ALWAYS AND FOREVER

Walking down the busy streets of New York City, the place Aurora Salvatore had been residing in for the past 4 months.

New York wasn't her favourite but it was a good place to feed. No one notices one missing body, especially if you have a good place to dump them.

But Aurora didn't feed on people anymore. She only drank from blood bags. If she got fresh blood, she would turn into the ripper again, she didn't want that.

It would draw attention to herself and he could find her easier.

She didn't want that.

And Stefan's bunny muncher method didn't work for her. Plus, she felt bad for the animals.

Yeah, it's apart of the life cycle or whatever. It didn't mean she could have some compassion for them.

People were a different situation. She didn't care as much, but, she cared for herself and her humanity.

She didn't want to lose it, again.

Unlocking her luxury apartment door, Aurora walked inside and as soon as she stepped in, she got a call.

'Stefan - Bunny Muncher'

Was the caller ID, causing Aurora's eyes to light up, she hasn't seen her brother for 2 years. He and Damon call her every few days, to keep her updated with the Mystic Falls drama.

Whenever they call, they make sure to beg her to at least visit the Salvatore boarding house, to help with a few of the many problems surrounding Elena Gilbert.

When Aurora first heard Elena was basically a body double of Katherine, she hated her. But hearing how much both her brothers love her.

surprise, surprise.

Accepted the fact that, she could still hate her. But she had to keep it to herself.

Another thing, was eventually he would find her and use her in the ritual, Aurora hoped she wouldn't be anywhere near Mystic Falls when he shows up.

Because he will. He always does.

She pressed the accept button, bringing her phone up to her ear, "Hey, Stef."

"Hi, Rory." Stefan greeted.

"I haven't heard from you in a while. What's up?" Aurora asked, placing her keys down on a counter top.

Stefan knew his sister hated Mystic falls and swore to herself and everyone she loves, she would never go back. But they needed her help, Aurora could be really powerful when she wanted to be and they needed her strength.

And, Elena was in danger.

"Katherine is here." He stated simply.

Aurora's eyes widened, her and Katherine kept formalities. Sure, after turning Aurora wasn't the biggest fan of her but Katherine kept coming back and checking in, Aurora decided it would be okay to keep her close.

But not close enough Katherine could leave and betray her again, leaving her heartbroken.

Aurora was smart with her friendships and relationships now, especially with losing so many.

"You've seen her?" Aurora asked, she knew how Katherine liked to play games, they've only seen her if she wanted to be seen.

"Yeah, we need your help."

"We need our little gremlin's muscle!" Came Damon's voice, Aurora could practically see his smirk.

Aurora rolled her eyes, "Of course you do," she took a breath, sitting on her chesterfield couch, "What do you need my help with?"

"We're gonna kill Katherine," Damon stole the phone from Stefan, "So, get your butt over here and help."

Stefan rolled his eyes, "Damon, you know she won't listen if you demand her."

Aurora rolled her eyes, "Can you give the phone back to Stefan? He's the reasonable one."

Damon let out a sarcastic huff, "Come on, you know you love me."

Aurora nodded, "Unfortunately," she smiled to herself, she could feel Damon's eye roll through the phone, "Phone. Stefan, please."

She could hear small whispers in the background of the call, she was guessing Elena. Seeing as it sounds somewhat like Katherine's voice.

"Will you come? Please." Stefan pleased, they needed her. And, Stefan needed his sister, it's been to long since they've seen each other in person.

Damon only ever listened to Aurora, and Stefan was sane around her, he never liked disappointing his sister even if she was the same as him.

Aurora nodded, even though Stefan couldn't see, "Yeah, I'll be there soon."

Stefan smiled lightly, "Thank you, I love you."

"Love you, too."

"Where's my 'love you'" Aurora heard Damon yell in the background.

Aurora playfully rolled her eyes, "Yeah, whatever. I love you, demon."

"Love you, too, gremlin."
