Chapter 46

Jace's POV

I spent the whole day training and going for runs to keep my mind

busy while I waited for the warlock to come and wake my mate finally. I

was in the room I was staying in taking a shower after my run when I

get a link from my gamma letting me know that one of the Blue Willow

wolves came to let us know that the warlock was finally here. I finish

showering and getting dressed in record time before I'm done and out

the door heading to Alpha Jason's office at the main house. I walk into

the pack house and make my way to his office stopping in front of the

door for a beat before I knock, waiting a couple of minutes before I

hear him say “Come In’ as I open the door and walk in I see the warlock

sitting in a chair across from him decked out in black leather with studs

and piercings all over kinda looking very goth but he works it very well.

"I hope I'm not interrupting anything I was told your warlock friend was

here and I had to meet the person who could help my mate" I say in a

worried and anxious tone

"It's alright Alpha Jace I was just going to bring him to you actually but

now I don't have to. Alpha Jace meet my long time ally and warlock

friend Sebastian, Sebastian please meet one of my allies Alpha Jace of

the Night Shade Pack his mate was the one I told you about over the

phone the one who was put under a sleeping potion." He introduces us

"Hello Sebastian I am very happy that you were able to come on such

short notice and I hope you can help wake my mate up from the

sleeping potion she was put under." I tell him with sad eyes

"The pleasure is all mine I love helping especially when I know the witch

that made the spell and don't worry I'm much stronger then she could

ever hope to be so I should be able to break the spell in no time. Also

you don't have to worry about her coming after you again she's been

taken care of by my coven and she will not harm anyone ever again

now could you please take me to your mate so I may begin.” Sebastian

asks with sheer determination and confidence. I nod as we all leave

Jason's office and head to the pack hospital to wake my mate up finally

after almost 3 months of her being asleep.

We get there and I show him to the room Skylar is in, once we get there

he asks if we could wait in the waiting room so he could work in peace.

I oblige and leave him alone with my mate reluctantly but I have hope

that he can do what he says and hopefully he doesn't betray us even

though he seems like a very nice person. After sitting in the waiting

room for 4 hours Sebastian finally emerges from my mate's room and I

stiffen thinking the worst has happened as he looks like he has a grim

expression on his face.

"Is she going to be okay were you able to reverse or break the sleeping

potion she was placed under?" I ask with a hopeful expression spread

across my face as I stand there looking at him waiting for him to say

something anything.

After an agonizing long 5 minutes a small smile spreads across his face

before he looks at me reassuringly, "Everything went splendid I was

able to figure out exactly which spell was used and I was able to

counter it accordingly she should wake up anywhere from the next few

hours to a day or two but she will wake up and that's all that matters.”

He tells me

"Thank you so much I owe you so much for doing this and I know my

mate would say the same thing please if you ever need anything please

don't hesitate to ask” I tell him as I hug him and we exchange cards so

we could get a hold of each other if needed.

I thank him a few more times before I take off to my mate's room to

wait by her bedside for her to wake up and I will not be leaving her

side. I want the first things for her to see when she wakes up to be me. I

walk into her room and hold her hand and whisper to her that she's

going to be all right and that she can wake up anytime she wants now

that the spell is broken and I just hope she could hear me as I sit in my

chair beside her holding her hand as I draw random patterns on the

back of her hand.

Skylar's POV

I was floating the darkness when I felt someone other my mate and the

doctors come into me room. I can feel his intense and magically

alluring energy as he comes towards me and moving his hands over my

body as I can feel it but I know he's not physically touching me and just

as fast as he starts he walks away from me for a while but I know he's

still in the room as I can feel the power emanating from him.

He was working on something for long time before he came back and

wiped something on forehead before placing his hand over it and

channeling power into it. Once he was done he walked away from me

and talked with someone about something and that's when I felt

something start to course through my body as I layed there hoping it

was the one thing that would finally wake me from this nightmare but

all I could do was wait and see if I woke up eventually as I somehow

knew it would take a while for what ever was coursing through me to

take full effect.

I was still surrounded by the darkness but then something else started

to happen. As I was wandering around in the dark I started to see a

glimmer of light and as I slowly made my way towards it I noticed it was

slowly getting brighter and brighter the closer I got to it. As I made my

way to the light I saw a figure in the middle of the light and as I looked

closely I noticed it was my mate Jace. Happiness over took me as I ran

and jumped into his arms letting his warmth and the light envelope me

until I finally opened my eyes and shut them against the harsh glare of

the lights.

Feeling very happy and overwhelmed I slowly opened my eyes and

looked around the room as I noticed I was in what looked like a

hospital room with an IV in my arm and machines hooked up to me. I

glanced down at my hand as I felt a weight on it and noticed my mate

holding it with his head beside it sleeping and whimpering in his sleep.

Not being able to take him whimpering I move my other hand to his

hair and run my fingers through his soft hair making him moan. As

soon as the moan escaped his lips his eyes snapped open and his head

shot up so fast and looked at me making his eyes go wide as he finally

noticed that I was actually awake.

He grabbed my face roughly and kissed me so deep and rough that he

started crying tears of joy at finally being able to kiss and hold me.

After what felt like minutes but was actually an hour of us making out

we pull away from each other panting for breath as we stared into each

others eyes with all the love we had for each other shining in them.

"Hello my love I am so glad to finally be able to see you and kiss you

and hold you close to me soon" I say to him making a smile form on his

swollen lips as he let more tears run down his face as he nuzzled into

my neck breathing my scent in deeply.
