Camille
Drunk Camille had a lot to say to Josiah that night, and sadly I remember everything. From flirting with Logan to Josiah leaving me to cry on the bathroom floor.
It had been a couple weeks since then and I had been in a pretty sucky mood since. I didn't want to talk to the girls about it yet and they understood, I was just embarrassed at the fact that I was the one who caught feelings. I mean he did say something about wanting me to be his but that doesn't necessarily mean he's into me. It doesn't matter now anyway and I vow now to forget about him.
"Camille I'm heading to Walmart you wanna come?" Rosa asks as she walks into the living room. "No thanks I'm fine here."
"You sure? You haven't been out in a while." I nod, "I go to work everyday I'm fine." She shrugs, "Alright."
I lay on the couch once I hear the front door shut and scroll through my Instagram feed. I watch random short videos for what feels like an hour until Tyler's face pops up on my screen. "Hello?" I ask answering the call.
"Hey Cam, I was wondering how you were doing?" I shrug, "I'm fine I guess, how are you?"
"I'm doing pretty well, I was wondering if you wanted to hang out today?" I bite my lip while thinking, should I? I do need something to distract me, but hanging out with Tyler? "Where did you want to hang out?" I ask.
"There's this go kart place I've been wanting to try out, what do you say?"
I chuckle, "Um I don't think it'd be safe for me to ride a go kart with one hand."
"What do you- oh yeah I completely forgot about the cast. I'm sorry." I shrug, "It's okay."
"We could just go out to the pier? Grab a snack?"
"Alright, what time?"
"I'll pick you up at 3." I smile, "See you then."
We hang up and let out a sigh before looking at the time, 1:30 pm. I still had much time to spare so I plugged my phone in to charge and pulled out my laptop. I was on Yahoo!'s gossip section going through articles when I got tempted to type in a certain someone's name. I quickly erased it after typing it and scolded myself.
Now I will for sure try my best to forget about him. I get up and get dressed for my afternoon with Tyler. I change into a simple t-shirt and jeans before plopping myself back onto the couch and waiting.
I look at the time 2:15, and I sigh. Suddenly my phone rings and I pick it up to answer. "Hello?"
"You don't have my number saved or something?" The voice chuckles. I smile, "Hey Eli."
"Hey baby sis, how's it going? You never call anymore." I sigh, "I know things have just been so hectic lately, I'll work on keeping in touch."
He laughs, "You better, but hey I called to tell you I'm coming to town soon."
"What? Really? When?" I ask. "In three weeks for a business conference." I smile widely, "That's great! Where will you be staying? You could stay at our place."
He chuckles, "Slow your roll sis, they've booked me a hotel nearby. And sharing a bathroom with 3 other girls doesn't sound very fun." I nod, "You're right, it does get pretty hectic over here."
"I'm sure. I'll be at your place most of the time though, and maybe you can take my sight seeing." I chuckle, "Sure thing Eli."
"I've got to go now, but I can't wait to see you. I'll call you soon."
"Okay bye, love you."
"Love you too Cam."
The front door shuts as I hang up the phone and Rosa walks in with a smirk, "Who was that?"
I roll my eyes at her, "It's not what you think it was just Elijah. He's coming to New Jersey in a few weeks." She smirks again, "Oh really? Good thing I bought that new sexy lingerie set."
"Rosa he's not even staying here, and stop trying to seduce my brother." She chuckles, "I'm just kidding, where's he staying?"
"A hotel nearby."
She nods, "Nice." She looks down at my dressing, "Where are you going?"
"Tyler invited me out." She quirks an eyebrow, "You're hanging out with Tyler?"
I nod, "I know it seems kind of weird, but he invited me out."
"Alright, but just be careful."
"What do you mean?"
"Nothing really, it just seems weird."
"Why does everyone find it so weird that Tyler still wants to be friends?" I ask with a groan. "Um because Camille, you cheated on him. So it kind of makes me wonder why he still wants to be so close with you, it just doesn't add up. Maybe he's loco."
I frown, "Or maybe he just really likes me?" I pick up my phone and purse. "God, you're just like Josiah." I mumble before walking out.
I look at my phone for the time, 2:45. I sigh before heading down the street to the store. I just looked around and texted Tyler about where to pick me up. He showed up soon after, "Hey."
I smile at him, "Hi."
"So what're you doing here? Why aren't you at the house?"
I shrug, "Just needed some air." He nods before driving us toward the pier.
-
We had lots of fun at the pier, we bought delicious snacks, watched performances, and saw animals. He even won me a stuffed animal.
It was getting late and the sea water was making the place cold, causing me to shiver. "You cold?" He asks before taking off his jacket and wrapping it around me. "Thanks." He nods as we keep walking down.
