CHAPTER 39- HEART TO HEART~Ayesha💕
Met by Destiny
PART-IV
"All words In the dictionaries, letters, and novels died. I want to discover a way to love you without words."
A Y E S H A : -
"Who's house is this?" I ask tightening my coat around me as the cold winds gush through the air.
"See it for yourself," Farhan says after parking his bike near a tree and hung our helmets on a handle below the seat of the bike, setting his hairs with one hand, with his other one he grabbed mine and started leading me towards the small gate of a beautiful two story house,
As we reached the porch Farhan rang the bell, and the sound of someone of running on the other side of the door was heard, the door opened revealing...yousuf?
He looked at Farhan bored and says,
"No we don't want anything you're selling,"
I chuckled and Farhan rolled his eyes, Yousuf's gaze fell on me, his eyes widened and he spread his arms wide,
"Bhabhi!" he came forward to hug me but Farhan made a voice of disapproval and pushed him back a little hard that he stumbled back inside,
Farhan walked inside, passing Yousuf who just casually adjusted his glasses and hair, and entered the house with me,
We entered a cozy living room with a small fireplace and white sofas' arranged aligned to it, a little further was kitchen and dining area, on the right side of the dining area were a set of stairs leading upwards,
"Who is on the door yousuf? I swear if you started chatting with another person who asks for addressâoh hello you two!" Hajra descended the stairs yelling at Yousuf but grinned when she spotted us and I did the same.
She walked to us and just smacked Farhan's shoulder as greeting, I tried to hold in my surprise,
"Nice way to say hello Hajra." Farhan mutters dryly rubbing his shoulder,
"Hajra? You here?" I ask as she hugged me,
Hajra pulled back from the hug and looked at Farhan and then back at me,
"I take your husband didn't tell you, again. No surprise there, but anywho before you think anything no, it isn't mission that we all are here, we are here on a little vacation, this is a house we rented, so no it isn't ours." she replies wrapping an arm around my shoulders, like we were some old friends, and I don't mind it.
Before I could ask her where Bilal bhai and baby dani is, she beat me to it,
"Bilal is with daniyal upstairs trying to make him sleep, that kid of mine couldn't sleep without watching cocomelon." She shook her head,
"He's your kid after all." Yousuf said plopping on the sofa, Farhan snickered with him, Hajra rolled her eyes at them,
"Wow, I really didn't needed to ask anything " I chuckled and she laughed, Farhan had taken a seat on the sofa with Yousuf beside him, Yousuf was requesting, no practically begging Farhan to give him keys to his bike to him so he could take a stroll, to which Farhan denied.
"And you carry him too on your vacation?" I joked pointing at Yousuf who was still requesting Farhan,
Hajra sighed, "No we don't, he just....crashed here."
Yousuf paused his begging and turned to us, "First off it was you who told me I can, no I am going to stay with you all as you care about me-"
Hajra cut him, "I said, I don't have trust on you roaming in a new city free-"
"Like I said, you said me that and told me to live with you both so stop lying to bhabhi about it, and bhabhi-" he gasped dramatically looking at me,
"How dare you called me a thing that they carry-"
"I said him not thing-" he cut me off,
"It's the same disrespect for me, I thought you were the only one who I loved here-" Farhan shot him an look,
"Cared here â alright Fb? âAnd you, fine! you showed me my place here." he dramatically slumped down on the sofa,
"His antics are never ending, take a seat, I will bring you both some tea," hajra says pointing to the kitchen.
"Should I help?" I ask,
"Absolutely not, sit down here," she pushed me down by my shoulders on the sofa beside Farhan.
"So what brought you here yousuf?" I ask him,
"My girlfriend is getting married." he says casually removing his glasses and wiping them with his shirt.
My smile faltered, "What?"
He laughed putting his glasses back, "Kidding, I have no girlfriend at the first place."
"Yeah we know," Farhan muttered to which Yousuf totally ignored him,
"Actually I am here, searching a house for my family, my mom is shifting here, so I thought it would be better to do my masters here after studying far from home for like six years." Yousuf sighed, and by his tone he sounded very sad about living far from home. I could totally understand.
