fatal mistake
☆Faith☆ (A Series Of Poems)
What to do when your voice goes quiet
What to do when I no longer hear the pleasant hum
What to do when all I reap is silence
What to do when the nearest person is none
In this enchanted chasm I once believed in
Where I laid bare my naked soul
Took pleasure in gifting and making
Met with tossed items and a numbing pulse
So now the chasm has lost its magic
The golden gleam has withered away
The blessed path is now hidden
All that's left are sinners and the dismayed
For the image of tranquility has fallen
Like the ruins of an ancient cave
In the scattered boulders I lay with eyes vacant
Who knew loving you was a fatal mistake

A/N: nothing feels as good as writing a good poem. Even if it stems from a tarnished heart.
