Abey Jay, what all languages you know?” Nitin.“I watch all language movies, I can watch any movie, I love watching movies” Jay.“Tell me any Marathi movie you watched?” Nitin.“mmmm….well, I don’t think I have watched any Marathi movie till date,” Jay.“arererere… this is not fair, Mita, make him sit with you this weekend and show him your best Marathi movie,” Jay.“I can watch but Mita should watch it too right?” Jay smiled.“And I completely agree with what Prachi said. Watching movie is one of the best ways to learn a language faster, you will get to know the correct pronunciations as well,” Jay looked at Mita.“mmm…yeah ..but I don’t like wasting my time by watching movies. I mean I love watching movies but not all the time, only if it is romantic comedy or if suspense or if my fav actors or if the music is good, or…” Mita.“So many or and ifs..You mean, Jay is wasting his time by watching movies? Arerere,” Nitin started pulling Mita’s leg.“Oh no, I did not mean that. I would prefer reading a story rather than watching it. It increases your imagination power you know…and…it helps in... ” Mita.“Ha ha ha.. one more excuse of not learning a language,” Nitin.“Anyhow I would learn that Nitin,” Mita.“I know you will, I am just kidding,” Nitin.From that day Mita started watching movies with Jay. She would watch a complete movie only if she thought it is interesting, otherwise she would just accompany him.-------------------------------------After few days, in office:“Hey Mita, come let’s go for lunch. I am damn hungry,” Prachi.“Hello?? Mita??” Prachi tapped on Mita’s shoulder.“Ohh yeah, sorry,” Mita.“Where were you lost?” Prachi.“Nothing serious Prachi”, Mita.“Come on, tell me” Prachi.“You know, this Sunday is Jay’s birthday,” Mita.“Ohh yeah, that’s cool. Another reason to party, but what were you thinking then?” Prachi.“That’s what Prach. See we both are always together, here in office and at home too. Where, when and how will I plan a surprise?” Mita in worried tone.“Oh right. But Mita, you are the Queen of Surprises. I know that you will manage,” Prachi.“But how?? This time it seems to be difficult. This is Jay’s first birthday since we are in relationship so I wanted to do something special for him,” Mita.“You will definitely do something super special. Now, let’s go for lunch. Please!” Prachi.“Ok,” Mita smiled and got up from her chair.--------------------------------------------Saturday Morning:“Wow, anything special today?” Nitin.“Why??” Prachi.“Because today, there are two items for breakfast, Upma and Peas curry. Or is this curry prepared for lunch?” Nitin.“Well, you can have it with Upma or you can have it at lunch” Prachi.“Means? I did not understand,” Nitin with confused face.“Means. This is a special breakfast for Mr. Jay by Ms. Mita,” Prachi.“Really? Are we not supposed to eat then?” Nitin made his face like a kid.“Stupid, aam khao na, guthaliyon ke daam kyon chahiye?” Prachi.“Aam? Mangoes? Wow, where are the mangoes?” Nitin.“Oh God!!” Prachi got irritated.“Of course, this is for everyone. Jay doesn’t like to eat only Upma, he likes some curry with it, especially green peas curry. He loves it. So, I prepared both. You can try the same combination or eat only Upma, choice is yours!!!” Mita explained.“Wow yar, kya pyaar hai. We get bonus food because of your love Mita. Keep rocking!!” Nitin gave a flying kiss to Mita.“Come on Jay, your favourite peas curry and Upma is ready,” Nitin called seeing Jay coming towards the living room.Jay joined them and started enjoying breakfast.“Listen Jay, I need a favour. Will you come with me for a shopping? I need to buy few shirts,” Nitin.Prachi raised her eyebrows at Nitin and about to say something that’s when Mita poked her with an elbow.“Why with me? I don’t like spending time for shopping,” Jay.Nitin got confused and looked at Mita. She widened her eyes and gestured at him to try again. Prachi understood everything.“Come on yar, anyways it is Saturday. Other than watching movies what else you will do? Instead, you can help me out” Nitin insisted.“But why sudden plan of shopping?” Jay.“Arre nothing special. I noticed that you really have a good choice of formal shirts. And I don’t have many. So, thought to buy some,” Nitin looked at Mita proudly thinking this trick worked.“These days my most of the shirts are bought by Mita. You should take her with you for your shopping,” Jay.Prachi tried hard to control laugh but couldn’t so she started coughing.“Ye le, Pani Pi,” Nitin held a glass in front of Prachi and looked at Mita with helpless expressions.“Me?? No no, I can’t come today. I need to clean my wardrobe today, Jay, Please go with him, first time he is asking your help?” Mita tried to control the situation.“First time?? Really?” Jay with serious tone.“I mean, he rarely asks for such help, isn’t it?” Mita tried to cover up.“Hmm…. Ok. Get ready then,” Jay finished his breakfast and got up.“Yes yes my Lord, I won’t take your much time. Thank you so much,” Nitin winked his eyes at Mita.“Well done my friend. Now make sure that you take his lots of time. Don’t come back home so soon. At least till evening,” Mita.“Don’t worry Mita darling. Tumhare Jay ko to main Paris ke chakkar ghumata rahunga,” Nitin.“Wapas aana na bhulana chakkar laganeke chakkar main,” Prachi.“hahahahaaha!”Nitin and Jay left for shopping.
