CHAPTER 43- ROAD TRIP~ Ayesha💕
Met by Destiny
A Y E S H A :-
"So is that all?" Farhan asks holding up the trunk of his car,
"Yeah, all our suitcases are in, we are good to go." I say checking our four suitcases.
"Great." He mutters closing the trunk of the car. "I hope it might be sufficient for days."
I raise an eyebrow, before I could give a remark, we heard baba, "Alright, we are all set in, what about you both?" Baba jaan asks walking towards us, wiping his sunglasses with his coat and wearing it.
"All good, baba." Farhan replies, "We will leave after your car."
Yes it happened, Farhan finally caved in his pettiness. He said he his accepting the invitation, to show them the difference between our family and them. Also to see what they wanted from us,
But deep down he didn't wanted too, he's doing it because of bi jaan, and mama. Few days ago we heard bi jaan crying on the phone to my baba, about how her two daughters don't meet each other or even talk.
Farhan is just a big softie from inside.
"Bi jaan and mama are all set in?" Farhan asks baba and no nods, "Alright, I will have a word with the driver about the routes." He says before walking towards the white Land Rover parked beside his white Audi.
"Baba jaan?" I ask, "Do you and your son have a obsession having all black and all white cars?"
He laughs heartedly, "Yes, we totally do. He challenged me with an all black cars, because I always liked my cars, pristine white." He says leaning against the Audi's hood.
I shook my head laughing, "You sure, you don't want Mina to travel with us?"
"Oh no no," he denies, "There is a reason we are taking the seven seater, besides I will bored in no time hearing my mother in law's snores, and my wife's zero attention. atleast I can have a nice chat with Mina. Oh and she has an amazing playlist."
"So you could play and disturb saso-mom?" I chuckle.
"Whatever you said." Baba shrugs, "Anyway we have our plan B ready, right?"
"All set." I gave him a thumbs up.
Baba and me had a talk, if things go totally down in Durrani house, we don't leave directly, baba have a friend over there, who has this amazing sea- facing holiday villa where we can spend few days over there. No one's mood is going to waste, and we all could have a nice family vacation in Izmir.
Mina heard it by mistake, and that girl is praying for something happen, little did she know, we are going to go there regardless.
"I don't understand why are we even going there?" Baba jaan sighs looking at Farhan, who was asking for the routes to the driver on his phone.
"Farhan says it's his pettiness, but he is doing it for Bi jaan." I say shaking my head.
"Your husband is a teddy bear, I tell you." Baba chuckles, "But I love my little teddy."
I laugh with him, me too baba jaan me too.
"Aloha, people!" We heard Mina's voice, turning around we see, Mina wearing a straw hat, which totally did not contrast with her large teddy coat.
"Oh there's my other teddy." Baba says, "Quite literally."
Farhan glances at her, pocketing his phone. "Mina are you confused about the weather?"
"It's my style." Mina replies, wearing her sunglasses.
"Alright Minu, let's go, we are already late." Baba jaan says clapping. "Saso mom and Mina's mom all set in?" He asks,
Mama shakes her head walking towards the car, "Yes junaid, only you are making us late right now." She says placing the house keys in her bag.
"I cannot hear Saso- mom?" Baba says nearing the car, "Dang it, she slept already?"
"Yes baba, now get in, we are getting late." Mina says getting inside the car and going on the last seat. Farhan folds back the seat and mama sits in.
After a while everyone is seated and checking the house one last time, me and Farhan leave in our car, following them.
One hour later, we are on the highway and I am already bored.
I kicked out my shoes and fold up my legs after reclining my seat back.
"Farhan I am bored." I sigh, feeling really bored.
"Then put on some music." He replies, concentrating on driving.
"Not in a mood." I pout and reach out for the snacks bag on the backseat and take out some hello panda biscuits.
I take one and move my hand forward to Farhan's mouth. He opens it mindlessly and chews the biscuit.