"That's nice, where is your mom now?" I ask him as Hajra brought us some tea.
"In oman, she's staying with my sister and her husband's house." he says plopping his feet up the coffee table, to which hajra glared at him, but he subtly ignored her and took his tea.
"I remember you said you are medical student, so what are you planning to specialise in?" I ask sipping strawberry tea which hajra made, It's delicious, but nothing like my milk tea but I need to ask from where she got this.
Yousuf opened his mouth and closed it and sighed, "I don't know I haven't decided yet, psychiatry maybe? Psychology? Meh I am not sure."
"You really don't like to make a decision," Farhan says sipping his tea.
"Er is there even a difference between them?" Hajra chuckled awkwardly,
Farhan looked curious, while me and Yousuf stared at her blankly.
"Of course there's a difference Hajra." I stated obviously,
She frowned, "Really?"
"What do you expect from a dumb business major bhabhi?" Yousuf snickered.
"Excuse me! Business is equally challenging as well alright!" Hajra snapped,
"Yeah sure with no assignments or whatsoever, I am sure you guys only open your notes 30 minutes before exam," Yousuf snickers,
"Oh yeah? Try studying economics and finance maybe." Farhan interjected, taking a side with Hajra.
"Please don't get started Fb, those books could be easily smashed under my anatomy and physiology book." Yousuf crossed his legs on the sofa and turned towards Farhan with a smug look.
"That I can agree on." I agree sipping some delicious strawberry tea.
"Aw come on you too Ayesha, well your husband was a dumb business major too, just saying." She shrugs, pointing at Farhan.
"Excuse me, you were the dumbest who always askedâ no steal my notes before exams." Farhan defended and I raised my eyebrows.
"You were the Wikipedia of our college time." Hajra exclaimed.
"You used to steal others notes, I used to steal yours," hajra added and Farhan rolled his eyes.
"You both were in same in college?" I asked surprised.
"Yes, Me Bilal and Farhan was in the same batch, the best years." hajra smiles,
"My worst years," Farhan muttered and hajra threw a pillow on him to which he skilfully dodged.
"As much I collected the information over the years being a side cassette, Bilal was- well is the brain of the group and he made all the notes, and your husband used to be the cliche bad boy and made others to give their notes to him, to which he used to sold them to madame Hajra." Yousuf says to me shaking his head.
"Didn't you collected a little too much information?" Farhan pursed his lips.
"Yeah, being a side cassette after all." Hajra said tucking her curly strands and gave Yousuf a menacing look.
"Well this is what us medical students are expert in, observing. Isn't it bhabhi?" He asks me with a playful knowing look.
"Of course, at it's best." I chuckled, Yousuf brought his fist forward for me to bump it, but before I could bump it Farhan took hold of his fist and shoved it back.
"Chill, Caveman." I mumbled to him.
"Jealous mf." Yousuf mumbled and Farhan glared at him.
Stiffling her laugh hajra says, "Please Yousuf don't even start this medical and business fight, it activates my inner politician." Hajra points her index finger at Yousuf and warns.
"Please," Yousuf scoffs and chuckle mockingly, "You are a politician by birth."
Before Hajra could say anything, we all turn our head, hearing Bilal bhai descending the stairs asking,
"Do I need to know about what topic the war is going to start?" He chuckles, walking over to give Farhan a hug, I greet him and he answers a response before taking seat beside his wife, resting his arm around her shoulders.
"The most iconic topic it is." Farhan raises his eyebrows in mock seriousness.
A look of realisation dawns on his face as he looks at his wife and then at Yousuf,
"Then I don't want to interfere, thank you." He tried to steal Hajra's tea but she whacked his hand away.
"Dani slept?" She asks him rubbing his hand where she hit him,
"After three episodes of cocomelon, yes." Bilal bhai sighed, and Hajra patted his cheek, they are such cute parents.
I wonder how will I be? I looked at Farhan, and as if sensing my gaze he looked at me at the same time. My cheeks suddenly felt heated so I swiftly moved my head and looked at the flames crackling in the fireplace.
Why am I so awkward.
"How is Irhaa?" Farhan asks hajra, keeping his empty tea cup on the table.
