Older Sister Qin nodded. There was a maturity of seeing through relationships as a woman who had just experienced a failed marriage.

The little bit disappointed that Gu Shishi was feeling from the boss not showing up disappeared right away.

So he did go with her purposefully.

Gu Shishi searched her memories with her chin resting on her palm and noticed that a lot of them began to make sense.

Then she frowned.

Thanksgiving would be there soon.

She wanted to give the boss a gift. It is critical for her to avoid things that could be triggers for him.

Even if he didn’t like the gift, she still wouldn’t want anything that would bring back any bad memories.