He hums nodding his head, "This biscuits still tastes so good."
"Uhm, evergreen." I reply, few minutes later, I finished them too.
"I am bored again." I sigh, leaning back on my seat.
"Sleep for a while." Farhan says, tapping on the steering wheel.
"Not sleepy." I mutter distractedly, looking ahead at the road, since the time to reach izmir was four hours on the road, we decided it might be fun.
But now I am bored, because the passenger with me does not want to talk and just drive quietly.
"If you are tired, tell me. I will drive." I say to Farhan.
"No it's alright, I will manage, besides I don't think you have the judgement of driving on a highway, so sit back and relax." He replies.
"Are you questioning my driving skills?" I scoff,
"Absolutely not. I don't want to be on the bad sides of the feminist party. It's just um I.." he thinks for a term,
I sigh, "Just say you want to drive."
He chuckles, "Right."
"When are your parents reaching there?" Farhan asks, looking at the road ahead.
"Murat said they will be there tomorrow morning." I reply, "They canceled the road trip, they are coming by flight."
"That's nice, I even wanted mama, baba and bi jaan to travel by air, but baba has this weird adventure plan." Farhan says,
Only did you know, Teddy.
"What is happening here?" Farhan mutters distracted looking at the google maps, which showed a long red line on the road ahead.
"Ah uh," I mumble, "Traffic on highway? Did something happen?"
Before Farhan could answer, the screen of the car, showed baba jaan calling us, picking up baba jaan voice says,
"Farhan there is a accident ahead on the road, our driver is saying that if we take a right and then left from there, it is a short cut, we can reach ahead on the road."
"Alright baba, send me your live location, we will keep following you." Farhan replies.
Taking a right turn from the highway, which lead to a relatively silent road, I relaxed a bit when I saw a familiar Land Rover in front of us.
It was getting dark now, this side of the highway, the short cut we are following does not have much light source on the road.
"So," I began, "I have a confession to make." I say sitting up straighter.
"Which is?" Farhan asks glancing at me.
"The day I went to my parents house, before we left for airport?" I began and he nods, "That I told baba and Murat about my um past with Danish."
I bit my lip looking down at my shaking leg.
"After what he did, I did not wanted him to give them any benefit of doubt, so I told them myself."
"Hey," I heard him, his hand reaches out to run my knee soothingly, "It's alright, you said them yourself, there is nothing to be afraid now."
"I know." I say, "But I am just embarrassed about it, my past." I look out of the window,
"Ayesha," he calls out, he pats my leg, "Come on look at me," I look at him, "What did your baba said?"
"He said he didn't have a problem because it was in the past and I realised my mistake." I reply,
"Then what are you afraid of?" He asks,
"I am not afraid, I am ashamed." I say looking down, feeling my nose itch.
"So this amazing person said to be a few days earlier, that it's okay to make mistakes because that's what it makes us human. And I really like it when you are a human." He says patting my knee,
I chuckle, "She sounds amazing."
"She is," he nods, "But the thing is, she doesn't believe on the things she says."
"I am trying to." I say in a small voice.
"And I think that's enough, you don't become a better human in one night, the same way, your guilt doesn't go away in one night too, it takes time, and the outcome is even better, your father did not say anything, he is just proud of you realising your mistake."
I nod, placing my hand on top of his,
"And we did have a conversation for leaving everything in the past, didn't we?" He asks, his fingers tapping on my knee, "Then if I am healing and learning, then so are you. Albeit different situations, but I guess what matters is the presence, for me you are there, and I will always try to be for you."
I chuckle, wiping the corner of my eye, "I am really proud of you for saying that."
"Your welcome." He smiles, "I hope you are not bored now."
I place my head on his arm, "Absolutely not." I reply playing with his fingers, which was on top of my knee.
When I look ahead at the road, I frown sitting straighter,
"Uh, Farhan did we lost the direction?"
Because baba's car wasn't in front of us.
