"It's been a day since Rudra saw Aarohi's face in the little mirror on the door of his room. And he keeps thinking since the morning he woke up, did i really see her face or imagine it? Why would i imagine her face at this moment?
And then he said to himself, 'Rudra, stop going out of your way. Just focus. You don't want to see her, right? So, stop imagining her.'"
"In the evening, Aarohi and Jiya were doing their routine check of the patients in the wards. After the check, as they were leaving, Jiya said to Aarohi, 'Aren't you going to see him? You haven't seen him since morning.' Aarohi replied, 'Why would I? Yesterday, I went to see him because he was my patient, but today I'm not assigned to him. So, whoever, whatever, I'm not going.'
Jiya said, 'Ah, okay, okay. I was just suggesting if you could see that he's already awake.'
Aarohi felt happy after hearing this, but she kept pretending to be rude in front of Jiya and said, 'So what? As a doctor, I'm happy, and that's all.'
Jiya said, 'Oh, you and your rudeness. But I can't say whatever he does to you, you have full rights to be angry or to hate him.' Aarohi just replied, 'Hmm.'"
"At night, before the last checkup, Rudra's parents came to his room. His sister and mother sat beside his bed, trying to talk with Rudra, who was also speaking now, albeit slightly. When the doctor arrived, he told Rudra, 'You are fine now. It's just a miracle that you are getting better so quickly.'
Rudra's mother thanked the doctor and requested, 'Doctor, please keep him here and make him fit like he was before.' The doctor responded, 'I'm going on leave, so I'll appoint another practicing student. He doesn't need an experienced doctor right now.' Rudra's mother insisted, 'No, no, doctor, please don't appoint a practicing student. Please appoint the best doctor.' The doctor reassured her, 'Don't worry, our practicing students are really good. I'll appoint the best one for your son.' His mother said, 'Okay, doctor, thank you so much,' and then the doctor left."
"The next day, Aarohi was sitting in the canteen, looking very down.
When her friend Jiya came and asked, 'What happened, Aarohi? Why are you looking so down?'
Aarohi replied, 'You won't believe what happened this morning.' Jiya asked, 'What happened?' Aarohi said, 'Dr. Singh appointed me as Rudra's doctor.' Jiya exclaimed, 'What?' Aarohi confirmed, 'Yes.' 'I was thinking that I would never see him and we would never meet each other,' Aarohi continued, 'and he would be leaving in 3-4 days from here. But now, he is admitted here for a long time, I guess. And I should be appointed as his doctor, as Dr. Singh is going on leave. About a month.' Jiya expressed concern, 'Oh no, yoy have to face him, talk to him daily, almost for hours.' Aarohi agreed, 'Yes, I don't know how I can go in front of him. I just hate him.'
Jiya reassured her, 'Don't worry, it will be fine. Just be professional in front of him.' As they were talking, the nurse came and asked, 'Dr. Aarohi, let's go, we have to check a patient.' Aarohi inquired, 'Are you appointed with me for Mr. Sinha?' The nurse confirmed, 'Yes.' Aarohi said, 'Okay sister, let's go.' Jiya encouraged her, 'Just go, everything will be fine".

Rudra lay motionless on the hospital bed, his breathing shallow and rhythmic. Aarohi, accompanied by the nurse, entered the room, her steps hesitant and slow, as if approaching a long-forgotten memory. The nurse whispered to Aarohi, "Look at him, so handsome, isn't he? A cricketer, right?"
Aarohi remained silent, her gaze fixed on Rudra's face, her heart pounding in her chest. As they drew closer, the sound of their footsteps stirred Rudra from his slumber. His eyes fluttered open, and he blinked, trying to adjust to the sudden light.
The nurse nudged Aarohi gently, urging her forward. Rudra's gaze fell upon her, and for a moment, he was frozen in disbelief. Aarohi, standing before him after five long years, seemed like a figment of his imagination.
But as the seconds passed, reality sank in, and a wave of emotions washed over Rudra. Hurt, anger, and the memories of their past flooded his mind, leaving him feeling raw and exposed. He clenched his fists, his jaw tensing as he struggled to contain his emotions.
Aarohi met his gaze, her own eyes reflecting a mixture of pain . She opened her mouth to speak, but no words came out. The air between them crackled with tension, heavy with the weight of their shared history.
Finally, Rudra found his voice, rough with emotion. "You," he whispered, his tone laced with bitterness."
Aarohi flinched at his words,But before she could respond, Rudra turned away, his gaze falling to the sterile white sheets beneath him.
The room fell silent, filled only with the sound of their ragged breathing, each lost in their own thoughts and regrets. Five years of separation had not dulled the intensity of their feelings, only served to amplify them, leaving them both grappling with the ghosts of their past.
