Chapter 50

“Sorry, Carmine,” Winn said. “This one doesn’t have enough space. Can you see my do uche sister snoring in the backseat?”

When Carmine glanced around, she noticed Sloane sleeping with a tiny bit of drool collecting on her l*ps. She was still wearing her night pajamas, and it looked like she was hauled on Winn’s shoulder and tossed in the backseat. The remaining space contained camping gear. As if that wasn’t all, Tusker came to sit in the front seat along with Winn. Leaping to the back, Oz promptly pushed Sloane’s feet down and found his own spot.

She sighed. “I understand…” She trudged on to the next jeep, which was being driven by Colin.

“Carmine!” Colin said with a smile. “How can I help you?”

Carmine clenched her teeth as she saw the jeep packed with cooking gear, Charlie, Flint and Kat. Muttering about camping and annoying Alphas, she made her way to the first jeep where Theo eagerly awaited, a grin plastered on his face.

“Mommy!” Thor chirped from his child seat. “You have finally come to us!”

Carmine nodded tightly as she strapped her seatbelt. She observed that Alpha Theo and Thor were both sporting similar dark shades. Both looked like they were walking out of a mafia movie.

While she was wearing cut-off shorts, Alpha Theo was wearing khaki Bermudas and… no shirt. His tattooed, n*ked chest was in full glory. When her eyes landed on it, his muscles rippled. To conceal her blush, she averted her gaze to the window, praying he didn’t notice the effect his bare chest had on her between her thighs.

Theo flicked his hair back and zoomed the jeep out of the manor. She let out a squeal when he abruptly turned, and even with her seatbelt on, she crashed into him and clutched his upper arm. “Alpha Theo!” she shrieked. “Can you drive carefully?”

“I am careful, baby. There was a boulder on the road I avoided,” he said nonchalantly, his hand resting on her thigh. “Calm down.” There was no boulder. Just a few pebbles.

She took a deep breath in as she settled back in her seat. She noticed his hand on her thigh and expected him to take it off, but nope. Instead, he grabbed her thigh a little more possessively. “Remove it!” she growled. In answer, a growl escaped his l*ps, as if challenging her to remove it/

“Remove what, baby?” he asked as he drove the jeep with one hand, his eyes set on the road.

“Your hand!”

“Oh, if I remove that, my focus will dwindle.”

“How is that?” she asked, bewildered.

“You’ll see,” she shrugged again as his face lit up with another one of his se xy smiles.

“This is ridiculous!”

“Mommy,” Thor sighed. “Can you not throw drama?”

Carmine whipped her head back to glare at her pup. “What?”

Thor shook his head. “I am hungry. Gimme me my donuts!”

Carmine was left with the task of feeding Thor and Theo while they continued their lively conversation throughout the remainder of the journey. At one point of time, Theo argued that since he couldn’t remove his hand from the steering or her thigh, she had to feed him. Angered, she pushed an entire banana into his mouth. He choked a little on it, coughed and said. “Baby, I would love to choke you with my banana in that rosy mouth of yours.”

Carmine blushed hard as her gaze dipped to his shorts where she could see the hard line of his very hard erection..

“Where is your banana, Alpha Theo?” Thor asked as he ate his third donut..

“It is-”

“Shut. Up!” Carmine slapped her hand over Theo’s mouth. When she removed it, he burst into laughter as Thor looked on with confusion.

In five hours, they arrived at Willow Highlands and paused within a clearing. Positioned on a hill, as suggested by its name, the location boasted numerous willow trees gently swaying in the refreshing breeze. To the east, a valley emanated the soothing scent of swaying in the refreshing b lavender.

It was already 7PM. Winn got down along with his wolves. They removed rocks, branches, and debris from the ground. Once they unloaded the equipment from the jeep, they assembled a tent for their Alpha first and trussed it to the ground. Additional tents were set up with enough space between them to maintain privacy and safety. Flint and his team of girls set up their tents at a distance.

As Winn was fitting his tent, Carmine approached him and said, “I need a favor. Can you help?”

He raised his eyebrow. “I hope everything is fine.”

She fidgeted with her fingers nervously. “Can you help me call Alpha Kade here? This place is very close to the Blue Moon pack, and I can finish up with my initiation. ceremony here.”

Chapter 30

“Oh!” Winn grinned. “Sure, I can.”

Carmine’s eyes widened. She didn’t expect him to agree with her so fast. “Thanks! Can you call him tomorrow?”

“We’ll see,” he replied.

“Thanks again, Winn.”

“My pleasure, Carmine.” With that, he walked to his sister, who was struggling to keep the flap out of her hair.

Carmine made his way to the tent where Thor was once all the tents were up. As soon as she entered, she found Una and Kat engrossed in a game of One Night Werewolf with Thor, taking up most of the room. As if that wasn’t enough, Oz came to join them. She came out, teeth grinding, to search for a vacant tent. She found it just a few feet away. Relieved, she placed her things in it and quickly changed her sweaty shirt.

From inside, she heard Alpha Theo talking to his wolves as they sipped beer. Smell of meat roasting on the grill wafted in the air. A smile crept on her l*ps inadvertently.

Carmine came out to help Flint grill the meat. She saw Charlie, who was stealing. glances at her. She couldn’t fig ure out where she had seen her before. When her traveled to Alpha Theo, she found him staring at her intensely, hardly talking to his men. She let out a rough exhale and looked away because she would not let her shields down now. Her b*dy said something else, though, because her cli t thrummed with need. What was it that this wolf had that made her dizzy?

It was 11PM when all of them had fo o d. Oz had made a bonfire in the middle of all the tents where the girls were dancing as they drank while the men joined them. Sloane pulled Carmine to dance with her, but the moment she stu ck h er as s in her palms, Alpha Theo shot out of his chair and pulled Carmine to him. Before she could fall, he swiftly grabbed her by the hips as she slammed into his chest.

“What the hell!”

He ground his shaft in her belly and said, “I would like to dance with you.” Then he looked at Sloane and growled. “This car is mine!” His breath reeked of alcohol.

Sloane laughed quietly and turned her face away as Carmine flushed. “The hell! Exactly how drunk are you?”

“Enough to dance with you.” He wedged his thigh between her legs, dipped her and swirled her slowly. “I dance better than any of these wolves,” he preened.

She rolled her eyes. “I am sleepy. Let me go.”

Chapter 50

“I’ll let you go after this dance”

The so-called dance ended with him holding her tightly against his chest as he swayed minimally. When the song ended, she removed herself from him and walked to Thor’s tent. He saw her walking in her cut-off shorts, from which the lower swells of her hips. j ig gled as she moved. “F uck!” Despite everyone out there, he rubbed his erection and went after her. However, the moment he reached there, she spun towards him and placed her hand on his chest.

“Please go to your tent. Thor is sleeping.”

His chest vibrated with a snarl, but she pulled the flap down on his face, forcing him to leave. However, the moment she settled in the tent, she realized her things were in a different tent and there was only one sleeping bag in Thor’s tent.
