Jace's POV

Dinner with the Blue Moon Pack definitely wasn't like dinners at my

pack which are mostly silent and a bit awkward with quiet

conversations. Ever since I found my mate and Luna things had become

a lot more lively but ever since she was taken it seemed like the

brightness of the pack was taken with her as things just aren't the same

with out her. It was nice to enjoy all the commotion of the Blue Willow

Pack as they ate and joked around and yelled and laughed with one

another the entire night. After dinner the kids ran around and played

until they had to come in and head to bed while the teens did their

own things and so did the parents. All the adults would go and group

up and converse with each other and I encouraged my pack mates to

go and mingle and have fun as well as I sat there and enjoyed

everything going on around me.

After it got late me and my pack headed back to the house we were

staying in to turn in for the night as everyone called home to their

family and loved ones before going to sleep. Once I was alone in my

room I took my phone out and looked through all the pictures and

videos of Lilith from the day as I was admiring a picture of Lily smiling

brightly I saw Jasper video calling me. I answer and was greeted with

the sweetest little face I had ever seen.

"Hi baby girl daddy misses you so much and you are getting so big." I

coo at her as she smiles and laughs and baby talks back to me making

me and everyone around her smile and laugh at how adorable she is

"She misses you you know but she calms down when we give her one

of her shirts to cuddle with.” Jasper says from behind the camera as I

assume he is sitting in front of Lilith since I can see Lucy behind her.

"Where are Amber and Alex?" I ask curiously

Lucy and Jasper laugh at my question before they get themselves

together long enough to reply back to me.

"We told them to go and get some rest and we heard them having

some fun time before they fell asleep so they could take over the night

shift for us while we sleep.” They say as Jasper moves around to sit

beside Lucy since he propped the phone up so I could see everyone.

"Oh I see well that was bound to happen and I'm sure you two do the

same thing before you go to sleep.” I say wiggling my eyebrows at

them as Jasper looks away rubbing the back of his neck and Lucy

blushes so hard her face turns as red as a tomato.

"It's good to see her doing well and that you guys are handling

everything very well I miss you guys and I promise I will be back with

Skylar as soon as I can but I should go and get some sleep going to be

a long day gathering information and planning on how to get Skylar

back from that maniac alive.” I tell them as they nod their agreements.

"Good we would love to have you both come back alive for the pack

but more so Lilith has her mommy and daddy again as she misses you

both very much. Now go and get some sleep and we will talk with you

tomorrow goodnight Alpha.” They finish each others sentences before

the both say “goodnight alpha’ in unison.

"Goodnight my precious little angel mommy and daddy will be back

before you know it I love you so much and so does mommy." I coo at

my baby girl as she smiles and laughs before kissing the phone and

yawning showing how tired she is. They smile and wave good bye to

me before ending the call and I strip down to my boxers and lay in the

bed as I let the darkness consume me.

I was running through a forest towards another wolf that was running

towards me. She tried to stop but her paw caught on a root and she

went tumbling until her body stopped when it slammed into a nearby

tree. I was slowly walking towards her and that's when realization hit it

was Athena Skylar's wolf which made me so very happy to see her.

from the dream with a start as I was drenched in sweat as I sat there

thinking about the dream I started to cry silently before I got up and

took a quick shower to wash off all the sweat before trying to go back

to sleep knowing that tomorrow is the day I start my plans to get my

baby girl back from a psychotic beast.
