I'll be here, waiting for you with open arms

Don't mind the tear stains on my pillow

Or the unwashed sheets that still mark when your body was on mine

Don't worry, I'll wash up before you get here

Use the shampoo and conditioner mix that you like

Wear your signature cologne boy

I can't promise whether the clothes on the floor will be yours or mine

Oh god, please whisper sweet nothings into my vacant ears

Jam your tongue down my throat as you touch me

Let your hands linger in all the right places

Tell me you're sorry for all that you've done to me

Climax on the spot when you tell me you regret leaving

Moan loudly when your palm hovers over my heart and you tell me I look lovely

Beg for you to put part of yourself inside of my body

The sheets finally released when you tell me there's no world where we could've met and then returned to nothing

Poem #2: You were an animal

Could've had the shape of my lips on your abdomen

Created a trail of burgundy kisses with a glittery sheen

Oh, you know I would've given you every piece of me

I swear to God, after I was done with you, there'd be no way you'd ever forget me

But tragic tales seem to repeat themselves for life

You tried to touch me where my body called for you, but I declined

And some nights I still miss your heavy breathing and heavy sighs

You were an animal, so I should've known your need for me would die
