Chapter 154
Falling for My Contractual Wife
Brian sneered and turned on the air conditioner. The onlookers outside dispersed. He suddenly reached out and pinched her chin.
âAm I wrong? Vanity woman.â
Grace slapped his hand away fiercely. âMy vanity has nothing to do with you.â
Brian was furious about her reckless spending of his money and made it clear that his anger was not driven by personal vanity but solely by the misuse of his finances.
He was the one who gave her the card. He had indeed bullied her that night. Brian could not explain himself.
âIâve never seen such a shameless woman like you.â
âMr. Brian, if you want to buy a car, please go to the exhibition hall. If youâre just here to tell me this, Iâll leave first.â
âI asked you to get into the car for a test ride. Who allowed you to leave?â Brian stared at her.
She was always thinking about staying away from him, which made him feel very uncomfortable!
Grace took a deep breath and leaned back in his chair, looking like he was lying flat.
âHowâs the coâpilot comfort?â
âMr. Brian, this carâs seat adjustment function is very strong. The seat is designed with a bucket seat and a hard cushion. Donât expect comfort. Your girlfriend is so delicate. I advise you to buy another car for her.â
Brian tilted his head, gazing at her for a moment before giving a slight nod. âOkay, come with me and stay by my side until I find the perfect car.â
Graze was rendered speechless by Brianâs unreasonable request.
Brian got out of the car without any explanation. Then he grabbed her wrist and roughly pulled her down.
Seeing this, the salesperson came forward. After hearing the reason, he silently glared at Grace and warned her in a low voice, âDonât talk nonsense if you still want your salary.â
It was obvious that Brian was rich. He was not willing to lose such a large client.
He smiled obsequiously and said, âSir, sheâs just a model and doesnât know anything about cars. Donât listen to her nonsense. Let me introduce you. The seats of this car are sports car seats.â
âIs what she said wrong?â Brian suddenly interrupted him coldly.
The salesperson said, âHuh?â
âThe standard seats in the front row are similar to sports seats. Itâs uncomfortable to sit for too long, and itâs not suitable for long distance driving. Your back will ache after driving for an hour. Are you lying through your teeth?â
The salesperson was stunned.
Grace also looked at him in a daze. He actually agreed with what she had just said.
Brian held Graceâs hand and turned to look at the next car.
Grace was stuffed into the passenger seat again. âHow is it?â
Grace felt that he was deliberately causing trouble for her. She should send him away as soon as possible. It had nothing to do with her if he bought a car for Louise.
âThis chair has a massage. Itâs very functional and comfortable. Your girlfriend will definitely like it.â
Brian turned his head to look at her and sneered.
âWhatâs wrong? Are you very impatient? Am I disturbing you from fishing for a rich husband?â
Grace frowned. âWhat are you talking about?â
Emergency calls only âDid I say something wrong? Dressed like that, arenât you just trying to attract a wealthy person?
Whatâs the matter? You canât get into the Vance family, so now youâre looking for someone else?â
Brianâs remark infuriated Grace, causing his face to flush with anger. âBrian, let me make it clear. I am here to earn my money honestly and legitimately.â
Brian found it amusingly ironic that a woman accustomed to spending hundreds of thousands of dollars daily was now attempting to be a partâtime model at an auto show.
âGrace, even if youâre lying, you have to prepare a draft first. Whatâs there to be embarrassed about in front of me?â