Hajra smiled brightly, "She's doing great, better than before."
"That's really good." Farhan nodded with a smile on his face.
"She slept early today, otherwise she would be really happy to meet her Farhan Lala[brother]," hajra says, smiling brightly.
"She's really better than before, and dani loves her," Bilal bhai says, making Hajra nod with a smile.
"That devil loves everyone except me," Yousuf sighs,
"He is cute," I argue remembering meeting that cutie at Sania's wedding.
"Please, ask me." He shook his head, scoffing.
"Leave him, how is Irhaa doing?" Farhan asks again, I feel a little left out, someone fill in please.
"She's great you know she greeted Bilal today, I am so proud of her," hajra claps her hands, I guess they are talking about the girl which I saw with them at that restaurant. I looked at Farhan and he had a proud smile at his face, like a proud parent seeing his child's report card.
"But she is still scared of me, even I want her to call me bhai, like she does to Bilal and Fb." Yousuf complaints,
"She's a bit reserved Yousuf, and from the circumstances she came from, you have to understand that," Farhan says to Yousuf.
"Today when I came from outside and saw her in the kitchen and said hi, she got so scared and was two seconds away from crying, and I was four seconds away from crying." Yousuf sighs sadly.
Hajra got up from her seat, and started collecting all the empty cups on the tray,
"You scared her you dimwit, it was a obvious reaction and I told you to be a little gentler and careful with her." I stood up with her and helped her collecting the cups despite her denying.
"How much time has passed since your and Bilal bhai's marriage?" I ask her setting the empty cups in the sink with her.
"Almost five years," she smiles with a loving gaze, "Time flies."
"It does." I smile.
"So you both had a college love story I assume?" I said bumping her shoulder,
She laughs and nodding her head, "Yes, a college love story except for the fact that he was the silent handsome nerd, and I was the dork." She scoffs washing the cups.
"A beautiful dork," I added, making her chuckle,
"Yeah," she smiles, "From taking notes from him to signing the marriage certificate with him, been quite a journey." She sighs overwhelmingly,
"Sounds beautiful, if I were a writer I would have written a book on your love story," I say leaning on the counter,
Hajra scoffs, "Please, before you could even start my story, I would've published my biography." I laughed with her.
After washing the cups she kept them on the dryer, and leaned against the counter beside me.
"You know Farhan was the bad boy, but not the cliche type," she starts looking over the living room, where the boys were seated,
I quirked my eyebrow, "Really?"
"Not those bad boys who used to bully others or cat call girls, he was a rebellious bad boy who used to annoy his lecturers, principal, and used to pick up fights, a lot." she chuckles, shaking her head, "And god, he was a rebellious," she sighs.
I chuckle, "Was he?" I looked at Farhan who was talking something seemingly important to Bilal bhai, and Yousuf was almost asleep. "Doesn't look like it."
"Aha? Ask your husband about his college adventures, there would be many," she laughs, turning around to arrange the plates which was in the dryer back into their places. I took the glasses and helped her,
"You tell me about his adventures, you know he won't say anything,â here?" I ask pointing at the glass cabinet,
"Yeah, second rowâ now for this you ask him, I said you enough, and one thing-"
She closes the plates drawer and turns to me as I close the cabinet,
"He's a really nice human Ayesha, and I am not saying this because I am his friend or I know him, I am saying it because I've seen him, from being emotionally broken in the final year of college after his brother's demise, and being completely helpless, to see him become a complete callous, a non functioning human, he completely changed you know-" her voice cracked and her eyes glistened, making my heart constrict, "the boy who was with us in the college, the boy who used to steal my lunch, complete assignments together, who helped me getting patched with bilal, he was lost, he was gone, completely, the only person after that day I saw was a man, a broken one. Who needed to cry, who needed love, support, who needed someone but he didn't allow any of it, he builded walls around his heart, he hid his heart under the bricks of the wall, and continued to live with his heart under the dark, lonely shadows of the wall," she wiped the tears from her cheeks and passed me a tissue, realising my cheeks are wet, I wiped my tears with the tissues.
