Chapter 27: A return to the hotel

After a good nap the couple wakes up and goes to see Hayden in the portal and tether room.

Hayden: Oh you two are finally awake. I was able to open a portal to hell from here and not just to earth.

Stan: Which hell though? There's two.

Hayden: Well we can go through and find out.

Stan: Imma get ready first. As you can see I'm a man in only shorts and underwear.

He walks with Charlie back to the room and put some clothes on. Just to be sure he brings along his full load out and praetor suit. Charlie just wears the usual tux and follows her knight in shimmering green armor.

They round up the others and walk through the portal. Hayden follows behind them and brings the portal's remote to open and close it from when and where he wishes.

They are in an alleyway with black and red textures and walk out into the street and see the big sign for the hotel.

Hayden: Where are we? New York in the 30's?

Alastor laughed because he thought it looked exactly like that.

Vaggie: No. this is what you call "biblical" hell.

Stan: Oh look the hotel isn't a complete mess.

They walk in and see the guests at the hotel being civilized and hanging around. Charlie walks upstairs to see if the place had changed while they were gone for a month.

Downstairs everyone was just chilling and asking what happened while they were gone. Then out from the office Lucifer walks in.

Lucifer: Stan my boy, good to see you've returned.

Stan: What happened while we were gone?

Lucifer: Lilith and I took over whilst you were gone. The hotel kept functioning perfectly and 3 people were sent to heaven.

Stan: That's great news. Charlie will be pleased to know how much you helped.

They hang out in the lobby talking about stuff that happened.

Lucifer: So Wait. You are part Human, Angel, and demon? Can I see how you look as a demon?

Stan: Yeah I think I can better control it so I can do it whenever I want to. So just wait.

He focused and veins pop out of his neck and biceps. His skin changed to being red, the horns pierced through his forehead, his teeth became sharp, eyes started to glow yellow, and the flames were ignited.

Lucifer: I am impressed with this. You look more menacing than I.

D/Stan: Thanks.

Charlie comes downstairs and sees her father.

Charlie: Daddy!

Stan/Lucifer: Yes?

Lucifer: Hold on.

He looks at Stan as he starts whistling and looking out into space. Angel and husk were laughing their asses off seeing this.

Charlie: Dad why are you here?

Lucifer: I ran the place with your mother while you were gone. That's why it hasn't gone to shit. But you have some explaining to do young lady. Who's that robot guy over there?

Stan: That's Dr. Samuel Hayden, he made the portal to get us back here. He's very smart.

Hayden to Sir pentious: So that's how I made the first Argent energy filter.

Sir pentious: Wow. You are quite the inventor Hayden. I'll talk to you later.

Lucifer: Interesting. But also why did he *points at stan* reply when you said daddy?

Charlie: Uhhhh. We do some things in bed together that involves calling him that.

Lucifer shook his head but it didn't matter because he knew that Stan was strong and deserved a girl like his daughter.

Lucifer: well since you've returned now maybe you could continue your job here? Me and your mother should return to the palace.

Charlie: Love you.

Lucifer: Love you too.

He opens the door and waits for Lilith to join him as they leave. Charlie closed the door behind them and let out a sigh of relief.

Charlie: Now that they're gone we could get back to running this hotel here.

Hayden: What about earth and the invasion?

Stan: We'll go back every now and then. But for now let's relax and review the people staying. Hmm 3 people sent to heaven that is good. Alright. Seems we have a day off.

Angel: Can we not work today. I want to watch something like the notebook.

Husk: Seriously? No Deadpool.

Stan: I agree with him. A Ryan Reynolds movie sounds good right about now.

Charlie grabs her phone and connects it to the big tv in the lobby. She opens an app (totally not prime video) and rents Deadpool for the gang to watch. The movie starts off and they get ready for it.

Fast forward to the end of the movie. Everyone is laughing and singing along to Careless Whisper.

Everyone: I'm never gonna dance again guilty feet have got no rhythm. Though it's easy to pretend I know you're not a fool. Should've known better than to cheat a friend and waste a chance that I'd been given so I'm never gonna dance again the way I danced with you oh.

Stan gets up and imitates playing the saxophone. Everyone continues to laugh while Charlie speaks to angel.

Angel: Whats up babe?

Charlie: Well where do you get your clothes from. Cause I was thinking of getting some-

Angel: So you want some sexy underwear huh? Well you've come to the right person. Give me the Money and I'll get you what you need.

Charlie: I want a *whispers* bunny outfit. Because you know how he loves bunnies. But maybe could ya also get a onesie too to cover it up?

Angel: I have you covered my friend. $100-$150 and I'll go down.

Charlie: Here's $200 now go.

Angel: I won't disappoint you.

He leaves and walks to the store he usually stocks up on. In the window on display was a bunny waitress outfit for $90. He knew that exactly what to get. Angel took the outfit and brought it up to the cash register. He put the money down and ran out of the store to get to a store with onesies.

After searching for 10 minutes he found a hell version of target. He walks in and runs to the PJ section. He found a pink bunny outfit for $20 and took and paid for it. He snuck the bag of clothes into the hotel without Stan noticing and brought it up to Charlie.

Charlie: Perfection. Keep the change. You deserve it.

Angel: Hell Yeah!
