Aarohi's pov
"I can't believe this. It's almost the end for our session. It feels like just yesterday when I came here and met Rudra, I made a lot of friends. This whole year has been amazing. After Diwali, so many things happened. We celebrated our New Year for the first time together. It was a party on campus that day, and I caught him smoking a cigarette with some of his friends. I got so angry at him, but he promised, he won't do that again. Of course, he knows how to make up with me when I'm angry. So, that works. I can't get angry with him too many times. He behaves so cute with me. I can't believe that he used to be a bit of a playboy in his past. He seems to be so much in love with me. Of course, I am too.
In February, on my birthday, when he found out that I love reading books, he gifted me a book and he promised to gift me two gifts every year on my birthday. The first one is fixed; he'll gift me an original copy of a book signed by its author. And the second one, he'll decide. And I said, okay. Honestly, I don't need any other gift when it comes to books. I like reading. And obviously, for a reader, if the book is signed by its author, I can't be happier than that.
"We spend so much time together? Last month, we went shopping, and I gifted him a perfume. He said he's going to use that brand for his whole life. I mean, that's ridiculous. How can someone use the same perfume for their whole life? I change mine every time the bottle is empty; I try a new brand. But he's stubborn; he can do anything.
"He also gave me the keys to the staircase for his flat. When I said I didn't need them, he just said, 'In case I'm not at my place and you want to come or you want to take something, or leave something over there , you'll need them.' I still said no, but he insisted, 'I want you to have them.' So I just took them."
His birthday is next month, and we won't be together because I'm going to my hometown, and obviously, he's going to his too. We also have a final exam next Sunday. Tomorrow is our last day here on campus, so we all decided to just enjoy our last day here. I'm excited but also feeling sad because I'll miss this place. We have a lot of memories here, especially with Rudra. I really don't want to leave, but I can't stay here. Right now, I just want to study. I have to do that, i mean to clear the exam, Maybe Rudra can too if he tries, but he's so careless; he just doesn't study many days. He spends time hanging out with friends and sometimes with me.
"I don't know when we'll meet, and I didn't even ask him. But sometimes he just says that he'll come to my place to meet me after the exam. And if we get good marks, we can go to the same medical college, and then we'll be together again. I hope he gets good marks so we can go to the same medical college."

Author's pov
"So today is the last day for all the students of the session in the city as they will leave for their homes tomorrow, and that's why all of them plan to party together. In the morning, Rudra called Aarohi and said he had some work to do, which is why he didn't come to meet her .
He met her directly in the evening. So Aarohi just said okay. But when Aarohi asked what work he had to do, he just said it's some work he'll explain later.
Throughout the day, Aarohi spent time with Priya, Teju, Myra, and all of them, and none of them knew where Rudra was.
In the evening, all of them got ready for the party on the terrace of Rudra's building, which was the only place that allowed students at night. There was music on the terrace in the evening, and everyone was having a good time.
Aarohi was about to go to the party, finishing his packing as he had to leave next morning since his father would be there to pick him up. Before that, he finished all the packing.
She tried to call Rudra, but Rudra didn't pick up. Then he called Priya, and they both were on their way to the party. On their way, Priya asked, 'Did you reach Rudra?' And Aarohi said, 'No, I haven't seen him since morning. I don't know where he is. Maybe he's at the party.' Priya said, 'Yeah, maybe.'
Then they both continued, and Aarohi saw Myra talking to Sanjana. Aarohi went to them and asked Myra if she knew where Rudra was. But Myra said she didn't know. Sanjana smirked at Aarohi, but Aarohi didn't say anything. He just left, feeling tense because no one knows where Rudra is."
"At the party, Aarohi also asked Teju and some other friends of Rudra's, but they didn't know either. She kept trying to call him continuously. She went back to her flat and opened the door, but she didn't find anything or anyone there. When she returned to the terrace, she saw Rudra standing with some boys at the corner. She went to Rudra, grabbed his hand, and pulled him away. Rudra was saying, 'Hey, what are you doing? Hey, listen to me, what are you doing?'
But Aarohi didn't answer. She went to the stairs and asked, 'Where the hell were you since the morning? Do you know how worried I was? Where were you? You weren't answering my calls or replying to my messages. What the hell were you doing with that work?'
Rudy just smiled. 'So you were worried because of me?'
Aarohi said, 'Do you think this is the time for jokes? You know it was our last day here. I just wanted to spend this day with you. But you were invisible the whole day.'
