheap one night stand now get the fuck off my property.''

''FUCK YOU CALUM I WILL RUIN YOU!'' She yelled walking over to her car.

Just as i turned around Ashtons car sped off out of the estate. ''REBECCA!'' I yelled running a hand through my hair and pulling on it.

''FUCK.'' I cursed walking inside the house to grab my keys and follow her.
