âI feel hot. You sit here.â
After proudly putting him in his place, she glanced at Vihani and guzzled her champagne.
âAre you worried?â He just threw it out without thinking it was true, but it somehow made Yernia anxious.
Cassian felt thrilled when he saw her in a daze, as if she had realized something she hadnât known in the first place.
Yernia was now conscious of him; it didnât matter what she felt or thought.
The only thing that mattered was⦠she was finally aware of him other than her childhood friend.
Cassian thought he should be more proactive in his approach.
He looked at his body in the mirror.
He should use what Yernia liked a little more.
***
These days, Cassian became more persistent when guiding after the cruise.
If he needed it this often, she had no idea how he was able to suppress it until now.
His demands seemed never-ending after claiming he found it hard to control his powers, but he needed to calm down.
And, alsoâ¦
âYernia, kiss me.â
Guiding had turned into kissing, and she hated her responsibilities lately.
However, this wasnât done on purpose.
Yernia just couldnât differentiate guiding from intimacy.
Before she knew it, her dirty mind had attached guidance to kissing Cassian.
âI already guided you a lot, Cassian.â
âDo you think Iâll be able to control myself today?â
Yena shook her head firmly.
âLetâs just hold hands.â
Cassian kissed her lips as soon as she woke up this morning.
Surprised, she tried to stop him, but he made âguidingâ his excuse.
She doubted whether her guiding was proper, but Yernia just let it slide since she couldnât win against him.
âWhy?â
âYouâll ask me to guide you again during the night.â
âYou know me too well,â Cassian said boldly as he stared straight into her eyes.
Yernia refused to back down.
âYou should look at our surroundings.â
âWhat do you mean?â
âLook at the rest of the world watching us.â
Cassian glanced around, wondering what caused Yerniaâs concern.
As he blinked, his assistant and the rest of the servants staggered back.
âIs there any problem now?â
Cassian clasped Yerniaâs wrists with one hand, urged her to lower her head, and pulled her behind his back.
âJust go away, Cassian! Donât follow me to the garden.â
After packing some shovels and seeds to plant new ones, Yernia went to the garden to tend to her flowers.
Unfortunately, Cassian, who seemed to be in a good mood, appeared out of nowhere and suddenly asked her to guide him.
âWhat if I go crazy like this?â
I donât run out of guiding just because I donât do it once.
âThen Iâll guide you then.â
âKiss me now.â
âWhat if you go crazy like this, Cassian?â
âI will not run out of guidance because we donât do it just once. If that were the case, I would have turned into a rogue Esper in the past after strictly eating what the inhibitors gave me.â
âIâll guide you then.â
âKiss me now.â
Because of Cassian, Yernia kept mistaking âguidanceâ for kissing, and it felt like he was doing this on purpose.
Now, it felt like they were kissing because they liked each other even if the truth was⦠she was only trying to suppress his  powers.
âI have to plant some flowers. If you arenât satisfied with just holding hands, then letâs not do it.â
âHow about a hug?â He asked sulkily.
Yernia found it cute, but she erased that thought out of her mind.
Who was cute?
Cassian?
The man was stubborn.
âYou donât know much about guiding.â
âAs a guide, I know better than you.â
Yernia realized it wasnât true.
She was unaware that guidance would become stronger with more physical contact than holding hands until Cassian told her about it.
âReally? Prove it to me.â
Yernia decided to ignore Cassian by pushing him away and turning her back on him.
She didnât want to listen to him anymore.
Still, Cassian followed as he told her that he was about to die and would collapse.
Ignore.
She must ignore him and keep walking forward.
Cassian didnât follow her at once, and she headed to the garden with a light heart.
She watered the flowers and pulled out the withered ones.
Then, Yerniaâs movements slowed as she shoveled the soil to plant new seeds.
Something bothered her greatly.
âWhat if he lost control?â
She knew it wouldnât happen because she guided him  this morning, but she couldnât help but be worried.
In the end, Yernia went back.
âAre you here to guide me?â
Cassian was standing there when Yernia strode towards him and wrapped him in a hug but the difference between their physiques made it look like he was hugging her.
Cassian felt a bit stiff as he hugged Yernia.
This time, Yerniaâs arms around his waist flinched.
âDonât hold yourself back. Iâll just keep hugging you.â
âThen where do I put my arms around?â
âJust focus on guiding me.â
It felt strange because she hadnât thought of hugging him before to guide.
At the moment, neither Cassian nor Yernia could do anything except focus on each other.
Whether holding hands or hugging each other, these intimate physical contacts felt dangerous to Yernia.
âWhen will we have our child?â
âWhat?â
âWhy are you so surprised? I just said it because you looked so flustered.â
Having a Cassianâs child?
