Author's pov~
The next morning, Myra went to Rudy's room so that they both can wenr to the classes together as they usually go, bu he had already left. This unexpected absence left her feeling uneasy.
Later, in class,when she entered , she noticed Rudy chatting with aarohi, that makes her feel disappointment, as she had expected him to accompany her.
Without saying anything, Myra proceeded directly to her bench. After a while, Teju entered the class.
Teju asked myra that why she is so well dressed today but myra didn't replied him.
When the teacher arrived, Rudra went to Myra's seat and sat beside her. Myra questioned Rudra, "Why didn't you call me this morning? We usually come together. Why did you come alone?" Rudra explained that he needed to clarify some doubts with Aarohi, which is why he arrived early.
After classes, Rudy informed Myra and Teju that he needed to go to the library with Aarohi to study early.
He left together with aarohi, leaving Myra visibly upset.
Teju noticed her mood and inquired what was wrong. Myra revealed that it was her birthday, and Rudy had forgotten for the first time in ten years. She couldn't help but feel hurt.
She also told Teju that its all because of that aarohi , she hates her more now .
In the evening, Teju suggested celebrating Myra's birthday and inviting Rudra along. However, Myra declined, stating there was no need to call rudy.
Just then, Myra received a call from Rudra, who informed her of an emergency and requested both Myra and Teju to come to his room. Urgently, they headed to Rudra's room, finding the lights off upon entering. Suddenly, the lights came on, revealing rudy standing there with a smile and a cake, singing the happy birthday song.
Myra was pleasantly surprised to realize that Rudra had never forgotten her birthday; it was all his plan to surprise her.
But she was more surprised about the presence of aarohi and priya there.
Myra cut the cake , they all ate and rudra had already ordered some snacks and coke for all.
RUDY'S POV ~
While eating, I presented Myra with a pair of sneakers as a gift. Teju expressed that he hadn't brought anything, explaining that he had been busy accompanying myra all day and promised to give a gift later.
Aarohi brought a chocolate box for Myra, mentioning that she hadn't known it was her birthday and it was the best she could manage as a gift. Myra responded rudely, stating that even the chocolate box was unnecessary as they weren't close friends.
After a while, Aarohi mentioned she was leaving, but I insisted she stay a bit longer, and we decided to play a game of truth or dare. When the bottle landed on me, Myra asked me a question. She ask whom I loved most , to which I replied, "It's the birthday girl, you, Myra." Myra was touched by my response and hugged me. After spinning again, the bottle pointed to Aarohi, so I asked her a question. I queried how many boyfriends she ever had. Aarohi was surprised by the question and then shesaid that she never had a boyfriend.
I was surprise but equally happy to know that she is single . [ "mann mai laddo futa ]
After getting bored of playing Truth or Dare, we decided to play some music and dance. With five of us, Teju paired with Priya, and I paired with Myra. Aarohi mentioned she didn't dance and sat on the sofa watching us. However, after some time, I insisted Aarohi to dance with me for just a moment.
Reluctantly, she agreed, and as we danced together, the song suddenly changed and it was

From now this song will be my favorite song .
Inthat moment, it felt like there were only the two of us in the entire world dancing together. It was a precious moment for me, as it was the first time I held her hands and we are dancing together. Our eyes met, and we gazed at each other without blinking, lost in the moment.
After that the music stopped . And i didn't realise that i was still holding aarohi's hand ,
so she said " haath chhorne ka irada nhi h kya "
Haaye .... bilkul nhi hai " i replied with a big smile.
Then she just take off her hand and went to talk with priya .
Then they both took their stuffs and were going towards the main door, i really dont want her to leave , but cant make her stay now.
Aarohi's pov
After the dance, Priya and I were preparing to leave. As we reached the door, Rudra approached me and inquired, "What if I have doubts about the questions you provided today?" I responded, "You can ask me about them tomorrow." However, he insisted on addressing them that day. I replied, "What do you suggest I do?" He then requested my contact information, stating, "Just give me your number. If I encounter any doubts, I'll call or message you." Feeling perplexed, I conceded, saying, "I don't have a reason to refuse." Subsequently, I provided him with my number.
After Priya and I left, she went to her room opposite mine, while I settled into bed, reflecting on what Rudra had said while we were dancing. He expressed how good he felt in that moment and how it would be unforgettable and precious. I couldn't shake off these words, questioning why he said them and if I misheard. As I tried to sleep, thoughts of him consumed me - his deep eyes, the way he looked at me while dancing, and the unique feeling when he held my hand. I couldn't understand why I felt drawn to him or what was happening to me.
I don't know, but I think I should keep distance from him. And obviously, I'm not here to build any kind of relationship.
After some days , the next exam held , and next day of that result came.
I directly went to the notice board and don't know but i checked Rudra's result first and he passed this time , i was happy for him and eventually i forget to check mine .
Author's pov:
Rudra was sitting with myra and teju in his room playing games when his phone rang , it was his father's call.
His father start scolding him for his marks as he just passed by 2 marks . He said that he is so ashamed of him .
After saying very bad words to rudra at last his father said " isse accha to meri koi aulaad hi nhi hoti" and then he cut the call .
This made rudra very upset that he was about to cry but to hide his tears from myra and teju he asked them to leave.
Why they both ask rudy , whst happened??.
He shouted on them and said can't u just leave me alone?
After that they both left.
Rudra was just trying to control his tears from falling but he cant.
After that his door bell rang he didn't open the door , but when he heard the voice," hello mister open the door its me aarohi".
After hearing that voice he opened the door , aarohi was standing there with a chocolate box .
Aarohi came inside and said Congrats u passed , so i brought u a chocolate.
Rudy didn't replied her, so she asked him what happened, why your eyes are so red. Are u okk??
Rudy again didn't said anything but this time , he hugged aarohi.
Aarohi was shocked and said what are u doing??.
"Pls don't say anything and let me stay like this for some time" , rudra said in a very slow voice.
After listeningto him she hugged her back and then she said "its ok , I'm here with u , everything will be fine".
Her words made rudy's tears fall from his eyes and he start crying in aarohi's arm and hugged her more tightly and then he fall asleep ih her arms.
Aarohi was just trying to make him feel better.
After some time rudy wake up and saw that aarohi was still hugging her and she also felt sleep.
He keep looking at her , then aarohi wake up and stand from the sofa and said she had some work so she is leaving .
But rudra insist her to stay a little longer and said u brought a chocolate for me aren't u going eat it with me.
Then she opened the chocolate and they both start eating.
Then rudy said sorry to her for making her uncomfortable but she said it ok . Then she asked him , why are u feeling so said?
He said, "my father , he never understands me , he scolded me for my marks .....
But u passed and u got 103 marks more then the last time , aarohi said to him.
You know my previous marks ...
Yes ofcourse, your name was at the end of the list last time , aarohi said in a sarcastic way.
Rudy laughed on this and said but still my father is not happy .
But I'm, and i know you'll get better next time.
By listening to her , rudy said thankuu so much . And for this chocolate too "bournvilla dark chocolate " , its going to be my favorite from now.
Its already my favorite, she replied.
And they keep talking for hours about what they like and what not and so on.....
