Threw away my life for you

Still got nothing in return

Just the same old song of heartbreak and not knowing my place in the world without you

Was so blinded by paranoia

By the bickering voices in my head

That I threw away any chance at happiness

Stopped myself from thinking you'd stay 'til death

Even when you showed up at the alter

Even while you waited for a reciprocation of "I do"

I couldn't help but be a runaway bride

Ditched the something blue for the blues

But now that the chapter is over

And the blindness I gathered faded away

My regret for our burning love is draining

Wish I met you now that I'm ok
