Part 24

Neha POV

"Enough! Can you do that or not? I am asking to hack that system back and send the address and you are saying you can't do at least that. " Hearing the loud sound from the bedroom, I keen into the room. Hacking?

He seems restless. It seems something very serious.

"I won't consider you as a friend again if you act like this. I am saying last, if possible just give a leave letter to me. At least I can appoint someone worthy. " He hangs the call the next second without hearing from the other side.

This is the first time I am seeing Ayaan like that. This scary cat scaring someone. I always thought he too calm, but yeah! Who can keep patience at all the time?

"Ayaan, what is the matter? " I asked.

"Nothing Neha, some official matters. " He replied calmly and give me a smile at the end.

"What about hacking that you talked about earlier? " I can't hold myself, anyway he is my friend and happened to be my husband.

"That is... Someone hacked my system and I asked that idiot in my department to send the hacker locations. But he said it's too difficult." He replied and worry is evident on his forehead.

I touched his shoulder and said, "let me help you, I know a little about hacking. "

"Neha, this isn't any joke. " He isn't believing it.

"Am I seems like a jocker Ayaan? "

"If you are so confident, then, please. But only about hackers location nothing more. I already know who it is. He is playing hide and seeks these days." He allowed me to sit.

Taking my laptop from there, I started my work.

"Did any data stolen? "

"Nothing much, there is only a threat to me. " When he said that I am curious to find the threat. I looked at him hoping to hear that threat. These hacking games are so interesting.

"That is confidential. "

"If you don't mind, I can work in your office. I am jobless and have a degree. There are two months available before starting classes. " I asked him hopefully.

"It is a government job. I love to help you with UPSC preparation if you want. " He tapped my nose.

"Ayaan, don't do that. " I scolded him. By the way, when did I start to talk with him so freely.

Then I concentrated on finding the location. By that time he went outside of the room to talk with Fahad. Fahad is going outside. Yeah, I have done it.

"Ayaan," I called. After some time he walked inside.

"Done? " He sounds excited.

"Yeah done. " Then I shared the location with him.

"How lucky I am to get a talented wife. " He is smiling.

"Don't think that I didn't notice you are flirting for two days. You should stop yourself rather than getting something from me. " Ayaan looked so shocked. "Don't forget that I am a karate girl."

He runs his fingers through his hair and asked, "what about considering our marriage a chance? " He asked with hope. I am speechless. I am feeling the heat on my face and raised my heartbeat.

Don't tell me that he already fall in love with me.

"Let me check your laptop for security. " I extended my hands to him trying to ignore his question.

After looking at some file suddenly I found a folder named 'lo..'. I double-clicked to open the folder. Before having a look distracting me Ayaan asked making me turn my head to him.

"How was your first defence class? "

"Arsha is nice. She has a humour sense too. " Suddenly he placed his hand over me on the mouse and closed the folder then shutting down the computer.

When he placed his hand over me, I felt something cold on my stomach and I hiccups. His face is just inched away from but he is busy shutting down the computer but my mind went back to the sentences he told me today.

"I don't like anyone to hug my wife other than me."

"what about considering our marriage a chance? "

These dialogues are ringing in my ears and I find myself in a new situation that's very new to me. We looked at each other's eyes for sometimes and I break the eye lock.

Eye lock?

No, no. That is just checking his eyes.  Again hiccups. This not gonna leave me.

Taking the laptop with him, he again asked.

"Dis you thought about giving a chance to our marriage? " Hiccups again.

"We are friends now. That's a very fast step we take." Hiccups! "I believe we can make our marriage work if we fall in love. " I stated.

But love? Does that thing exist?

"I am waiting. " He winked.

Hiccups.

"I will be back. Need to go and catch the hacker. " He walked away.

By the way, why he is so handsome?

I placed my palm on my mouth. Neha, you doing things wrong. But it is just because he is attractive nothing more.

He is my husband means I can check him out and admire him as I wish without any shame.

But I didn't accept him as my husband.

He is good looking. He has a nice job. He stands for me. He even talked to my Dad and supported me regardless of what he thinks. He knows cooking. He treats everyone equally, man or female doesn't matter to him, but human matters. He respects woman. He is not bossy, he is calm. He has patience.

Stop the train.

But why he is so good? I felt like crying. My eyes are filled with tears. What if I fall for him?

No, I have to find negative things about him. I wiped my eyes and took a notepad and a pen.

Now, I am going to write negative things about him. Good luck Neha, don't fall for him. He is a nice human that's all.

1.He is a scary cat.

But these days he is not scared of me at all. I took the next paper.

1. He is the police.

That's a really big thing even though he is good. That's a negative thing.

2.He threw away my PinkY and insulted it calling as Pinky.

I am sitting here for more than half of an hour but I don't find the third negative point. Now I have to be cautious to find negative about him.

When it is night, Ayaan came back. He said he didn't get the real man behind it. Because the hacker doesn't even know his boss's face. It seems so hard to find that man's location.

"What are you doing? " Ayaan asked me soon as he locked the door.

"It is called pillow border," I said by adjusting the pillow with equal space for both of us.

"Really? " He laughed. "Do you mean you don't cross it? " He laughed again.

"Do I look like a pervert? " I asked my walking to him and he walked back.

"No. " He nodded his head as no. The scary cat he is.

"But one condition. " He said

"Tell me? "

"You have to keep that thing named PinkY away. "

"Impossible. It is for cuddling. I can't sleep without it. " I hugged PinkY.

He has no objection about anything but PinkY. What that little thing did to him.

"Ayaan, if you dare to touch it then you are dead. " I warned him and lie down on my side cuddling my PinkY. Later he too lied down causing a big thud sound.

Feeling no comfortable I am turning, moving and doing everything and finally found my PinkY. Placing my head on it will always be good. But...

Suddenly I opened my eyes only to meet his. Am I hugging him?

Third-person POV.

"Boss, situations are quite hard. Everywhere he tightly secured. No one is allowed to enter the home or near it without checking. I tried all way to kidnap Neha, but all in vain. " His right hand reported everything only to earn a hard slap on his face.

His boss is standing in front of him. Everyone is intimidated about his good build body. Winning a boxing championship was his passion until he got ruled out due to the involvement of drugs. Having a handsome face, no one will ever believe that he is some mafia man.

No one, literally no one can find his location. Because no one ever thinks about such a place. He is a man who not settle in one place because of so many enemies and policies.

"It is Neha Mam for you. " He said after giving another slap to him and he caressed his scratch on his forehead with a smile.

"Do you have any other idea? "

"No boss. " He is shivering.

"You can go ba***"

"Neha. " He smiled while looking at her photo. He first thought about punishing her but without his knowledge, he has fallen for her. He is smiling at her photo like an idiot.

Hey guys how is the update?. There was little romance in it. Haven't you noticed? 🙈🙈

Neha is in confusion. Will she fall in love with him? Will she accept the fact that love exists. 😁 let's see.

What about our new character? The boss the villain? Will he get love ❤? 😉

Okay, my first drama was 'my girlfriend is an alien.' I watched it before lockdown and watched it again. It is one of my favourite drama. How cute she is?
