Who was this 'she' Dorian had told me about, my mind begins to reel with the possibilities.

"Sorry I shouldn't have gone in there..." Emery says.

My eyes move up to hers, "yeah you could've told me" I reply as we walk down the dirt road trying to understand what had just happened.

When Emery stops her eyes beginning to glaze over, mind link Jasper had told me that was how werewolves in a pack communicated when not physically next to one another.

Emery snaps out of her daze and grabs my arm quickly before telling me that I'll have to jump on her back when she shifts. It happens so fast one moment she's a human then she's a furry wolf staring up at me, I nod and pull myself up onto her back. Emery takes off running towards the direction of Jasper's castle.

We arrive here in a matter of minutes as soon as she stepped over the borders Jasper was there and I was in his arms. He began whispering sweet nothings in my ear, it calmed me down but then I remembered how we had many more problems to take care of.

"Are you mad?" I whisper into Jasper's ear as he listened to Emery explain how everything happened. Avery had joined us in the room a couple of minutes after we got in. Jasper just shakes his head in response.

"Does anyone know who the 'she' is?" Avery speaks up after Emery finishes explaining what had happened.

We all shake our heads, "could be anyone," Jasper says using one free hand to rake a hand through his hair.

"Could this new threat potentially be after us now since we broke the pact?" Emery says in a whisper.

I knew she felt so guilty about what had happened with the vampires and that she had put the pack in danger.

"She could very well be a threat yas..." Jasper stops and looks to the ground in thought, "I guess we'll have to wait for them to attack first."

And with that, he ends this conversation dismissing both Avery and Emery. He stands picking me up along with him since I was sitting on his lap. He turns me around to face him, a second later I find my mouth flush against his as we move in sync.

One hand moves up to the top of my back to push me closer to him while the other holds me by the waist. I kiss him slow and he growls in anticipation. I know what he wants it's quite obvious at times but I stop myself from completing the mating bond just yet... make him suffer awhile longer.

My hands fly up to tangle in his dark brown hair, he leaves the room we currently are standing in and moves to the bedroom. He drops me onto the bed and crawls over me lowering his head and resting it on my chest.

My eyes widen and I stare at him as he keeps it there, "Jasper?" I ask.

"Mhm?" He mumbles back.

"What.. are you doing?"  I ask yet another question.

"Just listening, to your heart... I like the sound of it speeding up and slowing down because I know that it only does that for me and no one else" he finishes.

My insides flutter and I cup both his cheeks and pull his face up to mine kissing him slow loving the sparks and the feeling.

I wake up in pitch darkness, I don't remember falling asleep but I guess I must have. I am confused as to why it's so dark it's never this dark in the packhouse.

I sit up and stretch and remember Jasper, he isn't next to me. I feel around on the bed and realise no one is next to me. I pull up the sheets and run towards the only source of light a little sliver behind large red curtains... Wait red curtains?

I stand in front of them and quickly pull them open,  bright light shines into the room illuminating it. I spin around and gasp, I quickly notice that this isn't our room or any room in the packhouse.

Panic builds up inside me and I run to the door, I jiggle the nob and pull trying to open the door. It won't budge, I groan and try again kicking the door slightly this time.

Out of breath and stumble back over to the bed and slump down resting my head on my hands.

"So I take it you're giving up?" A voice says coming from the dark corner of the room.

I look up and watch as no one other than Mordecai walks out with a slim smile spread across his face.

"What am I doing here?" I ask.

"Later. For now, let's have some fun" he grins evilly and walks menacingly towards me.

"N..o stay over th..ere" I stutter backing off the bed over to the opposite wall.

"Running won't help... you just look soo delicious I can't resist"  he smirks, "and that's a compliment, I don't bite just anyone" he chuckles then in the blink of an eye he'd standing in front of me with that same menacing smile on his face.

I swallow and look away, his head comes down to smell my neck, he licks the crook of my neck and it sends shivers down my spine.

"You're also an alpha's mate... even better" he smiles and I see his fangs.

His mouth crashes onto mine before I can look away he has me on his hold both his arms come up and cage me into an embrace. One strong arm squeezes against my waist the other cups my cheek with harsh intensity.

I squirm trying to get out of his grasp, I think quickly and bite his lip as well has to bring my knee up to kick where the sun doesn't shine. He backs away slightly smiling at me his lip bleeding down his chin.

"Very good darling" he smiles using one finger to wipe away the blood dripping down, "when I'm done with you you'll love the taste."

I scoff and roll my eyes, "I'd never become one of you."

"You don't have a choice in the matter darling I'm stronger than you in every way"

"If you were to turn my then my mate and his pack would never stop until every last vampire in this house is dead" I spit and anger fills me.

It's his turn to scoff as he speeds over to me his fangs in clear view as he brings them down to hover over my neck, "this might hurt just a little" he lowers them in utterly slow as if he's showing me that he has power over me and there isn't anything I can do.

"I would stop there Mordecai," a female voice says from the doorway, and from the reaction of Mordecai I assume she's the one they should all be afraid of. "Now, step away from her and go clean yourself up you're disgusting," she says, her voice hits a chord and I recognize it like a lost memory.

"Yas Lady Cain" he backs away his eyes swimming with emotion his mouth set into a hard line. His eyes glaze over me before he turns and walks past the dark figure at the door. He doesn't spare her a glance before disappearing behind the door.

Then we're left in silence, she doesn't move and I don't either,

I stand waiting.

"So... it's been a while" she says as she walks away from the dark and I see someone who I thought was long gone, her beauty is truly amazing I take her in and realize she hasn't aged at all.

"M..Mom?"

I hoped you liked the steamy parts with Jasper and also it might have been slow and boring but a lot of need to know things were said in this chapter.
