I can't believe it. When the door opened and I saw Char's eyes all puffy, I was so scared that I thought I was going to pass out. When she told me what happened, I couldn't breathe. My whole body was numb. It's been two weeks since me and Char found out that Tonya's mystery man is our father. We haven't heard from him or seen him since before our mom left. I never thought I would see him again. I'm angry. I'm sad. I'm not sure what I am. This man left us when we needed him the most. He let me raise my little sister on my own. Char wasn't old to remember everything that happened, but I am. Now every memory is fresh on my brain. He's the reason our mom turned to drugs. She caught him with a woman in our house, and everything went downhill from there. I don't know exactly what happened, only the things that I overheard her saying to her friends. Here's everything I know:

She was much younger.My mom knew her personally.The woman became pregnant from the affair.

I haven't been to work since I found out. I honestly haven't been able to function. How could he ruin our lives and never apologize? What type of father does that? What kind of man does that? I'm not mad at Tonya; she doesn't owe me any loyalty. She wasn't obligated to tell anyone about her love life, but Char is heated. She vowed to never speak to her again. She's so hotheaded; I hope she doesn't do anything she regrets.