"I think I missed an exit." Farhan says looking at the maps, "And the maps are glitching."
We were reaching an intersection, I looked at the map which kept relocating because of the loss of network.
"So is it left or right?" I ask,
"I think baba told right, right?" Farhan asks unsurely,
"Yes, I think he said right and left." I confirm, "I think we are going right. But they are not in sight."
"Yes," Farhan says glancing at the dark road ahead, "They might be ahead, we were talking, so I think we went slower, and lost them."
"Could be," I say looking around, "Let's just go straight, highways are always straight."
"Yeah, could be. Let's believe it." Farhan mutters, driving on the uneven road.
I take my phone and frown, "There is no network in this area."
"I hate google maps." Farhan grumbles.
An hour later, we took left, which lead us to another road, more darker than the previous ones.
"It's eight now, we should've been reached by now, where are we?" I mumble, looking ahead at the empty roads, the only light source were our car's headlights.
"Remind me again, why are we travelling in night?" Farhan grumbles.
"Oh look there looks some lights, I think we are going on a city area." I point ahead at the small topes of light,
"Let's hope it is." Farhan mutters, while we were almost near those lights, our car suddenly stopped catching speed and kept bumping along the stones.
I grab my car seat, "Oh no no." I mutter,
"This car better not be breaking right now." Farhan mutters and the car stops abruptly, in the middle of nowhere.
Farhan smacks his steering wheel and removes his seatbelt, "Stay here, let me check what happened." He says getting out of the car.
I watch him as he steps out and opens his phone's flash, he looks at the tire and then rounds the car to check the other one,
I roll down my window, "What's wrong?"
"Front tires are busted." He says flashing the lights on them, "I think we just came from a new road, there is asphalt on them."
I open my door and climb out, "Oh god, do you extra tires?"
"Only one." He replies, "And I don't think we can drive with one new and one damaged tires."
I squat to inspect the tires, "Can't we try to remove it?"
"I don't think we can, even if we did, we need new tires, they might've melted." He replies.
"What now?" I ask anxiously, getting up and looked around us,
"Let's walk further, we might find mechanic, hopefully." Farhan says looking ahead, "Take your handbag with you. Let me grab my wallet too."
I take my handbag and Farhan locks the car, "Let's just find someone and try to leave from
here."
I nod, grabbing his hand and walking ahead on the silent road, with only light source being our phone's flashlights.
On our right, there were just a vast land of trees surrounding it, making it more creepy,
"How long have we been walking?"
Farhan asks, looking at the road ahead, "My phone's battery is about to die and the road seems never ending."
"Where are the lights now?" I asks looking around us, not looking down, I almost trip down on something,
"Careful," Farhan steadies me,
"What was that?" I ask horrified feeling a hard object under my foot,
He flashes light over it, and I frown looking at a, trap? "What is that?"
"Oh no," Farhan says, "I think it's a animal trap. You didn't got hurt, did you?" He asks looking at my feet,
"No, I just tripped over it." I assure him, "But what is it doing here?"
Farhan looks at the trees and back on the empty road, "I think this a forest."
I could feel the blood draining from my face, "A forest?"
"Yeah," he nods, "A hunting forest. You know what means?" He snaps his fingers.
"That we are going to die?" I mutter dreadfully,
"What? No." Farhan flashes the light on my face, "It means there might be a hunters hut. We could atleast spend the night over there."
"Oh," I look ahead, trying to be relieved, "There is such a thing?"
"Yes, now let's go." Farhan says grabbing my hand, "Also give me your phone, mine's about to die." I nod giving him my phone.
"There are your lights," he points at the lamp post near the lines of small huts, they all seemed empty, and dark and creepy. "Let's just take one of these."
I grab his arm, stopping him, "Do we really have to?"
"Ayesha," he says turning around, "We have no option. If we kept in this dark forest, we might be walking till sunrise, this is the best option. Besides they all look empty, let's spend the night here, and in morning we'll find something."
