I woke up to a bang downstairs. I opened my eyes to see I was in Jaxon’s room.

I remembered everything that happened yesterday.

I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to see Jaxon in the living room throwing the table on the wall.

“Jaxon! Where’s Oliver?” I shouted walking closer to him.

“Bethany. Stay back. We don’t have any inje- forgot that just stay back. Let him calm down himself” dad said

“No dad! Chloe. She said she’s going to take my son! I can’t be calm. Jaxon! Jaxon listen to me!” I explained touching Jaxon’s cheek.

“Listen to me jaxon. Control yourself. Calm down!” I whispered

“You remember everything?” Dad asked and I nodded

“Yes dad I do! I know everything. I remember every little detail. But where is Oliver?” I asked walking closer to him

“Princess..he- they took him. But don’t worry! We will get him ba-”

“No! No! I have to do this dad. I have to end this. He took my son. I have to go. Alone” I muttered running out the living to be stopped my Jaxon.

“Cherry wait! Your not going alone. I have to come with you. He is my son as well” Jaxon said and I turned around and shook my head

“No Jaxon! I have to do this alone. It’s mentioned everywhere that I have to do it alone. And you’ll get angry for no reason. I can’t calm you down and protect Oliver at the same time. I can’t Jaxon. I just can’t” I yelled and he let me go.

“I promise to bring Oliver back” I mumbled and ran out the house.

Lexi ?? I thought

I’m okay beth. And i’m looking for him. Use your powers to fly to the top she mumbled and I stopped running.

It’s been a long time I replied looking at my hands

I know you can do it bethany. You have to! She said and I nodded

I used the wind around me to make me fly. I put my hands down on the ground, and thought of flying. The air around me pulled me up to the sky.

Now? I asked

I found their location. Chloe is still running. She’s about 4 hours away from you. If you fly there you will get there in 1-2 hours. And follow her slowly from there. Block your scent so she can’t smell you. And stay in the sky! Lexi explained and I nodded

Okay I mumbled

I’m coming for you Oliver!

Jaxon’s p.o.v

“What are we waiting for? I want all of the best fighters we have to come with me. Kyle I want you to stay here. And Ryan you’re coming with me” I explained

“No! Jaxon. Listen to yourself. Bethany said she has to do this alone. You have to let her do this Jaxon. I am her dad and I want to go as well but I can’t. And you know it. It’s destiny for her to do it alone” Cole said and I shook my head

“Destiny? Me and cherry write our own destiny. And together! So if she goes, I go” I smiled and he shook his head

“I’ll call some people as well and meet you there” he said and I nodded

“Guys lets go. Kyle if anything happens here, look after it” I said and he nodded

“Let’s go get cherry and my son back” I said and we all ran out the house.

Bethany’s p.o.v

I was bored. I was following chloe for 4 hours now. We were past my dad’s territory as well. Suddenly chloe stopped and looked around her.

She was still in another forest. She walked closer to a tree. She touched a branch an a door appeared.

Cool?

She opened the door and walked in, then the door disappeared again. I flew back down and stood on the ground. I walked towards the tree and touched the branch and the door appeared again.

I opened it and walked inside to see James talking to chloe in a room.

“I knew you would come love. How long has it been?” He asked turning around.

“Not long enough. Where is Oliver?” I asked

“Oh Oliver? He’s just in a different room. Playing. I remember when he was a baby. You were really protective. Oh and you have been living with Charles, I know all about it” he smirked

“Because of this bitch” I stared at chloe and she shook her head

“Nope. Because of my magic. Kind of shocking right?” He said sacarastically and I rolled my eyes

“Look James, let’s just sort this out. I just have to kill you” I said and froze him.

“But that the thing-” he muttered a few Latin words and the ice was gone from his body.

“There is no way to kill me love. And what’s the point of following destiny? Why don’t we change it around? You can stay with me? Me, you and Oliver? A small family. How about that?” He smirked sitting down on a chair

“Are you crazy? No!” I exclaimed and he shook his head

“But that’s the thing love, you just have to” he muttered standing up

“I have a mate! And so do you”

“Mate? Oh I can just get rid of all your memory with Jaxon. And I can do the same with him. So you won’t remember anything. And my mate? I saw her fucking your ex. So you know how that turned out- dead” he scoffed

“You killed your own mate? What the fuck!” I exclaimed and he walked towards me.

