She is empty of feelings
Empty of muscles and fat
Left only with bones
Ready to shatter on impact
Nothing could save her
She was in too deep
Asking for help while everyone was fast asleep
No one helped her
She was alone
And when her heart stopped
She felt at home
She did what she wanted
She slept the rest of her days
As she slept in her coffin
A paper doll in hand
Red crayon like the blood she regurgitated
Brown hair like the tireless eyes she wore
Black dress, like herself inside
A thin piece of paper
Like herself on the outside
Twins.
Both paper dolls.