I nod unsurely and followed him to one of the little huts, upon reaching the door, we found it was locked, Farhan found a small plant pot and took a key from underneath it,
"You seem awfully trained about it." I say stepping inside the small hut,
"Survival instincts," Farhan says finding a light lamp, "Here help me out." I hold the flash for him, while he finds a bottle of kerosine and lights up the lamp with his lighter.
Hanging up the lamp in the corner, he found another one and hung it in another corner too, know that there is enough light, I look around the small hut and found one small mattress and an really old floor sofa in one corner and a few kitchen supplies in one.
There was metal fire place, with few skewers and a small shovel beside them.
"It's really cold in here," I shiver, tightening my coat around me.
"Yeah, give me a moment." He says walking towards the small fireplace, "We need some woods." He says getting up and points at the door, "I will be right back, stay here."
I look around the hut and immediately shook my head, "No. I will come with you."
"No need of it, there are trees nearby, I am sure we would get some woods easily, I will be quick." Farhan says assuring me.
"I can help you too." I say determinedly, "I'd rather help than staying here in this creepy place."
Farhan sighs in defeat, "Fine, let's go." He says picking up an axe beside the fire place.
I follow him out, we walk towards the back side of the hut, where there was a half cutter tree laid down,
"Half the work is done here." I point out.
He picks a few block of woods and places it vertically, before picking up the axe and cuts the wood, right in the middle.
"I am starting to think you are a hunter as a side business." I say leaning against the large tree trunk.
"I would love that." Farhan chuckles, before cutting down another block of wood, "Here take these and start arranging them, I will pick a few branches too." Farhan says picking up a few blocks and holds it out to me, I bring my arms forward to grab them, but he inches back,
"You sure you could carry this? Won't your new pink coat get ruined?" He teases.
I squint my eyes, "It will be better than to die in cold, now give it to me." He deposits the woods in my hand and I stumble back, who knew woods could be so heavy.
"Is it heavy?" I heard him asking as I turn around to walk towards our hut,
"Nothing I could handle," I call out, huffing a breath, at the same time, a block slip off my arms, "I will get that later." I mutter,
Somehow, I managed to walk inside without loosing another block and shove it inside the metal box.
Farhan brings in my one lost block and a handful branches, and take sprinklers some kerosene on it, before lighting up one branch with his lighter, and throws it inside the metal box.
Few minutes later, Farhan closes the door and removes his coat, as the fire increases, spreading it's warmth in the small hut.
"How are we going to contact mama and baba?" I ask removing my coat, "They might get worried."
"They won't." He replies taking a seat beside me on the floor sofa, "I kind of told baba that I am going take my car from a longer route for a nice long drive for us."
I raise my eyebrows, "But we were following them,"
"I was going to change routes after our short cut but.." he gestures at the hut,
"But lost the whole direction instead." I chuckle, removing my hijab and kept it on the mattress on which I placed our coats.
"What are going to eat? I am hungry." I say smoothing out my hair, adjusting my ponytail.
"I think I have one hello panda with me." Farhan says gesturing at his coat.
I chuckle, "You sneaked one hello panda?"
"I really like it okay." He defended. "But I don't think it will be enough for dinner."
"True." I mutter getting up and look at the racks in the corner, I pick up a container, "We have few biscuits." Looking beside it, I picked up the container and turn towards Farhan, "And we have macroni, a raw one."
"And?" He asks, leaning back on the sofa,
"And.." I turn back to inspect the racks and look back at the cabinets, "and few nuts with ants in it." I shiver in disgust, "And I think there is an empty bottle of wine."
"Biscuits it is then." Farhan nods, I keep the macroni container back and walk to my husband, I keep the biscuits container between us, and lean over to grab the hello panda from Farhan's coat and a water bottle from mine.
"Aha, water?" He raises his eyebrows.
"You could never be sure if you are walking in a jungle." I look out of the small window, more like a ventilator and gestured outside, "Oh and it's snowing too."
