Mita worked harder than before and finished the implementation of her module. Mr. John appreciated her work,“Thanks for your hard work, Mita. This module was really important. Thank you for delivering it on time!!”“My pleasure Mr. John,” Mita was so happy. Jay was feeling so proud. After reaching back home Mita thought to lie down for sometime,“Prach, I will take a rest, after some time, we will make dinner!”“No problem,” Prachi.Mita started reading a book.It was 8:30 pm Jay was sitting on the sofa taking a laptop, watching some usual stuff. He waited for Mita but she still did not come out. He sent her a message but no response. After some time, Prachi came out and started working in the kitchen.“Hey Prachi, where is Mita, she didn’t reply to my message,” Jay.“She is sleeping,” Prachi.“Sleeping?? Now?? She never sleeps at this time, is she fine?” Jay was worried.“Yeah, I think so, must be really tired, I thought not to disturb her,” Prachi.“hmmm…right!” Jay.“I will make khichdi now,” Prachi.“Ok,” Jay went back to his room.Mita woke up to the pressure cooker whistles and came out in a hurry.“Hey Prachi, you could wake me up,” Mita tied her hair in a bun and was taking plates.“I called you a couple of times but you were in deep sleep,” Prachi.“Ohhhkkk,”Mita.“Dinner is ready!!” Prachi called everyone.Jay and Nitin came to the living room.“Mita, are you ok??” Jay.“yeah, just feeling so tired, don’t worry,” Mita.“Are you sure??” Jay.“Yes, of course!” Mita.“Mita, jaldi thik ho jao, I am missing your chapatis, This rice will again start giving me family packs, you know na, how hard I have been working on my abs!!” Nitin.“I prepared rotis last week when Mita was busy,” Prachi gave him a look.“ha meri ma, you prepared, dhanyavaad, but those were phulkas, I am missing Mita’s special chapati!!” Nitin.“Ha Mita, even I am missing your Chapati with Chai, it tastes awesome, my favourite breakfast…haaaa,” Prachi.“Ok guys, this Saturday I will prepare Chai-Chapati for you all!!” Mita. Next morning in the office, Papa called Mita to confirm the wedding date.“Beta, we have to start preparation for your marriage, cloth shopping, jewellery shopping, wedding hall booking, list of guests, caterers, gifts and what not.”“Yes Papa, we understand, September is fine for us. Jay talked to Appa,” Mita.“Beta, I gave two dates on September, 7th and 14th which one should we consider?”“Papa, as our marriage ceremony is in Kolhapur, Appa said only few close relatives will be able to come to attend. So, he was thinking of having a Reception ceremony in Chennai for all his relatives and friends,” Mita.“hmmm… ok then we will fix 7th as a wedding date, 14th is also an auspicious date, so they can plan the reception on 14th. I will also discuss with Appa,” Papa.“Sounds good Papa!” Mita.“Ok beta, then 7th Sept is final. You guys, talk to your boss for leave permissions,” Papa.“Ok Papa!”Mita met Jay during tea break and told him the details.“Wow guys, Congratulations, now the date is fixed,” Prachi and Nitin.“Thank you!!” Jay and Mita.“We will discuss leave plans with Mr John soon,” Jay.“yeah we need to..” Mita. Friday night after dinner:Mita was feeling really tired these days. She couldn’t understand the reason.“I used to do lots of house and office work but I never felt this much fatigue,” Mita.“You work so hard my love, you need rest, come here, sit with me,” Jay.“No Kanna, I don’t want to watch any movie, Idea.... let’s discuss the leave plan,” Mita.“Leave Plan?? Ohh no Mita, That we will do with Mr. John,” Jay.“That’s right but we will also make some plans, before talking to Mr. John,” Mita.“What plans??” Jay.“See, I am very sure that we will not get leaves for more than a month, say 4 weeks we get, ok??” Mita.“okk…then??” Jay.“Then we will go one week before our marriage, that is on 1st Sept.. so that we get a week to prepare, right?” Mita.“Right, then??” Jay.“Then you will come with all relatives in Kolhapur for marriage..I mean Dulha and Baratis.. Then you stay there for a week. This way we both can spend time with our families. After that, we all will leave for Chennai, for the reception on 14th. Then the remaining week we will go somewhere to roam…..and..” Mita.“You mean honeymoon??” Jay winked his eye.