Chapter 1

Skylar's POV

"SKYLAR YOU SKANK GET YOUR FUCKING ASS DOWN HERE AND

MAKE ME BREAKFAST RIGHT NOW!" screamed my piece of shit and

asshole brother Tyler. Still in agonizing pain from the beating I received

last night I got up as fast as I could manage which wasn't very fast and

got dressed. As I tried to run down the stairs to the kitchen as fast as I

could but stupid people kept getting in my way. Then the pack slut

Melody grabbed me to tell me “Bitch you better make sure that you get

my fucking breakfast right this time or else you will regret it when I tell

Spencer that you were disrespecting me.” she screeched at me. Finally I

make it to the kitchen and quickly make the pack breakfast that

consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages, waffles, fruit salad, orange juice,

coffee and some salads for all the stupid ass whores. Just like every

morning I spit in all of their salads and they have never noticed which

makes me laugh on the inside because of how much they deserve it

and this little bit of payback feels so good. When I finish making all of

the food I quickly set the table and place all of the food down on it just

as the pack members start to file into the dining room. When they sit

down to eat I left the room and went to the attic which is where my

bedroom was located. Once I knew that I was completely alone I pulled

out my phone and computer out of the secret spot I keep them in

because if any of my pack members knew I had this stuff they would

confiscate them and destroy them. Suddenly I hear footsteps

approaching the attic stairs and I quickly and quietly hide my phone

and computer before who ever it is comes storming in.

Just as I finish hiding my stuff my asshat of a brother comes stomping

up to me “Slut you need to go and do your fucking shores and you also

have to set up for Spencer's birthday party so it had better be a great

one oh, and don't forget to get lots of food, beer and liquor.” my

brother yelled all of that at me I just sat there nodding my head at him,

once he was done I ran downstairs to get started on everything I

needed to do. I don't talk much “cause when I do I usually get a beating

for it so I only speak when I have to which is hardly ever. When I was

half way done my chores when everyone left for school and the parents

left for work, after finishing up the last of my chores I start setting up

the decorations for Spencer's 18th Birthday Party in record time. Then I

run to the store to buy everything I needed for the party I buy beer,

vodka, rum, steak, beef, bacon, salad, fruit, and anything else I would

need for it. Since I'm not allowed to have a vehicle it took me 6 trips to

and from the store to get everything back to the pack house and put

away and set up. Once that was all done I mowed the lawn, cleaned out

the pool, and set up all the tables and chairs, when that was all done I

started on cooking and making all of the food before the party started

at 7 because once people started to arrive I would have to go and start

serving everyone drinks.

It was now 11:30 at night and as I was trying to get passed Spencer to

serve someone behind him I accidentally bumped into him and as soon

as out bodies touched I felt sparks and tingles radiate from where we

touched. The next thing I know Spencer roughly grabs my wrist and

drags me into the pack house and up to his room so no one could hear

us. Once we got to his room he shoved me inside and shut the door

behind us and that's when I really looked at him and all I saw was hate,

anger, and disgust swirling around in his gorgeous light brown eyes.

“Fuck me the moon goddess sure does have a cruel sense of humour

making you my mate.” he sneered at me. “Let's just get this over with I.

Spencer Matthews rejects you Skylar Rose as my mate and future Luna

of the Silver Moon Pack.” he smirked happily at me as he waited for me

to start crying but me being me I was not going to give him that

satisfaction. So I simply said that “I Skylar Rose reject you Spencer

Matthews future alpha as my mate, oh and also I accept your rejection.”

I say to him with a new found confidence as I turned around and

slammed his bedroom door when I left a stunned Spencer standing in

his room. I turned and sprinted to my room and hurriedly packed all of

my belongings which doesn't take long as I don't really have very many

things to begin with. As I leave I go into the safe in the alpha's office

and take out 50 grand. Spencer rejecting me was the last straw for me

as I finally had enough of their abuse and with that final thought I left

the Silver Moon Pack once and for all
