Chapter 24: Preparing for war

It was a nice day in hell and an old friend decided to come visit. The Doot demon and his friends the Drum cacodemon and the Bottle baron. They just chilled out playing their instruments while the gang watched. When they were done Geltahmiin got a phone call and stepped out of the room.

Geltahmiin: Oh Hi Millie! Uh huh. Wait, HE DID WHAT!? I swear if ughhhh! Just I'll talk to you later.

BJ: Who was that?

Geltahmiin: My associates. I'm the owner of the company but Blitzø is the founder.

BJ: What is the company though? I don't recognize those names.

Geltahmiin tells him about the entire Immediate Murder Professionals and how their business works. He was confused at first but understood after it all.

They walked back in the room to see Stan sitting with the Instrument playing demons and playing his guitar. All three of the Argent demons could speak English surprisingly and they decided to play when the sun goes down by Kenny Chesney.

Stan: Oh that was nice.

Baron: I'm glad you liked my skills.

Cacodemon: Yeah. The other demons were scared of you because of how much of us you killed. But underneath that armor you're nice.

Stan: Heh thanks. It's nice that you say that. Just as long as you don't hurt my adorable cinnamon roll.

Baron: If you don't mind me asking Slayer, who is that?

Charlie: Me! I'm his adorable cinnamon roll!

She smiled and hugged him.

The demons said ohhhhh and smiled. Geltahmiin got up and started to talk to the others.

Geltahmiin: So as we know, we are kind of underprepared for the battle against the Khan Makyr. I was thinking of recruiting some of my associates who I'm pretty sure some of you may know. Sure they can be idiots but have their hearts in the right place.

Stan: Don't tell me it's those guys.

Geltahmiin: Yep, The IMP. They can help out more than you think. I also have a safe house on the other side of hell with oodles and oodles of weapons and technology.

Stan: Then we have no time to waste. Come on I think I remember what street their offices are.

Geltahmiin: Oh and one more thing, Duke and Keen.

Duke/Keen: What is it?

Geltahmiin: One If them Loona, if she takes interest into you, there's no escape from it.

Duke: What can I say? All the girls want a piece of me. *Flexes muscles*

Geltahmiin: I'm just saying. She won't let it go for a long time. You won't be able to shake her off.

Keen: Talk about clingy. But let's just go there and get this over with.

They walk out of the Hotel's front doors and make their way downtown. It was smooth sailing until they made it to "Tweakerville". There were demons smoking and doing drugs on the sidewalk.

Charlie managed to stomp on one's blunt and angered him. Stan twisted his head giving the demon a death glare scaring the shit out of him. It is just amusing to him that demons can be instantly scared of him by just staring at them.

Still walking there, they make it to Cherri's turf. The second BJ took a step on it she came out yelling, "Who the fuck are you!? Identify yourself!" Angel just tells her they're just passing through but while they were walking through, Cherri was looking at Duke's muscles and whistled.

They finally make it to the doorstep of the IMP offices. Geltahmiin knocked and Moxie answered. His jaw dropped seeing the 10+ other people behind her. Especially seeing the man around her size with an arm over her back.

Moxie: M-Miss Gel-Geltahmiin. What brings you here today? And who are these- Wait I recognize you guys.

He points to Stan, Charlie, Vaggie, Angel, Husk, and Niffty.

Vaggie: Us?

Moxie: Yeah, you're the ones who run that hotel do you?

Charlie: That's us. Didn't you guys come by once when you were getting chased by revenants?

Moxie: Yeah- THERE'S ONE RIGHT BEHIND YOU!!

He runs back inside after pointing out the Doot revenant. He slouched as the Baron patted him on the back. They push their way inside and pass Loona while she's on the phone.

Loona: Yeah I knooooow.... can I call you back?

She hangs up the phone and looks at both Duke and Keen. Geltahmiin was right about her taking a liking to them. She just sat there looking at them for about two minutes straight.

Blitzø walks in talking with Millie. He gulps seeing that Geltahmiin was there and then notices the 3 giant demons in there too.

Geltahmiin: So, Blitzø darling, Millie told me about what you did. You're lucky I'm with my friends or else I would have ripped your spinal cord out.

Blitzø: I'm sorry ma'am. But why do you have the entire hotel staff, four buff men, and 3 giant demons in here?

Geltahmiin: *Points to BJ* Boyfriend, *Points to Keen and Stan* His grandkids, *Points to Angel* Best friend, *Points to Charlie* Girlfriend of Boyfriend's grandson, *Points to the Argent demon band* Friendly Argent filled demons, *Points to Vaggie* Boyfriend's grandson's Girlfriend's best friend, *Points to duke* Boyfriend's grandson's best friend, and finally *Points to Husk* Best friend's Boyfriend.

Blitzø: Understood. So what brings you here today though?

Stan: We heard that you could help out with taking down the Khan Makyr. Then we decided to come all the way down here. This better not have been a waste off my time. *Cracks knuckles menacingly*

Blitzø: No no no sir, we can help out. Right guys?

He looks at Moxie and Millie as they nod. Then he looks over at Loona still thinking about Duke and Keen.

Blitzø: Right Loona?

Loona: Oh yeah right.

They continue to talk about their plan to assassinate the Khan Makyr. The IMP members chose to side with them so that humanity can once more grow so their business could continue.

They leave for the Safe House Geltahmiin talked about. It was on the other side of the pentagram in the desert areas. She opened it leading to a portal to which it was located. Once in the actual place everyone looked in awe to see the technology and weaponry hung all over the place.

Duke saw the armor section and noticed there was a spartan suit along with T-60 suits of power armor. He laughed and said, "Power armor is for pussies," and continued to roam around.

BJ saw she had Panzer Soldat armor and even a Panzerhund.

He yelled out, "Time to ride the fire doggeh!" The Panzerhund walked over to Geltahmiin and nuzzled up against her. She rubbed it's head and said, "This here is ravage. He's been modified to show emotion and have higher intelligence than the ones you're used to BJ dear."

BJ: That's so badass though. Alright boy let's test your range.

He spewed our some fire in one direction and smiled. He remembers doing this decades ago. Stan was impressed with the fact that she had all this stuff lying about. He asked her about it and she told him that being able to manipulate some time periods and stuff.

Geltahmiin: Feel free to browse around and take what you need and would want. There's even robot suits and weapons that can bust down any wall.

BJ: If you don't mind me asking, but how long have you had all of this?

Geltahmiin: For 90+ years dear.

She kisses him on the cheek and walks away to tinker with the praetor suit.