"It's a beautiful night." He says as we approach the end of the pier. I nod, "Yeah, thanks for inviting me out by the way."
He nods, "Thanks for coming." I looked around the place, "This was my first time here."
"Really? How is that even possible?" I shrug, "I've just never come here, it's really pretty."
I look around at my surrounds again, admiring everything, when I notice a familiar face. I freeze when I see him but he soon disappears after that. "Lancing." I whisper. "What?"
I begin shaking in fear, "Tyler we have to go." I say quietly. "Wait why?"
Tears begin to form in my eyes, "Please take me home." He looks worried, "Camille do you trust me?"
"What? Yes I trust you but-" He cuts me off and brings his lips to mine, I feel a slight pinch in my neck and suddenly my body goes numb and my vision fades into darkness.
-
"Good job kid." I hear a voice say. "Yeah, yeah, where's my money?" A familiar voice asks.
I hear some paper being handed to the other person, "Here." I decide to keep my eyes closed, afraid of what I may see.
"Shouldn't this stuff have worn off by now? She should be awake."
"She'll wake up soon enough, then we can get this party started." The other voice says with a sick chuckle. "She's a really cute girl, it's a shame I have to kill her."
I open my eyes slightly, just to see who the hell is talking. Tyler and Lancing are sitting at a table, Tyler is counting a bunch of cash and Lancing is scrolling through my phone. "Looks like she's awake." Tyler says as he glances at me.
Lancing looks up with a twisted smile, "Perfect."
"What's going on?" I ask quietly. Lancing smiles at me, "Aw you're scared aren't you? You should be."
I look at Tyler, "What's going on?"
"Your boy played you, that's what's going on." Lancing says.
"What?"
"Yep, I paid him to get you for me. I mean who's more perfect then your caring friend to bring you right to me."
"Tyler why?" I ask. He waves the cash at me, "Money duh. At first I wasn't going to do it, because you know it's kind of wrong. But then he showed me that you were cheating on me, so I said what the hell right?"
"When did this start?" I ask. He takes a seat in front of me, "He first asked me after we almost had sex, but then you ran off like a little bitch. And then when you told me you cheated the second time I agreed to this. It was who I found out you cheated with that really pushed my buttons."
"So you only got back together with me to bring me to Lancing?" I ask.
"And because you looked hot in that dress and I thought maybe we'd get a chance to fuck before I brought him to you. But you're so caught up on him."
"Oh and by the way, that girl you heard in the background that one time, wasn't my cousin, I was fucking her." I gasp.
"Don't act so surprised, you were fucking Josiah behind my back this whole time." I glared at him, "No I wasn't, I've never even slept with him."
He rolls his eyes, "Whatever, I'm out. Do what you want with her." He says to Lancing.
Lancing smirks and comes up to where I am. He touches my hair, fondling with each curl. "Let's see, what part of you should I send to Josiah first?" He brings out a pair of scissors. "I'm sure he loves your hair, let's start with that." He separates a lock of hair from the rest and cuts it off.
I gasp as I see him pull off a thick strand of hair from my head. "Beautiful. I'm sure he'd appreciate this."
"What are you doing this for? Josiah and I aren't even together."
"Yes but we can all tell he's crazy about you, it's sickening." He looks me over, "I don't even see what he sees in you." He puts the hair in a bag, "I mean I guess you're pretty or whatever, but he can do way better."
"Why do you care?" I ask.
"Because Josiah should be with me!" He exclaims. I pause, "What?"
He glares at me, "Its not fair, Josiah always has his arm around some pretty lady! And when I saw him with you, I realized you were here to stay. It was obvious, so the only way now to get to him." He pauses and looks at me, "Is through you."
"You're gay? And have a crush on Josiah? That's what this whole thing has been about? Because you have a crush on him!" I exclaim.
"Oh shut your mouth."
"You need to let me out of here now, Josiah doesn't care about me. We basically broke up, even though we were never together."
"Oh please, it's obvious that's it's serious." He turns around, "You. You're the real thing, he wants you." He sneers.
"So you're just gonna kill me? That won't make Josiah love you."
He lets out a cynical chuckle, "Oh I know, but if I can't have him, why should anyone else?" I gulp, "I'll be back in the morning, don't go anywhere." He gives me an evil smile before walking out of the room and locking the door.
I started looking for different ways to get out but they all seemed hopeless. I strapped down to a table and the only exit was through that door. I tried to struggle my way out of the straps but it seemed the more I struggled the tighter they got.
I let out a sigh and looked around for my phone, hopefully the tracking device is still on it.
