Brian frowned even more tightly after he heard Avaâs request.
Ava was afraid that Brian would reject her straightly. Thus, she hurriedly explained, âI have never been to Yuthouburg, sol want to go abroad and open my eyes to see the world. I promise I wonât cause you any trouble. I will go sightseeing in the city by myself.â
After hearing Avaâs explanation, Brian extinguished his cigarette and replied coldly, âNo!â
Ava put on a long face and asked, âBut why?â
an excuse Brian responded, âNo particular reason. I just donât feel like bringing you along.â He couldnât be bothered to make an when talking to Ava Ava seemed sorrowful, crying, âBrian, you are ruthless!â
Brian felt extremely uncomfortable when he noticed Ava addressed him by his first name. Thus, Brian looked at Ava and reminded her coldly, âAva, Itâs inappropriate for you to address me by my first name.
Donât do that again.â
Ava was shocked at Brianâs words. She looked at him and cried inside, âWhat? Brian even doesnât allow me to call his name?â
Ava asked, âWhy Is It Inappropriate? My parents and sister all call you by your name. Why canât I?â
Brian replied, âFirst, your parents are seniors. Second, Louise is my fiancée. It is reasonable for them to call me like that. However, you are younger than me, and we are not close. Youâd better call me Mr.
Brian.â
Ava bit her lower lip tightly. She was so affected by Brianâs hurtful words that she ran out of Brianâs bedroom.
Brian felt his headache back and frowned.
Suddenly, Brian thought of something. He left the room and went downstairs, thinking, âAvaâs words remind me. I can take Grace with me since the sisters are staying here.â
Brian soon reached Graceâs room. Just before he opened the door, a thought struck him, itâs me. She might rush over and kick me out.â
nit open, Grace will know Who is Therefore, Brian changed his strategy. He raised his hand and knocked on the door.
Grace asked, âWho is it?â However, Brian did not answer it. Seconds later, Grace opened the door Brian took the chance and flipped inside. Then, he locked the door behind him.
Brianâs moves reminded Grace of what Brian had done when he was drunk last time. Thus, Grace covered her chest with her hands and asked alertly, âWhat are you doing here?â
Brian felt annoyed and frowned, asking, âWhat do you mean? What do you think Iâm going to do to you?â
Hearing that, Grace put down her hands. Her room was small, only able to fit a desk, a closet, and a bed. She walked to her bed and sat, asking plainly, âWhat do you want from me?â
100% 13:
Brian pulled the chair under the desk and sat opposite Grace, asking, âIâm going on a business trip tomorrow. Do you want to go with me?â
Grace looked at Brian, puzzled. She seemed not to know why Brian would make that offer.
Brian was shocked to see Graceâs confused expression and said, âTsk. What? You donât want to go with me?â
Grace replied bluntly, âNo, I donâtâ
Brian was shocked and felt silence. Two seconds later, he asked, âWhy?â
Graceâs answer was brief. âBecause I donât want to see you.â
Brian was left speechless, dumbfounded for several seconds. Then, he found the situation somewhat amusing, thinking, âI rejected Ava when she begged me to take her with me.
âI asked if Grace wanted to go with me. She rejected me without thinking, and the reason was that she didnât want to see mer Brian laughed mockingly and asked, âOh, right. Of course, you donât want to be with me. Because you want to see Justin after I leave, donât you?â
Hearing Brianâs words, Grace suddenly looked up and gave Brian a cold stare, cautioning, âBrian, stop being unreasonable!â
Brian suddenly stood up and approached Grace. He looked down at her and asked, âAm I being unreasonable? Do you dare to say you didnât feel sad when you blocked him today?â
Grace found Brian intolerable, thinking. âBrian pushes me into doing things I donât want to do, and on top of that, he wonât even let me be upset. How can such an unreasonable person exist in the world?â
