You didn’t sleep yet??” Mita.“Yes beta, actually I wanted to discuss something important,” Papa.“Anything serious??” Mita.“Nothing serious, actually I went to see the auspicious dates for your marriage,” Papa.“Ohh wow,” Mita.“I thought it was Jay's birthday, a good day to start checking for the dates,” Papa.“So what are the dates?” Mita was curious now.“Panditaji gave four dates, one is next month, 2 dates in sept and one more in Oct, after that directly Dec.” Papa.“Ohh next month would be too early, I will discuss with Jay,” Mita.“I have already messaged the dates to Appa. You guys discuss and let me know,” Papa.“Ok Papa, I will call you tomorrow,” Mita.“One more thing I forgot to tell you. When I met Appa in Bangalore, we discussed horoscope matching,” Papa.“Ohh then?” Mita didn’t expect this.“Then, I clearly told him that I already did that,” Papa.“Ohh no..then??” Mita.“Why beta? See I think Sept is fine. We have two dates..we can decide any of those days.”Jay thought for a while, “hmmm, ok, I will talk to Appa later in the afternoon.”Both reached the office and went to their respective desks.Mr. Johns called Mita and talked about some changes in the project delivery plan.“Mita, the customer wants your module on priority, so it has to be ready for testing by next week.”“Sure, it will be done,” Mita thought for a while, calculated the time and agreed.She came back to her desk, prioritized the tasks accordingly and started working harder.------Night at Home:After preparing dinner with Prachi, Mita went back to her room and connected to office work.Jay was watching a movie.“Why is nobody talking about food today? Are you guys not hungry??” Nitin came out of his room.“Let’s set the table,” Prachi called Jay. He came out,“Where is Mita?”“She is doing office work, let me call her” Prachi.Mita joined everyone at the dining table.“Daal, rice and potato fry, no chapati today??” Jay.“I was about to ask the same question,” Nitin.“Sorry guys, there is a change in my module release so I have to finish some tasks on priority. Couldn’t make chapati today,” Mita.“No problem,” Nitin and Jay.“I will make phulkas tomorrow,” Prachi.“Thanks,” Mita smiled.After having dinner. Mita sat on the sofa with Jay. She continued her work and he was watching a movie. Nitin cleaned the vessels and went back to his room.Jay noticed that Mita was working so seriously. She had tied her hair in a messy bun. Jay was in a mischievous mood. He started playing with Mita’s hair.“Kanna, you are distracting me, I have to finish something important,” Mita said without looking at him.“Come on Mita, your eyes need some rest, you look tired,” Jay.“Really??” She raised her eyebrows, nodded her head and then continued working.“This is not done Mita, you should enjoy your personal life too,” Jay.“Hehehe, look who is telling me, few more mins Jay, I am almost done,” Mita.Finally, Mita shut down her laptop and was about to leave, “Ok Jay, Good night!!”“Ohh no Mita, sit with me for some more time,” Jay.“But I was sitting with you only?” Mita.“You were working,” Jay.“Yeah and you were watching a movie,” Mita.“Sit with me naa, this movie is nice, you will like it,” Jay made her sit on the sofa again.“Someone was really worried about my eyes sometime back and now asking me to watch a movie,” Mita.“Ohh that’s ok, this is a nice one, see I will tell you the background,” Jay explained to her the storyline.Seeing the excitement in Jay’s eyes, Mita couldn’t say no and sat with him to watch the movie. Jay wrapped his hand around Mita’s neck. Both were enjoying the movie. After a few minutes, some emotional scene was going on. Mita sensed something wet on her hand,“from where these water drops came??” She thought for a while and looked at Jay. She was shocked,“Oh my God!! ….. Kanna…. You are crying?????”Jay was actually crying while watching the emotional scene.“Alelelele, ohhhh no..my baby is crying….” Mita was so surprised to see Jay like that, she hugged and pacified him. She wiped his tears and brushed her nose against his.“My dear Kanna, you are so cuteee… I have never seen a guy crying like this,..you are so emotional.. ..” She hugged him again.Jay was smiling, “Yeah, Mita, I can’t handle too many emotions…so couldn’t control my tears!”“I have always seen the practical side of yours but today, I could see you are so cute and sensitive like a kid.
