Xu Zhiyin nestled against his chest and could not move. His apology made her feel sad. She seized his shirt and wiped her tears with it, wetting part of his shirt. “Bastard! Gu Nantian, you’re a bastard!”

Gu Nantian placed his palms on her head, pacifying her, “Yes, I’m a bastard! I didn’t wish to hurt you on purpose. I… didn’t know how to treat you.”

Gu Nantian continued to explain clearly, “If you wish to work in the hospital, I’ll allow you to go back. I won’t keep you by my side every day.”