"Despite the shadows there is still a heart, which is always ready to help everyone, he brought Irhaa to our main house, treated her like a sister, a daughter almost, if he wanted he could have left her to the services at the police station, but he brought her home, gave that girl a life which she deserved, who does that?" She chuckles through her tears,
"You have a big heart too hajra, even you kept her at your house like your own sister, who even does that," I smiled at her, patting her arm,
"My allah wanted me to help so I am doing it, it's seriously nothing." She shakes her head as she picks on her nails.
"But you know shadows are tend to break, when there is a light threatening to break the wall, it was you," I looked at her startled, "I have never seen Farhan in these years so light, so relaxed, almost like his old self. All because of you."
Now I shake my head, "I did nothing, He changed because he wanted to, and if a person determines what he wants, nothing could stop him."
"Nothing could be changed without an influence, and love." Hajra says back,
Before I could reply, Farhan calls me from the living room telling me to come fast as we are leaving,
"Coming," I yelled back.
"Men," hajra chuckles, "let's go before he throws a fit," she wipes her face with tissue completely and throws it in the bin at the corner of the counter and walks to the living room,
As I went to throw my tissue at the bin, I accidentally knock a small brown colour cover book on the counter, making it fall, the pages sprawled on the floor,
Shaking my head at my clumsiness, I bend down and picked it up, placing it back on the counter, the front page was opened, before closing the book cover, my eyes caught a name on the front page of the book,
Sitara.
I frowned confused, is it Hajra's name? I flipped few pages and saw few writings in urdu which seemed as if they were letters, thinking it's personal I closed the book and positioned it properly on the counter.
After bidding Hajra and Bilal bhai good bye, because Yousuf dosed off on the sofa, me and Farhan exited the house and walked to his bike.
There was no snow today, but the winds were still cold making me shiver and tightening my coat around me. As Farhan was starting the ignition of the bike, my eyes caught something on the second floor's window of the house,
squinting my eyes, I saw small figure watching us secretly from the window, smiling I waved at her, she got startled and drawed the curtains hastily.
"What are you waving at?" Farhan asks looking at me, wearing his helmet,
Looking at my hand I shook my head, wearing my helmet, "Nothing, let's go." placing my hands on his shoulders, I mounted on the bike, and clutched his shoulders tightly as Farhan zoomed the bike at the empty cold roads of istanbul.
Noticing the faint smell of salty sea, and significantly more cold winds, I ask him,
"Are we going to the sea shore?"
"You will see that," his voice hollered in the air.
*_*_*_*_*_*
"Wow this is beautiful," I mutter hoping off the bike and looking at the sea shore below the rocks, and stone benches aligned above the rocks, on the right side at a little distance there was a harbour with boats and yatch tied, small bulbs were hang along the harbour's wooden railing, giving it a warm glow to its surroundings along with sound of waves crashing on the rocks.
Farhan parked his bike and took my hand and made our way to one of the benches situated above the rocks...or so I thought because he crossed the bench and started walking down near the rocks, making me plant my feet on the ground,
"Farhan what are you doing? What if something is there down the rocks, let's sit here on the bench," I hold out his hands,
He tugged my hand saying, "Nothing is here, just come down, there is no harm."
"What if there is a crocodile?" I asked frightened.
Farhan placed his foot on the top rocks and tugged my hand with a force making me squeal, "This is sea side, not ocean or lake for a crocodile to come here, there is nothing." I placed my foot on the rock clutching his arm,
"What if there is one?" I asked pausing my foot on a wobbly rock.
Farhan grabbed my waist, steadying me, "I am very tempted to use a cliche line of 'trust me', or I am just going to carry you on my shoulder, either way there is no backing out."
I looked in his eyes, his handsome face was glowing from the dull lights of the harbour, "Ok, but not too far."
Farhan nodded and started descend the rock hill, steadying me at few times and carefully placing his steps on the rocks.
As the sounds of waves crashing on the rocks became louder, I tugged his hand,
"I think this is enough, see we can sit here." I pointed at a random rock.
