You
☆Faith☆ (A Series Of Poems)
Liking you brought me a mixture of emotions
Happy and excited at the dawn of a new horizon
Hoodwinked, decieved by your charms and effortless kindness
Sad and depressed knowing you were gone
Hopelessness by knowing you will soon be leaving
Because you're older
And we're in high school
And I'll never be more than your buddy
The nicknames you gave me
The handshakes you lay before me
The shoulder taps and playing fights that will never be put infront of me again
A man of many words
Many emotions, complex
Busy due to work
Religion, attending to family business
No longer running
Working out
Gives me no hope for track season
To ever see you again in that light
The beautiful turquouse light you eminate through your vibes, that smile, that laugh
The redness in my cheeks when you say you're proud of me
Glad I'm there
I no longer see you
You no longer linger by the locker rooms
But...what would be the point?
I'm not there anymore
Try to avoid you in the halls
Pray to god i don't see you when im caught off guard
But yet... all I want is to see you again
Because all i can do is think of you