"What could go wrong, right?" Farhan shakes his opening the hello panda, and keeping it between us.
Finishing our little dinner, we took small sips of the water and decided to save it till the morning.
I think it's been now more than an hour that we sat in silence, staring at the sparks of fire from the fire box.
"Life is nothing without phones, right?" I say looking at my phone, which had only fifteen percent battery left.
Farhan nods, tapping his feet on the wooden floor.
"Talk something." I shook his shoulder, "We can't just spend the night like this."
"What should I talk?" He asks, "You tell me."
"How about.." I think for a while, "Twenty questions?"
"Okay." He agrees, "Whatever might help me from this silence." He turns towards me.
"Alright," I clap my hands, "Let's start, favourite colour?"
"Black. Now you, so favourite thing to do?"
"Reading and cooking." I reply, "Someone you.... remember from childhood?"
He think for a while, "Childhood?" His eyes glimmer with mischief, "Okay so I remember this one girl I saw one time.."
"Go on." I give a tight lipped smile,
"She was I guess...fifteen or sixteen that time," he begins, "What I remember about her was her big pink glass frame."
"Pink?" I mumble confused,
"Yes, she was really chubby that time, oh and she didn't talked much, and stayed glued to her mother all the time. I found her really weird." He says biting his lips.
I bit back a smile and raised my eyebrows, "Aha, now did she?" I chuckle, "Now your question,"
"Someone who you remember from your childhood." He asks,
"Yes, there was one boy," I say excitedly, "He was a few years older than me, probably twenty or twenty one at that time, he was so creepy and cringe I tell you."
He mocks raising his eyebrows, "I bet he was charming."
I shrug shaking my head, "Meh, he was just average."
I continue teasing him, "He used to make fun of me all the time, he even asked if I had a tongue or not."
"Disrespectful." Farhan tuts.
"I know right, he even made fun of me when I opened my hair." I say rolling my eyes,
He stares at me for a while and leaned closer until his breath fell on my ear,
"He likes it now." He says before pulling off my hair band, letting my hair fall free.
He moves back with a sly grin, and wears my hair band on his wrist.
I move my hair back, flustered by him, he easily does that.
"You know the girl didn't liked my plain face," he says pointing at his jaw, "Got this beard for her."
I smile leaning forward, "She likes it now."
He chuckles, "I hope so."
"We were playing a game, right?" I say moving back before he could lean any forward.
"It was my turn," I think for while, before snapping my fingers, "Okay your um latest obsession?"
He smirks, "Doing this," before I could ask what, he leans forward, sliding his hand across my jaw, and brings me closer to him.
I smile when our lips touch together, this feeling will never get old for me, it's like his touch is enough to ignite fire in my bones, and calm my soul.
My hands slid across his face to the back of his neck, I comb my fingers through his hairs and he lets out a grunt,
Still with his lips on mine, he starts leaning forward, making me lay down on the flat sofa,
He balances his hands on either sides of my face and moves his lips against mine, I comb my fingers through his hairs, pulling him closer to me, feeling the fire igniting in me.
We moved apart abruptly when there was a constant thudding sound on the wall beside us,
"What is that?" I ask, my breath uneven.
"Probably some animal." Farhan mumbles distractedly leaning down to kiss me again,
I hum distracted by him and his touch, when my eyes shot open abruptly, I sat up suddenly knocking Farhan with my elbow, accidentally.
"Ow," Farhan mutters holding his cheek, "What was that?"
"I am sorry but did you just said an animal?" I ask horrified.
"Yes," he grunts, "It's forest, a jungle, there are animals everywhere, you don't expect to see fairies around."
"But there is one, right outside us." I screech moving away from the couch when the thudding continues, "It could be a wolf!"
"Why would a wolf knock on a wall? He doesn't needs sugar." Farhan scoffs getting up from the floor, wearing his boots.
"But he needs meat. Our meat." I cry out, "Where are you going?"