“Look love, you and me will be together and chloe and Jaxon will be together. Easy! You won’t remember Jaxon and Jaxon won’t remember you!” He replied

“No!” I shouted and trapped him in a shield of ice.

“You know you can’t keep him in there” chloe said as the shield disappeared

“Oh” I mumbled confused.

How am I meant to defeat him if he can get rid of everything I do? I thought as there was a a door opened infront of me.

“Sir. They’re here.” A guy shouted walking into the room.

“Okay. You know what to do!” James replied and the guy nodded and walked out.

“So you called your mate? Hmm I thought you were coming alone?” He turned to me smirking

“Jaxon’s here? I fucking told him to let me do it” I mumbled and he. chuckled

“Looks like he doesn’t listen to you! It doesn’t matter love. He will forgot you soon” he muttered and walked out the room.

“I-”

“Don’t even dare” I mumbled freezing chloe

“You are so sleeping outside Jaxon.” I mumbled running out the room.

I was lost! There was so many rooms.

“Oi” someone shouted behind me and I turned around to see a few guys behind me.

I froze them and ran into a room to see Oliver, and a few girls sat around him.

“Stop her” one of them yelled and I froze them all.

“Come here Oli” I mumbled and he ran to me

“Mommy that was so cool.” Oli said hugging me

“I know baby. I missed you so much. We have to get out of here okay?” I said as he let me go

“Okay mommy” he said and I nodded

“You have to be quiet.” I whispered and he nodded

“Okay mommy” he whispered and I stood up. I picked him up and put him on my hip

“Hold onto me tight. Okay” I whispered and he nodded and wrapped his small arms around my neck.

I walked out the room to see a few guys running towards me.

I froze them and Oli gasped

“That was so cool mommy. Your like Max” he exclaimed and I covered his mouth.

“Shush baby. We need to be quiet” I said and he nodded

We walked out another room to see a forest. And it was empty.

“Baby. You need to be strong for me okay. I’m going to put you in this big tree, okay. And you have to hold on tight. Don’t let go or come down, unless I tell you or you see your dad” I explained flying up the tree

“My mommy is a superhero” he exclaimed as I put him on the highest branch, that was covered by leaves.

“Oli listen to me. I want you to hold this branch okay?” I said and he nodded and he grabbed the branch.

“Are we playing hide and seek with daddy?” He asked and I nodded

“Yep. So you have to be quiet so daddy can’t hear you okay?” I said and he nodded

“Okay mommy. Where are you going to hide?“he asked and I shrugged

“I’m going to find a place to hide. I love you” I whispered kissing his forehead

“I love you too mommy” he whispered back and I flew back down. I touched the ground just as I saw mom and Carter.

“Oh sweetie” mom hugged me and I hugged her back

“Hi mom. What are you guys doing here. I told Jaxon I have to do this alone” I mumbled walking away from the tree as mom let me go.

“We’re here to help” she said and I nodded

“Okay if you find James, just let me know” I mumbled and they both nodded and split up.

I flew back up to the sky to see, everyone fighting. I saw Jaxon fighting people. There were wolves fighting against wolves. So many people fighting, and all because of me.

“Hello love” I heard James say behind me and I quickly turned around.

“Look what’s happening down there. All because of us! People are dying James. Why don’t you just leave us alone” I exclaimed and he smirked

“Really? And sacrifice everything I have done to get you and me together? I tired so many things to make us together. Losing your memory so we can be together. The only reason I left you in Florida was because I knew you wouldn’t believe it, if I just said I was your boyfriend or husband. So I thought if I left you alone and we just met up randomly, we could have had something. How to fuck was I meant to know that Charles will take you in. You were so lucky I couldn’t find you by hI’m hI ding your scent. I tried everything. But them when I realised you were living with Charles I felt stupid. Charles is a fucking wizard, that’s the reason I couldn’t find you. But now I have you to all myself” he shouted pulling me to ground. We were in a small clearing.

