Bree's POV.

"It's perfect!" the client, Ms. Evans squeals looking at the dress hugging her body. Finally after working on ten designs, she likes her dress and I couldn't be happier. Of course, a woman wouldn't compromise when it comes dresses for her engagement and wedding.

"I'm glad you like it Ms. Evans," I smile at her before she goes back into the dressing room to change back into the clothes she was wearing before and I head back to my office with Stacey right behind me. It was really nice to get back to work and the past two weeks have been hectic because of the work that piled up during the long break that I took.

I take a seat and ask Stacey to sit down for a while too. She's been helping me out a lot with all the work lately and honestly she deserves a break too. "How's your daughter doing?"

Her face lightens up as I talk about her daughter, "She's recovering fast and she's really happy that her friends are visiting her to play with her for a while,"

"I'm really happy for you Stacey," her happiness is evident and honestly I'm glad to see her smiling again. She was devastated with her daughter's condition four months ago.

I walk around my desk and open one of my cabinets to take out the gift I made for Stacey's daughter. "I designed this dress for your daughter Stacey," I tell her handing the gift box for her to open and see, hoping that she'd like it. I don't even know what drove me to make a dress for her or maybe it's just that I'm happy that she fought through the surgeries and is now cured, "You didn't have to Bree,"

"I just wanted to give her this Stacey and seriously I'm just happy that she got through it. She deserves all the happiness and this is just...maybe a small token of love," She smiles widely before hugging me tight. Seriously, I can't even relate the person standing in front of me to the bully I knew back in high school.

"Thank you so much for everything you've done Bree. You did so much for a person who never even treated you like a person back in high school and I regret all those crazy things I've done to you back then,"

"Well we were immature back then," I let out a slight laugh as Stacey releases me from the hug and giggles too. "Couldn't agree more,"

My phone goes off and Stacey excuses herself before I take the call. Aiden's name flashes on my screen making me smile, "Hey there,"

"Can you break for lunch please? I'm really hungry and walking into your office to steal you," I giggle looking at Aiden who walks into my office with a grin. "What is the point of calling Mr. Waters?"

He walks up to me and kisses me, smiling against my lips. "Come on, let's get some food into our systems before I die out of hunger,"

"Okay but let me at least grab my purse and phone," he waits impatiently as I turn off my laptop and settle my stuff. "Let's go now."

He smiles as I say that and we walk out after I ask Stacey to cancel all my appointments if any till next week since Aiden planned to surprise me this weekend.

A blush decorates my face as Aiden nods with a grin on his face. I guess she knows Aiden well since he was a regular customer and she seems like a lovely lady too, "I'll get your order right away,"

"Thank you Della," Aiden thanks her before she leaves us alone once again. "Before you ask me anything, she's a lovely lady and she knows about you,"

A giggle slips past my lips, "You don't have to explain Aiden and I'm glad you had her to talk to,"

My phone vibrates in my hand and I widen my eyes when I realize I forgot to collect my test reports from the hospital, "Something wrong?"

Aiden asks me with worried eyes, "I forgot about the test reports I was supposed to collect today from the hospital,"

"We can just stop by before heading home so stop thinking about it," I nod silently thinking back to the pregnancy test I was asked to take yesterday. I know it's just a general checkup but this time I just can't help worrying about it especially since me and Aiden are still working things out.

"Bree?" Aiden's voice breaks my thoughts and I look at him with a questioning look since I couldn't somehow form my sentences.

"What's bugging that pretty head of yours?" he wraps an arm around my shoulders and I just rest my head on his shoulder.

"It's nothing,"

"That doesn't really sound convincing," rolling my eyes at him, I straighten up to tell him what really is bothering me.

He looks at me expectantly and take a deep breath before speaking, "Yesterday at the hospital I –,"

"Here's your order," Della says with a sweet smile as she places our food on the table while Aiden gets distracted by the sound of food. Luckily. Because I don't really know how he's going to react to the idea of me being pregnant though he asked me about having a baby a while ago.

"Thank you and it smells amazing," She smiles at Aiden's compliment which she's probably used to before leaving us alone to eat.

I devour into the steak letting a slight moan escape my lips at how good it tasted, "I knew you'd like it,"

"Well thanks for getting me here today because now I know where we could get some amazing food every time I want to eat out," Aiden smirks looking at me eating like I didn't eat for two days.

"By the way, you were telling me about what was bothering you so would you like to continue or after lunch?"

"After lunch," I tell him while shoving more food into my mouth. All I can hope is that if the test is positive by any chance, then I just don't want it to be a stress for him. Though he's handling everything that happened pretty well, I never know how this news would affect him.

My phone vibrates and I look at it to see Maria's message.

Maria: I and Brad would be at Lucas's school celebration's so if you need anything, don't hesitate to call us. I made some cookies for you and Aiden. Take care.

Sending a short reply, I return to my food while telling Aiden about what Maria texted me.

"Can we go home please? I'll message Brad asking him to put someone on the job to get my reports," I've never been so lazy to do my own things but right now, I guess I just ate too much and that's making me feel sleepy again.

A tear rolls down my face while a smile makes its way to my lips looking at how happy Aiden is, "You're pregnant baby doll," his voice almost comes as a whisper while his eyes fill with tears too.