"Oh come on trust me," he tugged my hand and climbed down a little more, nearly six feet away from the sea, he opened his phone's flashlight and found a rock while I clutched his jacket from back,
"Let's sit here," he pointed to a nice flat rock and made our way to it, sighing I sat on the rock, looking at the waves crashing on the rocks, the salty smell of sea hung in the air, making it quite peaceful.
I looked over my shoulder, to see the rocks which we just descended and gasped looking at the high hill, I could only see faint outline of the benches, "We came down so below," I gasped.
"Yeah, you were scared for no reason, descending down is easy, climbing back could be...difficult." I snapped my neck at him with wide eyes and he chuckled.
"Kidding." He looked beside my leg and
Squinted his eyes, "What's that over there? It's looks spikey..is that a crocodile?" His voice turned shocked,
I yelped moving my legs up and moved close to Farhan my heart beating loudly in my chest, when I heard him laughing I smacked his arm,
"It's not funny," a chuckle left my mouth, clutching my chest.
"There's nothing see," he moved his flashlight to the rock and there was nothing except few rocks.
"Still not funny." I shook my head and wrapped my hands around his arm, cause I wanted too and it felt nice holding a muscular arm, and looked at the sea below us, the Bosporous bridge's outline could be seen from here, the lights from the bridge reflected on the sea water, making the scenery even more beautiful.
"It felt nice, meeting with Bilal bhai, Hajra and Yousuf, " I say viewing the faraway lights of a boat passing by the bridge,
"You were clueless half of the time." He chuckles, looking ahead.
"Obviously, you expect me to know everything in one time? It takes time." I said adjusting the baby hairs which peeked from my hijab on my forehead.
"So you were not even a bit curious?"
"A bit, not more." I reply, rubbing my hands together.
"Hajra told me how you saved Irhaa, it made so happy." I say after a while,
He looked at the sea ahead, "Hajra exaggerated, who am I? a super hero to save her? I just felt a connection with her, you know a connection towards a sister, that's it, and besides if not me, someone else might've helped her."
"Not everyone do," I reply, looking at his side profile, "I am proud of you."
Farhan turned his head towards me, his hazel eyes glimmering in a certain emotion which wasn't very hard to pick. Appreciation, surprise, "You are? Really?" He whispered, his expression mirroring like a shade in a slouching sun, a warm embrace in a winter night, so pure.
"Hmm," I hummed and confidently rested my chin on his shoulder, "Hajra also told you being a notorious bad boy." I bit my lip as he rolled his eyes.
"First, Hajra needs to stop talking, second, I was for sure not a notorious bad boy." He huffed.
"Aha? Then what were you like?" I ask curiously,
"I was a.." he thinks for the correct term, and when he gets the correct term he clicks his fingers, "A rebellious kid."
I laugh, "kid? You sure?"
"Yeah. Not like the notorious bad boys..please." he isn't going to leave that term now.
"So you never talked to girls?" I ask, looking at the sea below,
Not getting an answer I turned to Farhan and saw him avoiding my gaze,
"I-um no-no," he shook his head avoiding my gaze. What a liar.
"No? Really? Tell me I won't judge or get mad." I think I would be mad a little but I will try.
He looked at me wrily saying,
"Feels like a warning look from you,"
"I won't really," I assured him.
"Oh," he relaxes his shoulders "I did talked- few times...few girls but nothing seriousâ don't give me that look you said you won't get mad."
So you would tell everything unfiltered to your wife? "I am not really." I pursed my lips,
He looked at me as if, I was bomb ready to explode, "Well you asked but," he sighs taking my hand in his, "I am not very proud of my teenage phase,"
Now I feel bad, "it's okay, we all make mistakes."
He nods caressing my knuckles with his thumb, "We do, but I don't like that rebellious phase of mine, I did mistakes, made bad decisions, if it were in my hand I would've liked to delete that phase of my life."
I played with the small zip on his jacket's sleeve, "It's alright Farhan, what matters now is that you realised your mistakes and reflected on it."
"Also when, I was unnecessarily rude to you." He says, looking at my hand in his,
"Farhan," I sigh, "We talked about it, I forgive you for that." I smiled at him and he nodded his head looking at the waves crashing the rocks,
After few moments he looked at me and asked, "Is there any phase in your life which you want to delete it?"