Rudra said, 'Oh, I'm sorry, Aaruh. I was just doing some important work that was really important. I'll tell you later.'
Aarohi said, 'Whatever,' and tried to leave. But Rudra said, 'You know, as it's our last day, not just the last day, only the night is left .
So I want to spend it with you.' Aarohi said, 'What?' Rudra held her hand and said, 'I mean, I want to spend the whole time ,whatever left , with you.
Aarohi said, 'huh.. no... i mean ....'
Rudra said, 'I'm just saying, we'll be together the whole night, just together and i wanted to show u sometimes.'
Aarohi said, 'Ah, okay. What is it??
Its a surprise, Let's go to the party first.' Rudy replied.
They went to the party, and Aarohi was busy with some friends, not knowing when she would meet them again. Rudra was also busy with his friends. Two or three hours later,
Aarohi tried to find Rudra again, but he was missing once more. When she went toward his flat, she opened the door and saw Rudra and some boys sitting in the hall, drinking beer, rum, whiskeyâshe wasn't sureâall placed on a table along with some snacks.
She was shocked to see Rudra drinking with his friends there. She shut the door loudly, and Rudra was shocked that Aarohi had seen him.
Aarohi walked away quickly, ignoring Rudra calling her name. She went down the stairs, and when she reached the ground floor, Rudra called her, saying, 'Listen, Aaruh ,it's not my fault. It was Teju who insisted.'
Aarohi said, 'Just stay away from me; you smell like alcohol.' Rudra pleaded, 'Please listen to me.' Aarohi replied, 'I don't want to hear anything from you , that day you were smokingand now this.....just don't say anything.'
Trust me i didn't even though about to smoke since i promised u .
No ... i don't wanna listen anything you do this everytime.
Aarohi tried to leave, but Rudra hugged her from behind and said, 'Please come with me; I really want to show you something special. It's our last time here; I want to spend this whole time with you.'
Aarohi didn't listen and walked away, pulling herself free from Rudra's grip, and headed towards her room."
"During this, Myra came and asked Rudra what happened. Rudra replied, 'It's just, you know, I messed up, and Aarohi is upset with me.' Myra told Rudra, 'She's angry right now, so you should talk to her in the morning.' Myra then escorted Rudra back to his room."
"Aarohi reached her room, changed, and lay on the bed, feeling angry. She was just thinking about Rudra at that time, and about an hour later her phone rang, and of course, it was Rudra's call , but Aarohi didn't pick up, yet he kept calling again and again.
So at last Aarohi picked up and said, 'What?'
And Rudra said, 'Please come to my flat, I just wanna tell you something.' Aarohi could feel the shakiness in his voice, all because of the alcohol that he couldn't even speak properly. And he was just, an this made Aarohi so angry, and she said, 'No, I'm not coming. I don't wanna talk to you,' and she hung up.
Rudra called again, but she didn't pick up, and he kept calling, again and again.
So Aarohi just switched off her phone and slept.
The next day Aarohi woke up at 6 am, and when she switched on her phone she saw there were more than 20 messages, and many of them were voice messages, all from rudra.She listened to them one by one, and the voice messages were like,
'Please, Aaruh, come to me. I wanna see you.
I miss you, Aaruh, Come to me,
you know I love you so much, Aaruh. Aaruh, it's the last day here, come to me, I wanna spend it with you.
30 mins later...
Aaruh, I'm still waiting, are you coming?
Aaruh, are you asleep?'
Come and just give me a hug aaruh...
And the last one was, 'Aaruh, I'm at my balcony, and the stars are dancing. And moon is asking me, where is my Aaruh? ,they all are teasing me that I'm alone in this beautiful night.
Please come, I just want to show them that I'm not alone i have u , i have my aaruh with me.
This made Aarohi laugh, and she also knew that he had just sent all the messages when he was drunk, but still she wanted to meet him .
So she just got ready, and there was almost an hour left before her father would be there, so putting aside her anger, she went to see Rudra.
And she went to his building, after like 5 to 10 minutes she came back from the building, she was crying and angry, upset, all of the emotions blending on her face, tears in her eyes, she came back.
Myra was there outside the building so Myra asked her, 'What happened, Aarohi? You're coming from Rudra's building in the morning. Where is Rudra?'
And Aarohi shouted at Myra and said, 'I don't know where he is, and I don't want to know because he means nothing to me now,' and she left".