"To ask the wolf what he needs, some chillies or some salt." He mocks picking up his coats.
"No," I grab his arm, "I won't let you go." I stand up and block his way.
He blinks down at me, "Ayesha, you need to relax." He grabs my shoulders, moving me aside, "I am not going on a war, I will just check what it is, so that we could ki- I mean sleep easily."
I pick up the axe, "Take this with you." I shove it to him.
He places it back before opening the door and stepping outside, I kept my hold on the axe tightly, in case he might need my help.
"Aha," I heard Farhan, and I rush out in panic with an axe in my hand,
"What is it?" I ask frantically looking around,
"It was just a big rat," he looks at me, "Ayesha what are you doing?"
"Just a big rat?" I screech, dropping the axe down accidentally. "What are you doing there, come inside." I grab his collar and dragged him to our hut. Locking the door behind me.
I took the sheets off the mattress and stuff it down the space below the door.
"What if it was making it's way inside?" I gasp looking at the floor sofa.
"It won't." Farhan says, "It ran away hearing my footsteps, they come out in silence."
"If we sleep, what if it comes in then?" I ask worriedly.
"It won't, I promise." He says making me sit on the mattress, "Lay down here and sleep for a while."
"If the rat-" he cuts me off, pushing me down on the mattress,
"Nothing is going to happen, I will be here, I will stay awake, alright." He says sitting on the floor sofa, adjacent to me,
"Promise?" I ask, biting my lips, he nods his caressing my face.
I grab his hand and lay on it, "Don't let that rat get in."
"I won't." He replies, massaging my forehead.
In no time, when he kept combing my hairs and grabbed my hand, I felt asleep.
***
We were walking on those roads again, except it was now morning and we were now really desperate to find someone to fix our car.
As promised, my dear husband stayed up the whole night, sitting beside me while I slept on his hand and he kept playing with my hairs,
In morning, almost near four thirty, I woke up to see Farhan's head lulling back to sleep, but he shook his head and stayed awake, realising I slept on his hand, I kept apologising to him.
He waved me off saying it was alright when I know, his hand might be sore.
We waited there till the sunrise, when the first ray of morning fell on our hut, me and Farhan got out of there, taking our belonging and making a run towards the woods, to wherever we might find something.
Before leaving, Farhan left a few notes on top of the fireplace and we also burned off the lamps and fireplace.
"That looks like a gas station!" I exclaim, pointing at the faint outline of a car near the petrol pump, through the morning mist surrounding us.
"Seems like one, let's go." Farhan says running after me, "Hey slow down, wait for me."
"Catch up!" I call out, running down the woods, through the chirping of birds in the early hour, the sound of dry leaves crunching under our boots were heard.
We slowed down when we reached the gas station, we both enter the small store and immediately told the man behind the counter about our situation, he informed us that his son is mechanic and can help fixing our car, Farhan told him about our car's location and my eyes widen when he said it was nearly four kilometres from here.
I couldn't believe we walked that much last night, after the man send his son to repair our car, Farhan charged his phone while we picked up something for us to eat.
We sat on the bench outside the gas station, enjoying our little breakfast,
"You did not slept the whole night, so I am going to drive now." I say eating the last bite of my bagel.
"I am perfectly capable of doing that." Farhan says shaking his head.
"You are not. And you are not going to argue with me on that. Besides." I hold up my finger, "I already the found the exit, look." I point at the road ahead of us, with a sigh which read 'Highway'
"Oh and the boy is here, let's go." I say grabbing his arm and dragging him to the gas station again,
"Here is your key sir," he says passing us the keys, "I actually can't drive, that's why I couldn't bring your car here, sorry."
"Then how did you get there?" I ask, he turns around and gestures at his blue cycle.
"It's no problem, here." Farhan pays the boy, "We'll just walk there."
"Walk?" I mutter dreadfully. "Why?"
"Alright, sit here I will bring the car." Farhan says pointing at the bench, "Your phone is charged now, I will be back."