I laughed, "Oh there are, many of it."
"You have too?" He asked genuinely curious,
"Yes Farhan, everyone has something but what matters is how you use it to reflect on your future, how you learn from it, How can you know what's right for you, without first learning what is wrong?"
His face was stunned under the warm hues from the harbour, "How can you be so positive all the time?"
"Rather than catching on the negative things, why don't we see the beautiful things only? no?" I placed my fist under my chin.
He laughed heartedly, "You are cute."
Suppressing my blush I say, "So I have been told."
After a few moments of seeing the waves below us, the sweet melody of waves was making me a bit drowsy, Farhan spoke up after a while,
"This used to be my place, you know?"
"Your place?" I ask curiously,
"Yes. Like a hiding spot. If I did something, or felt like everything is going wrong, I just used come here and sit there," he pointed to a rock nearly two feet away from the sea.
"No one knew about this place, except Fahad bhai, who found me here hiding after my results." He chuckled, I smiled at him,
"So it's your special spot?" I question looking around the peaceful harbour,
He nodded, the salty winds near the shore making his hair flutter, "I haven't been here since four years, the last time I was here, I didn't got the peace which I usually used to get, not a pleasant memory." He shook his head.
"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked carefully studying his features.
"I- that day- he- i," he sighed harshly slapping his hand on his knee, "I-i can't."
My heart wrenched painfully seeing my husband's pain, "It's alright you don't have to." I rubbed his arm,
"No it's always like this, i-i couldn't just-" seeing his struggle I stopped him by grabbing his hand.
"It's alright, I understand." I say firmly,
Knowing it was related to fahad's bhai death I say, "He would've been so proud of you."
"You think that?" He scoffed rather bitterly.
"Uhm, he was your brother Farhan and he loved you, what you are now has nothing to do with it."
"It has everything to do with it, what am I now Ayesha? I don't even know, I don't even pray accept on eid or when baba or Bilal drag me to pray, Even Allah won't forgive me." He is opening up, I need to feel him that he is human and it is okay to make mistakes.
"What happened with Fahad bhai, could not be changed by you, me or anyone, it was in Allah's hands, everything is and it's never too late Farhan, your heart still has its imaan, [Faith] that's why you are scared from Allah, it's the intentions that matters, even if someone's sins are equal to an ocean, Allah is ready to forgive him because he asked for repentance, isn't that beautiful?" I smiled warmly, squeezing his arm,
He looked at me in a daze, "You are so pure, you always pray, read Quran, Tolerate my behaviour, Allah must love you so much."
Setting his hair which kept flying on his forehead I reply, "Allah loves everyone Farhan, he has kept you safe, gave you house to live, a nice job, both of them, and gave you respect why? Because he loves you, it's never to late to turn back, will you pray with me? Please?" I bit my lip unsurely,
He nodded, caressing my wrist and I gave him the biggest smile.
"Well now we are making one." I say after a while, eyeing his shoulder, I wanted to place my head there. But would I be a little straightforward to do that?
He quirked an eyebrow, "What?"
"A pleasant memory, for you to remember." I smiled at him, tightening my coat around me, should have wore a thick one.
He smiled, "You really know how to brighten someone's mood don't you?"
I shook my head, "I know you miss Fahad bhai a lot, I don't remember much from my childhood, but I remember him being the best cousin, the best person."
"He would've loved you honestly." He says, with a small smile,
"For taming you?" I teased,
"Technically trueâ wait a second " he paused and moved his arm behind my head and pushed my head on his shoulder, and wrapped his arm around my shoulder, making me attach to him, his warm embrace shielding me from the harsh cold winds.
"You were cold." He says looking down at me.
"You noticed?" I asked, partly shocked,
"Of course I did." He nods,
His eyes were roaming all over my face as if he was trying to trace all my features, making my heart do weird things.
"I am really glad that I married you." He whispers,
"Really?" I whispered feeling butterflies roam in my stomach as his hand which was previously on my shoulder moved down to my ribs, I was scared he could feel my erratic heartbeat.
"Yes." He whispered, looking at me intently,
"Because I made you a tea addict?" I blurted out feeling flustered of his gaze.