“This is not right James.” I explained pushing him away

“This is right. You are meant to be for me. The moon goddess made a mistake. And I’m going to fix it” he shouted just as mom and Carter ran to me

“Your not understanding!” Mom shouted and he shook his head

“I understand very well Skylar. You all think you can kill me? But you can’t. If you kill me then all of these people everyone is fighting against will die. All these people are illusions. That’s how fucked up you are” he yelled

“We are going to kill you” Carter said and James smirked

“You think killing me is easy? The only way to kill me is my bethany using all of her powers together, meaning she dies. Do you want your daughter to die skylar?” He smirked

“There must be another way.” Mom mumbled and he nodded

“There is another way to get rid of me! Just give me bethany and I’ll leave everyone alone” he said and mom shook her head

" No!” She exclaimed and I sighed

“This is stupid!” I muttered and created a storm around James but it disappeared

“Like I told you! Why don’t you try something else?” He asked and Carter touched the ground. The grass grew around James but then it disappeared

“Fucking asshole” I yelled as Jaxon ran to me with everyone behind him.

“Killed them already?” James smirked and Jaxon growled

“Where’s my son!” Jaxon asked growling and James chuckled

“You are a little slow, your mate here already took him, right love? He is playing hide and seek right?” He smirked

“Leave us alone James . We’re giving you a chance. Leave us alone and we forgot about all of this” dad said walking closer to him

“No! If you give me bethany I will leave.” James said and Jaxon growled

“No!” He shouted and James smirked

“Oh well. I did let you guys know” James said and I was confused.

“Wha-” all of a sudden I was in a big bubble with James smirking at me.

“Where did she go?” Dad muttered

“I did tell you bethany. I will get you love. And now I have you! Me and you will live happily ever after” he said walking closer to me

“happily ever after? With you? No James. I will live happily ever after with Jaxon” I muttered

“Oh but your here with me” he said and I shook my head

“We gave you a chance James. And you didn’t take it.” I explained and he shook his head

“If you do it bethany, you will die” he said nervously

“I gave you a chance James. And if protecting my family means dying then I am okay with that” I mumbled closing my eyes

I thought of all of my powers together. I opened my eyes to see my hands shaking

“Bethany stop!” He yelled and I knew my eyes were changing colour

“I told you James. I told you so many times” I yelled and he shook his head

“Okay fine” he exclaimed and I shook my head

“It’s over now” I mumbled and pushed my hands out towards him, a big yellow light exploded from my hands and the bubble around us exploded.

“Cherry” I heard Jaxon shout and I smiled closing my eyes

“I did it” I Mumbled as Jaxon caught me.

“Cherry wake up!” He shouted

“I am awake Jaxon. I’m standing right next to you” I said and he kept shaking a body on the floor.

Where am I? I mumbled walking around Jaxon to see I was dead on the floor and James was lying down dead as well.

“Bethany” I heard an angelic voice behind me. I turned around to see a young woman, with blond hair and blue eyes, standing next to me in a beautiful white dress.

“Moon goddess?” I questioned and she nodded

“I’m proud of you bethany. You sacrificed everything to save the supernatural race.” She said and I smiled

“I was chosen to do it. But what’s going on here?” I asked turning back to see Jaxon shifting into his wolf and ripping James from limp to limp

“You died. To save the world you sacrificed yourself” she said and I nodded slowly

“So I won’t be able to go back?” I asked and she shook her head

“I’m sorry child. There is no way to go back” she said, I sighed and nodded

“Cherry wake up. Please. You promised” I heard Jaxon shouted walking back to my dead body.

“Jaxon, she’s no more” dad mumbled to him and he shook his head tears rolling down his face.

“Cherry wake up! Please” he pleaded running a hand threw my hair.

“I think its time to go” the moon goddess said

“Can I stay a little longer?” I asked and she shook her head

“I’m sorry child. But you will meet new people. Your parents as well” she said and I nodded

“Okay” I mumbled and a white light appeared