"No," I say, "You can't leave me alone."
"You will not be alone, you can sit inside the shop, the old man seemed nice." He says grabbing my hand,
"I know he is nice and my phone is charged but couldn't we go on that," I point at the cycle,
"What about it?" He raises an eyebrow,
I smack my forehead, "Hey osman!" I call out the boy, he turns around after filling petrol in a car, "Do you mind if we take your cycle? We will drop it on our way out!"
"It's alright, I will pick it up later!" He calls out giving me a thumbs up.
"What? That cycle? Alright, I will do that but where are you going to sit? The back stand seems uncomfortable." Farhan says, "Unless you want me to sit on that back stand."
"I don't even know how to drive a cycle." I say, walking towards the cycle. "You are going to," I grin happily, patting at the seat.
"And you?" Farhan asks nearing the cycle.
"Take your seat first," I command, he shakes his head before mounting the cycle.
"Good? Now what about you?" He asks, I deposit my handbag on the front basket of the cycle.
"Scoot a little," I say moving his arm, and smooth down my coat before sitting sideways on the front stand. "This is what I was talking about," I pat his cheek.
"God you're so cheesy." Farhan mutters before he started peddling the cycle.
"TeÅekkür ederim Osman!" I call out one last time before we wheel off from the gas station.
"It is already so fun." I gush, looking at the empty road ahead,
"Because you are not peddling, that's why." Farhan huffs.
"That's why I am compensating for driving." I say and patted his thigh. "Oh where is your phone?" I turn around to look at him.
"Careful!" Farhan calls out as the cycle sways, "It's in my coat's pocket."
I move my hand to his coat and take out his phone, opening the front camera, I take a few selfies of us,
"Look over here a second," I say placing my hand on his cheek, and kept clicking our pictures.
I looked up at him, he had a small grin on his face, as he looked ahead on the road,
Grinning I moved forward and placed a kiss on his cheek, and clicked a picture of us.
The cycle swayed and I held the front bars, "Careful, Farhan!" I mock him.
"Oh you are going to pay for it." He mutters before speeding up the peddling,
"Okay," I giggle holding on the front bars, "I am sorry, slow down."
"What?" He laughs, "Can't hear you."
"Oh my god." I screech when he speed up down the slope of the road. Our laughs echoing around the empty road,
Soon enough we reached our now repaired car which was on the same spot, getting off the cycle we kept the cycle near a small booth which seemed empty and I rush towards the driver's seat before he could.
"Get in there," I say excitedly tapping on the steering wheel as Farhan gets in the seat beside me. "You are about to have the best ride of your life."
"I hope so," he mutters buckling up his seat belt.
Starting the ignition of the car, I drove off from the road and drive through the road which I saw in front of the gas station and waved at Osman at our way out.
Thirty minutes on the road, I point at the woods beside, "Turns out we took the wrong exit."
"Probably," Farhan says setting up the google maps with his phone.
"Lay down and relax, I am a good driver." I say to Farhan, looking at the maps, "Google will help me, you can lay down and sleep a bit. Don't worry about being the passenger princess too." I chuckle.
"Alright." Farhan mutters, wearing his sunglasses and reclines his seat back, "Good night."
I chuckle looking at the road ahead, "Good night."
I felt my right hand which was on the handle beside me, being grabbed before I felt a kiss on it.
"Thank you." Farhan mutters caressing my knuckles, still laid down on the seat.
"Anything for you." I give his hand a little squeeze before looking ahead on the road to Izmir.
Waiting for our adventures over there, but I know nothing could be difficult when I have my husband by my side.

They don't make men like Farhan anymore ð
Anywhoooo
How are we liking the story and our little trip ???
I had to change the location of Safina khala's house from Antalya to Izmir because when I googled the time to reach from Istanbul to Antalya it said 8 hours.
I don't think it would realistic for bi jaan and Farhan's parents drive for this long so the location change.