He laughed heartedly and rested his forehead on mine, "Well yes, one the reasons."
"Even I am glad I married you," I say, holding his hand tightly,
"Uhm?" He hummed, caressing his fingers on my waist,
"Because I get to see your beautiful eyes everyday?" My breathing came out uneven as his hand started rubbing on the side of my ribs, the heat of his fingers penetrating through the fabric of my clothing.
He moved back and looked at me,
"You think I have beautiful eyes?"
Gulping, I reply, "Yes they are." I say looking at his beautiful hazel eyes.
Farhan looked at me in my eyes intensely than ever before and something changed in the atmosphere as his gaze dropped down.... to my lips.
Is the world getting cramped up or is he inching closer to me? Farhan tilted his head and my lips parted unintentionally, butterflies swarmed inside me like a ton and my breathing stopped, I shivered as our noses grazed. Is this the moment we......
I jumped back in utter shock at the sound of Farhan's ringtone echoing in the silent night, the cold winds embraced me again making me miss his warmth. Farhan closed his eyes and clenched his jaw in frustration as he took his phone out of his pocket,
"What?" He grunted answering the phone.
"Chill down, mr. hulk," Mina's voice screeched through the air, the phone was not on speaker but her voice is loud enough to hear.
Farhan pinched the bridge of his nose,
"What do you want mina?"
"I am really suppressing a very nice sarcastic remark, so listen up wherever you two lovebirds are you need to come back ASAP."
Forgetting the butterflies and my thumping heartbeat, I raised an eyebrows, Asking what's wrong.
"Why what's wrong?"
"Bi jaan!" Mina sighed loudly, "She's wide awake!"
Farhan frowned, "What? But why?"
"Indigestion! She got acidity and she is walking in the backyard, near the garage of the back gate from where you both went."
"So-so tell her to walk in the front garden." Farhan states obvious,
"You know Bi jaan, she's number one stubborn and she likes the backyard only, listen Ican stall her for few time, till then you have to reach here. Please make my plan succeed."
"Okay we are coming." Farhan sighed, shaking his head,
"Yeah, thanks and Seaside late night date not bad romeo." She chuckles teasingly,
"How did you- obviously you heard the waves, shut up we are reaching." Farhan grumbled before he hung up.
Farhan looked at me and a weird zing passed through me so I looked away and he cleared his throat.
"I guess our late night adventure ends here." He says, tapping his knees,
"For the time being." I added.
He chuckles and stands from the rock and helps me get up, I look at the hill again and whined, "Please not this hill."
"Well come on, I could not bring a chopper here for you right now, so we have to." He grabbed my hand and starts walking up the rocks with my stumbling self,
After several times of me shrieking thinking, I am falling down in the sea and Farhan reassuring me and helping me, we finally climbed back the rocks and reach the benches.
"So you were going to bring me here in the afternoon?" I asked as we walked towards the bike,
"Originally no, I was going to take you to meet Bilal and hajra and then a nice lunch, that was my plan but bi jaan had other plans." Removing the stand he mounted the bike and put the keys in the ignition,
"So you decided that we will sneak out at night, with the help of mina?" I ask wearing my helmet,
"After bribing her, yes." He chuckled and signalled me to climb the bike.
"Well I am glad it happened," I mounted the bike resting my hands on his shoulders and continued, "Because I liked this plan better."
Our gaze met at the side view mirror of the bike as he said, "I am honoured."
My phone pinged with a new message, so I took it out as Farhan wore his helmet,
Shaking my head I showed him mina's message which she send me,
Traced your both's location, it will take nearly ten or fifteen minutes to reach home, so I am taking Bi jaan out in the front garden in the last five minutes, come fast you two. It's my first mission as a future CIA officer We will, no we have to make this work. (ï¿£^ï¿£)ã
"Mina," he sighed and I chuckled pocketing my phone,
"Tea after we reach home?" I asked gazing at the blurring sea shore as Farhan started riding the bike,
"Is that even an question?"
I chuckled wrapping my arms around his torso and resting my head on his shoulder, with three words and eight letters on the tip of my tongue.