“mmm….aaaa maybe ..I mean..not really, I was making such a plan to spend maximum time with our families….” Mita.“hmmmmm..how unromantic,” Jay was disappointed.“My dear Kanna, once we are back here in Paris, it will be our all time honeymoon, isn’t it??” Mita pulled his nose and messed up his hair.“hmmm….right..but not here.." Jay."Not here?? Then where??" Mita. we will shift to a new house,” Jay.“Is it really necessary to shift? Can’t we stay here? I mean Nitin and Prachi will feel bad,” Mita.“Ofcourse we need to. After marriage, you and me in separate rooms? Or you want to spend our lives on this sofa?? No way..I can’t leave without my wife,” Jay.Mita started laughing, “My wife???…..ohhhooo.....sounds so cute.…but leaving these guys will be very difficult for me..I am emotionally attached with them,” Mita.“That’s true, but even they would understand for sure.. let’s do one thing..let’s shift before marriage,” Jay.“What? Before marriage? No way..” Mita.“Listen to me first na Mita,” Jay.“hm..ok, tell me,” Mita.“See, we will start searching for a new house now..I am sure we will finalize one in the next couple of months, then just before we leave for India for our marriage, we will shift our luggage. Then once we are back, Mr and Mrs Jay will enter their new house,” Jay explained his idea.“Newly wedded couple in a new house, our new journey..wow Jay, this sounds awesome,” Mita.“Thank you, I know I am smart..and then in that new house, only me and my beautiful wife,” Jay took Mita in his arms and closed his eyes.“Ok ok Mr Husband, enough of your imaginations now. Let’s go to sleep. And I am really feeling sleepy now,” Mita.“Okkk my wifey..I will meet you in my dreams..till then good night. See you tomorrow,” As usual, Jay kissed on her forehead and went to sleep.Mita also came to her room and saw that Prachi was asleep already. Mita slowly got into her bed and lied down. She lost into her own thoughts,“Wow!!! I am getting married to Jay on 7th September. I am so happy!!” She opened her social media account, changed her relationship status to “Engaged”, Removed the current profile picture and uploaded a new one with Jay, and slept off!!!!Early in the morning she woke up to a phone call, “Seema?? Now??”“Hello Seema darling? It's a weekend. I wanted to sleep more” Mita.“Mita, Is everything ok?” Seema.“Yes, absolutely. What happened?” Mita was confused.“My dear drama queen, You have changed your relationship status in your social media account,” Seema.“hmm.. yeah, our marriage date is fixed so I was so excited you know…so…” Mita.“Whattt?? The date is fixed? And you didn’t even tell me??” Seema.“I was about to inform you of all the details. It only got fixed yesterday. Didn’t I mail you the detailed updates about Jay’s birthday last week??” Mita.“Yeah yeah…Madam.. you are on fire.. Did you see how many comments and likes you have got?? People are in shock..” Seema.“Really? I didn’t see. I just woke up,” Mita.“Yeah darling, check it.. by the way..you both look so hot together… such a lovely couple..Rab ne bana di jodi…ummmaaaaahhh…” Seema.“Really?? Do you really think so??” Mita.“Of course. And not only me, many people think so..go and check the comments… by the way, Veer is really upset with you,” Seema.“Why so??” Mita.“Because you broke his heart!!!” Seema.“Ohh shut up..he broke my heart first. You guys are enjoying there….tell him that I am upset with him,” Mita.Both started laughing!!!!“My god Mita…6 months back..do you remember, you got this project and met Jay..that time did you ever know you would marry him??” Seema remembered the old days.“You are right Seema, I never thought that it would happen so fast. You know, miracles can happen any time!!! ” Mita.“I know…just like it happened to me. Because of you, I met Veer!!” Seema.“Right, now I am waiting for your marriage too!!” Mita.“Yes, you will get it soon,” Seema.“Really??” Mita.“Yes, inspired by you ….we both are about to talk with our parents soon,” Seema.“That’s cool. Seema, we are best friends. See we fell in love almost at the same time and now will get married too!!” Mita.“Yes my dear..Tell me now what's your next plan??,” Seema.“We are going to discuss our leave plans with Mr. John next week,” Mita.“Ohhho...Okk then, Alllll the best…!!!” Seema.“Thankkk you!!
