Chapter 31 Hug under the lights

After losing my memory, I'm looking for my wife every day

When the last round of fireworks show ended, little Xuebao had fallen asleep on Rong Yuqiu's shoulder. Ji Qiuxue and Rong Yuqiu sat side by side under a tree, looking up at the fireworks exploding in the sky. Except for a little pungent smell of gunpowder left in the air, everything else disappeared with the fireworks show.

Rong Yuqiu looked at the sky which had returned to calm, then turned to look at Ji Qiuxue, "Let's go." Ji Qiuxue nodded. She's wearing the same cat ears as Rong Yuqiu, and even little Xuebao had one on her head. Most people in the amusement park wore the same animal ears on their heads, and the dim lights could illuminate the road a little.

More and more people rushed to the door, and Ji Qiuxue was pushed away by the crowd. She wanted to turn around to look at Rong Yuqiu but was pushed out by the people behind her. Ji Qiuxue had no choice but to follow the crowd. As soon as she walked out of the door, she was grabbed by a strong hand. When Ji Qiuxue looked up, she saw Rong Yuqiu standing at the door. Rong Yuqiu pulled Ji Qiuxue to her side and blocked the crowd for her.

Ji Qiuxue looked into Rong Yuqiu's eyes. Countless lights were reflected in those eyes, and her shadow is in the light. Ji Qiuxue almost thought that she's looking at her affectionately. The two of them stood together waiting for the crowd to pass, but they didn't know who pushed Rong Yuqiu, and the crowd happened to squeeze over. Rong Yuqiu's body swayed and she couldn't stand steadily. She reached out and hugged Ji Qiuxue, who took several steps back as she moved.

Rong Yuqiu held the child in one hand and Ji Qiuxue in the other. She leaned her feet against the wall and held Ji Qiuxue tightly in her arms. The pleasant scent from Ji Qiuxue that made her indulge in it flashed by again, and Rong Yuqiu had to hold her breath, for she's afraid that she had offended her.

Ji Qiuxue raised her head and looked at Rong Yuqiu who was looking at her worriedly. Her brown-gray eyes were like a boundless spring that sucked her in. She just wanted to immerse herself in it. A pair of hands suddenly hugged Rong Yuqiu's waist. Rong Yuqiu's body stiffened. She looked at Ji Qiuxue who had her eyes closed and her head resting in her arms.

The two of them embraced each other under the shining but unclear colored lights, the crowded and noisy crowd seemed to have nothing to do with them. Some people looked at them with envy, while others smiled knowingly and held the hands of the people around them to prevent them from being pushed away.

Rong Yuqiu just stood there stiffly, not daring to move at all. She hugged Ji Qiuxue's waist and for a moment she didn't know whether it's better to let go or just stand there quietly. She's afraid that if she let go, Ji Qiuxue would feel embarrassed and disappointed. Rong Yuqiu turned around and watched the last set of farewell fireworks lighting up in the sky, which meant that the amusement park was clearing out the guests. The warm and soft body in her arms made her consciousness alternate between being in the air and in her arms.

Ten minutes later, when the crowd thinned out, Ji Qiuxue let go of her hand. She raised her head and looked at Rong Yuqiu, who's blushing. Ji Qiuxue's eyes felt a little hot and the corners of her mouth were raised. Rong Yuqiu looked into her eyes and felt very sad. She's so sad that she wanted to say to Ji Qiuxue, "Don't cry." As soon as her voice came out, Ji Qiuxue turned her head and smiled, but the tears in her eyes finally rolled down.

Rong Yuqiu pursed her lips. She's clearly just thinking about it in her mind, but she didn't know why she said it out loud. She waited until Ji Qiuxue calmed down, and then the two of them walked out one after the other. The driver of the nanny car was already waiting for them outside. Countless cars lined up in a long queue. The driver opened the door, Rong Yuqiu got in holding the child, and Ji Qiuxue followed closely behind.

"There are so many people in the amusement park, and there's a traffic jam ahead, Teacher Ji, so we may have to leave a little later." The driver felt worried that Ji Qiuxue is anxious to go home and rest, so he explained this specially. "It's okay, drive slowly, safety is the priority." Ji Qiuxue said considerately. "Shall I take you home first?" Ji Qiuxue turned and looked at Rong Yuqiu who's holding the child.

"No need, my driver will be waiting for me downstairs of your house." Rong Yuqiu wrapped Xiao Xuebao in a blanket, fearing that she would catch a cold. Little Xuebao was sleeping sweetly in Rong Yuqiu's arms, with her little face rosy from sleep. Ji Qiuxue looked at the person who's very meticulous in every move. She used to worry that Rong Yuqiu would not be able to take care of the child, but she did not expect that as soon as she came into contact with the child, she would subconsciously pamper her and take care of her.

The driver drove very steadily, and little Xuebao didn't wake up until they reached the community where Ji Qiuxue lived. Rong Yuqiu handed the child to Ji Qiuxue. She watched the nanny car drive into the garage, then she turned around and got into her own car. Rong Yuqiu sat in the car and gently placed her fingers on the place where Ji Qiuxue had hugged her. The feeling on my waist seemed to have never disappeared, and the softness in my arms seemed to still be resting on my shoulders.

Rong Yuqiu remembered Ji Qiuxue's eyes, those hot eyes. Every time Rong Yuqiu thought of them, she felt sad inside. That faint pain made her close her eyes and she wanted to go back and comfort Ji Qiuxue once again. But she couldn't cross the line. She didn't know what Ji Qiuxue was thinking at that moment, and she didn't dare to find out why she felt sorry for her.

