Chapter 33

Jace's POV

I was ready in less then 20 minutes and spent the rest of my time

playing with my baby girl. Concern still ever present in me whenever I

look at her and see how much bigger she is then what she is supposed

to be at this age. It's been a hard few months without Skylar around

and I know that Lilith misses her mother just as much as I do. Every now

and then when I can't sleep I go and sit in Lilith's room watching over

her. On nights that Lily can't sleep and nothing seems to soothe her I

bring her into my room and lay her on my bed where Sky usually slept.

Since her scent is embedded into the sheets it helps to always calm

Lilith and she usually falls asleep and stays asleep throughout the night

with me.

I was in the living room playing with Lilith when my beta and gamma

walked in and informed me it was time to go. I kissed my baby girl on

the forehead and on each of her cheeks before I handed her over to

Lucy.

"I love you so much my precious little princess. Daddy will be back as

soon as he can. I promise that I will do my hardest to bring mommy

home with me. I love you so much baby girl you are my whole world,

my everything." I say to her as I kiss her head one last time before I

looked up to the 4 people who will be taking care of her while I am

away. I would prefer to take her with me but I know she will be safer

here then with me especially if I am to get her mother back.

"All of you take care of my little girl with your lives. If anything happens

to her I will not hesitate to kill any of you.” I say to them in a

demanding fatherly tone with a hint of alpha tone mixed in for good

measure.

"Don't worry alpha she is in good hands with all of us looking after her.

No one will be able to get close enough to her to harm her we promise

you that. You know we would give our lives for her for any of you. We

love you and her and Skylar just as much as you do you are all of our

family. Plus if something happened to her we would punish ourselves

way worse then anything you could do to us now go and find our Luna

and bring her and yourself home to us safe and sound.” Amber says to

me sternly as the twins and Lucy all nod their heads in agreement to

what she said towards me.

I nod my head knowing they are the only ones I truly trust my daughter

with. I head out with Dalton and the 20 warriors to the airport which

takes us about 4 hours to get there considering our pack is nestled

pretty deep in the forest and a long ways away from the town and

airport. We drove in silence the entire ride as I was too antsy to find out

more information about this Alpha and why he took my mate and to

make sure I can get her out safely after I tear this son of a bitch limb

from limb for touching what is mine.

Skylar's POV

I am sitting in my bedroom not being allowed to leave the room

anymore since she-wolves kept coming and attacking me because of

Vance kidnapping me and not wanting any of them. He rejected his

true mate and I'm pretty sure he killed her after she attacked me and

almost killed me. Ever since that night more and more she-wolves have

become brazen enough to attack me and try to kill me to prove

themselves to Alpha Vance and show that they are better then me. I

hate being here all I want to do is to go home and see my daughter

and my mate.

Something that has changed since the first month of me being here is

that every night Alpha Vance has been sleeping in my bed with me and

the only reason I know this is because I wake to him beside me with his

arms wrapped around me. On the mornings when he isn't there I can

smell his scent all over the bed and all over me. I always go and take a

shower and scrub my body until it's red and sore not wanting his scent

on me. The only scent I want on me is my mates but he doesn't care

about mates he only cares about strong bloodlines and since I come

from a very rare and strong bloodline he wants to pup me just to make

his bloodline stronger. Every time he tries to make an advance at me I

deny him but that makes him angry and he beats me and then locks me

in the silver cage in the room for a couple days with barely any food or

water. Candy hates seeing me like that and so she always tries her best

to sneak me some extra little bits of food and water whenever she can.

Candy is the only one that is nice to me some of the guards like to

come in and beat me and kiss me against my will as they try to touch

me in other places. I can sometimes get some punches or scratches or

bites in when they try but then I always end up getting a beating for it

before they leave. They know if Vance knew about any of it then they

would get punished if not killed for touching his toy.

Today I finally get let out of the cage that I had to spend the last week

in. Candy helps me to the bathroom and helps me in the tub and helps

me bathe just like the first night I had come here. If it wasn't for my

maid Candy watching out for me I probably would have died during the

first month I was here. I have tried to escape twice the first time I got

caught halfway through my attempt and then I waited until every one

thought I was accepting my fate here and so when everyone's guards

were down I made my second attempt and got farther. My second

attempt was the most promising as I was able to get outside and was

running through the forest when I was tackled from behind my one of

the guards who pinned me in place until the Alpha showed and

dragged me back to my room where he beat me until I passed out and

awoke in the silver cell.

Each time I am let out of the cell they lock the silver collar on me until

they think I am able to behave myself. They never seem to learn their

lessons as I will never stop fighting against them to get free from this

place as I refuse to die here. After my bath Candy helps me get dressed

in some comfy sweats and a tank top as I lay in the bed and fall asleep

I dreamed of running free through a forest when I heard a twig snap

and that's when I saw another wolf running directly at me I tried to stop

but fell and started tumbling until I hit a tree hard watching as the

other wolf made it's way to me slowing as it got closer. Once I was able

to get a closer look at the wolf realization hit me knowing that it was

Azazel my mates wolf. I let out a wolfey grin and laugh that just

sounded like a grunt as I got up and ran to him as I rubbed my muzzle

against his as we both purred at the sensation of it that we both have

been craving and had been denied for so long now. I stepped a little

ways away from him and shifted back to my human form and watched

as my mate did the same thing. I ran and jumped into his arms and I

crashed my lips against his as we melted into one. We didn't waste any

time getting busy in the clearing as we savored the touch and feel of

each other. I loved it when he touched me so gently yet rough at the

same time and I knew he loved it when I did the same thing to him we

fucked each other for hours and came multiple times before we were so

exhausted that we layed on the ground in each others arms panting

from the vigorous love making we just did. Before I fell asleep in his

arms I heard him whisper something to me making me very excited.

"I'm here baby and I will be coming for you soon I can't wait to be able

to hold you in my arms again. I love you so much Skylar."

I tried to reply but the darkness had consumed me completely as I

started to cry and scream I love you too to my mate that was no longer

there which made my heart break into a million pieces. I awoke with a

start from the dream that felt so god damn real as I felt the tears

streaming down my flushed cheeks making me wonder if it was just a

dream or if it was something else entirely but I couldn't hope or dwell

on what could just be a dream and I had to figure out how to get out of

here before this place becomes my grave.
