Chapter 99
Breathe Again
☆Faith☆ (A Series Of Poems)
I don't feel as hollow
The pain has mostly washed away
With the tide went the heartache
In washed up a sense of calmness and freed up space
I can finally breathe again
My lungs are no longer clogged up
No more pressure making my ribs poke at each other
Or a sense of dread sending me ways opposite of everyone
My own two feet are once again sturdy
I don't blow along with the wind
Firm like a hard oak
I'm finally ready to branch out
I am my own support
And I bring forth my own sunshine
Even when the rain pours
I know I always have an umbrella to take cover under
Not trapped in a cave
I dance out in the forest
Fear no longer owns my name
I've become so much more than I thought I was