The nurse said, "Hello, Mr. Sinha, how are you feeling now?" Rudra didn't respond, so she asked again, "Mr. Sinha, are you listening to me?" Rudra snapped back to reality and said, "Yeah, I'm fine." He was just trying to digest the fact that Aarohi, his past, was now his doctor.
The nurse continued, informing him, "Dr. Aarohi and I will be assisting you until you are here." Rudra just replied with a noncommittal "hmm."
Aarohi remained silent as the nurse handed her Rudra's file, instructing, "Dr. Aarohi, this is Mr. Sinha's file, check it out." Aarhi took the file and began examining it, while Rudra continuously stole glances at her, attempting to comprehend the situation. After a while, aarohi spoke up and said to the nurse, "Sister, check his BP and administer the prescribed medications, including iron and vitamins. Also, change all his bandages."
After administering the medication and checking Rudra's BP, the nurse gently attempted to make Rudra sit up on his bed and remove his shirt to change his bandages. However, Rudra hesitated and said, "No."
The nurse insisted, "Mr. Sinha, I have to do this. I need to change your bandages over your chest, back, or stomach, wherever they are."
Rudra continued to refuse, repeatedly saying, "No."
Aarohi, growing irritated, interjected, "Mr. Sinha, can't you just cooperate? It's our duty to do this, okay? She needs to remove your shirt to change the bandages, so please."
Rudra retorted, "Dr. Aarohi, then can I have some privacy from you?"
Aarohi responded curtly, "Fine, I'm leaving." She exited the room, leaving the nurse to proceed with changing Rudra's bandages.
Once the task was completed, the nurse called Aarohi back into the room. Aarohi reviewed Rudra's BP reports and stated, "Everything's fine, nurse. We can leave now."
The nurse agreed, saying, "Okay." When they were leaving, nurse turned to Rudra and complimented him, "Mr. Sinha, you are really handsome."
Rudra smirked and replied, "Thank you, nurse. You are very kind." He glanced at Aarohi before turning back to the nurse.
Aarohi, annoyed by the exchange, remarked to the nurse, "Sister, can we go now if you're done with your flirting?"
The nurse apologized, "Sorry,
Dr. Aarohi."
They both left the room.
After they both left, Rudra lay on the bed, consumed by frustration. "Why did I have to be admitted to this hospital? Why do I have to see her again after all these years?" Anger coursed through him, his emotions swirling.
As time passed, memories of him and Aarohi flooded his mind, each one more painful than the last. He clenched his fists, trying to push the memories away. "Don't think about that, don't think about that," he muttered to himself, attempting to regain control.
But then his thoughts drifted to their final day together, and the anger resurfaced with renewed intensity. "She is no one to me. I just hate her," he declared vehemently, his words echoing in the empty room.
When Jiya approached the reception area, Aarohi was already standing there. Jiya inquired, "Is everything fine? Did everything go well?"
Aarohi responded, "Somehow, yes."
Curious, Jiya asked, "Did he say something?"
Aarohi shook her head. "No. He was just normal, behaving like a patient. And I was just doing my job as a doctor."
Jiya contemplated for a moment before suggesting, "Maybe he just doesn't want to... Maybe he's regretting whatever happened that day and now he just doesn't want to talk about it."
Aarohi scoffed at the idea. "Regret? No way. He's not the type to dwell on past mistakes. Perhaps he'll regret why he's in this hospital, lying in front of me."
Whole day aarohi didn't went to check rudra , she was juat sending nurse for checking rudra.
But the last check up should be done by doctor so she had to go and check him.
When aarohi entered the room. She saw that nurse was already there and she is talking to rudra. As she entered rudra have a glanced at her and then  he again starts talking to nurse .
Aarohi asked the nurse is everything fine? Did you check all the reports and the nurse replied ,yes, everything is fine.
Then nurse said,Mr. Sinha , It's an miracle that you survived this accident , " kisi ki duaon ka asar h jo appse bahut byaar krta h "
But rudra repled harshly,"Jhooti duaon or jhoote pyaar se maut kayi guna aachi h "
The nurse looked at him with concern, her tone softening, " why are you saying such harsh words.
"Love is an empty promise that reminds us of loneliness" ,rudra said
But don't you have a girlfriend that you had....
before nurse can complete her line rudra stop him and he said but know i am fine as I'm meeting you , you are such a good friend, whats your name ??
The nurse fell really good and with a smile ,She said reena
Beautiful name ....
Thankuu mr. Sinha
Then rudra said , pls don't call me mr. sinha , just rudra.
Ok rudra.
Aarohi just getting irritating because of their Conversation and then she asked the nurse, miss reena ji , can we go , We have other patients to look after and then said okay Doctor and Reena said bye to the rudra,
Rudra said in sweet voice , bye reenaaa.
Rudra remained silent, lost in his own thoughts as they quietly exited the room.