Rong Yuqiu took off the cat ears on her head. She looked at the cat ears and smiled unconsciously. Little Xuebao insisted that everyone wear them together, so she and Ji Qiuxue satisfied her. There are a lot of children in the amusement park, including many as old as Xuebao. Because only this amusement park has many equipment that children under six years old can play. There are many more equipment than other amusement parks. Little Xuebao had a lot of fun as soon as they went in.

She and Ji Qiuxue took a lot of photos of the little girl. Rong Yuqiu took out her cell phone and looked through the photos. One of the photos is a photo of her and Ji Qiuxue. The two of them stood in front of a big tiger and imitated the tiger's roar, which made little Xuebao laugh. There is another photo of her holding Xiao Xuebao and playing games with Ji Qiuxue. She won first place, and Ji Qiuxue happily held her wrist and jumped up in the crowd.

There are many more photos, all of which were taken by her bodyguards disguised as ordinary people. After she returned home, Rong Yuqiu sent Ji Qiuxue a jpg emoticon of the cat returning home safely. Ji Qiuxue didn't reply immediately. Rong Yuqiu guessed that Ji Qiuxue should be washing up at this moment. When she returned home, the lights were still on. mother mother is lying on the sofa watching TV with glasses on her nose.

When Rong Yuqiu walked over, she found that her mother had fallen asleep. Rong Yuqiu looked at her mother's tired face and suddenly realized that she had seen such a tired look on her mother many times. Rong Yuqiu did not wake up mother rong. The housekeeper had already covered her with a small quilt and the air conditioner was adjusted to a suitable temperature.

There's no need for Rong Yuqiu to do anything else. She just turned down the volume of the TV. As soon as she turned around, mother rong woke up. "Xiao Qiu?" Rong's mother pinched her nose bridge and took off her glasses. Rong Yuqiu turned around, "Mom, go back to the bedroom and sleep." mother rong nodded. She looked at her daughter with concern, "Did you have fun at the amusement park today?"

Rong Yuqiu sat on the single sofa next to her, "Not bad. There are many things to do in the amusement park." mother rong looked at Rong Yuqiu with a gleam in her eyes and nodded with satisfaction. She stood up and patted Rong Yuqiu on the shoulder, "Go and have a rest."

Rong Yuqiu sat on the sofa and watched her mother stretch with satisfaction and get on the elevator to go upstairs. She sat downstairs and watched the elevator door close. Are you hiding something from me?

At home, Ji Qiuxue had just sent little Xuebao back to her own room and was coaxing her to go back to sleep. Ji Qiuxue is wearing a white silk nightgown, revealing a graceful and seductive figure underneath, with her long hair falling on her shoulders. She's holding a glass of red wine in her hand, sitting outside on the balcony looking at the half-moon in the sky.

Ji Qiuxue lowered her head and glanced at her phone. A message from Rong Yuqiu flashed by, but she didn't click on it. Instead, she raised her head and took a sip from the wine glass. Her fair and slender neck seemed so faintly visible under the warm light, and the movement of her throat as the red wine was swallowed was so moving. If anyone saw it, they would definitely be fascinated by her.

Ji Qiuxue thought about what happened today, memories of Rong Yuqiu kept flashing in her mind, and the warmth from the hug still remained on her fingertips. She picked up the wine glass and took another sip, her worry-free hair swaying in the air as she moved. Ji Qiuxue drank the red wine too quickly and soon felt tipsy. She picked up the ladies' cigarettes that had been unopened on the table for a long time and took out a thin cigarette.

Ji Qiuxue looked at the cigarettes and remembered Rong Yuqiu's words, "Sister, smoking is bad for your lungs." In her memory, Rong Yuqiu held her hand and acted coquettishly just to get her to quit smoking. Ji Qiuxue smiled lightly and put the cigarette back into the box. She looked into the distance. Tonight, she wasn't pushed away by Rong Yuqiu, and the other party would still subconsciously protect her.

Looking at those eyes, Ji Qiuxue really couldn't help but want to hug her. She obeyed her heart and hugged her. Only then did Ji Qiuxue's anxiety in her heart finally settle down a little. She really wanted to lie in Rong Yuqiu's arms and feel the body temperature of her lover. Unfortunately, her lover can't remember her now, and she's worried that she has "betrayed" her if she spends a few minutes with her.

Ji Qiuxue rubbed her forehead in distress. "It would be okay if she lost all her memory. I can still make her fall in love with me again. I'm just afraid that she only remembers a little, but not much." She felt so helpless that she didn't know what to do. If she took the initiative to move closer, she's afraid that the other person would be scared away. If she didn't take the initiative, the other person might really be trying to find a needle in a haystack and not be able to see the person in front of her.

"It seems that we can only rely on little Xuebao." Ji Qiuxue thought about her daughter, the ultimate weapon. Perhaps their reunion as wives would have to be handed over to her little Xuebao who is less than five years old. If little Xuebao knew what she was thinking, she would definitely pat her chest and say, "Don't worry, Mommy, I will definitely bring mom home."

After separating today, no one knew when the next time the two of them would be together so openly would be. The two people who were thinking together under the moonlight both sighed sadly. Rong Yuqiu looked at Ji Qiuxue, who still hadn't replied to her message on the phone, and felt a little resentful. When she hugged her, she was so tight, but now she didn't even reply to her message.

Rong Yuqiu felt even more upset when she saw the half-moon in the sky. She looked at the drawing paper on the table, thinking about Xiao Xuebao and Ji Qiuxue. From time to time, she looked at the drawing paper without a face. Looking at the blank facial expression, she felt so guilty that her hands and feet became weak and she dared not look directly at the drawing paper. Rong Yuqiu reached out and picked up the drawing paper and placed it on her chest, reminding herself not to... let her heart be moved
