Melanie's straight for New York University once done with high school, leaving the small town in Alaska she grew up in, as well as all that's in it. Including her best friend, Mattias. To her it's a win for her friend who needs to better his relationship with girlfriend, Dian. It's certainly also a bonus for her. So it's a win-win, isn't it?
