Tring Tring “Hello..”“Hello Beta, how are you doing??”“I am fine Papa,” Mita.“Guess, where are we right now?” Papa.“Where Papa?” Mita.“Guess it beta,” Papa.“Ohho, don’t trouble her. She must be busy in her office now,” Mom.“Oh right, sorry,” Papa.“Beta, we are at your favourite God, Lord Ganesha’s temple,” Papa.“Ohh ok,” Mita.“Now tell me why are we here??” Papa asked again.“Ohfo, I told you right she must be busy. And you are again asking her questions,” Mom gave him an angry look.“Oh sorry sorry, Beta, we are here to invite God for your wedding,” Papa.“What??” Mita.“I mean, we are about to start inviting people for your wedding so as per ritual, we will be giving the first invitation to God. After that we will start visiting our neighbours and relatives,” Papa.Mita was sad, she did not understand what to say.“Why are you quite beta, I thought after hearing this, you will be excited,” Papa.“Wait, give me a phone. Let me talk to her,” Mom.Mom took the phone.“Mita, how are you beta,” Mom.After hearing Mom’s voice Mita could not control her tears. She was choked and couldn’t say a word.“Beta, is everything fine?” Mom was worried.“Yes Mom, just that I am busy now, can’t talk in the office much,” Mita somehow tried to cover up.“Don’t lie beta, you sound dull. And I had a dream about you yesterday, you were crying, is everything fine between you and Jay?” Mom.Mita was shocked to hear that, “How Mom always gets to know everything??”“No mumma, I mean yes mumma, all is well, I will talk to you later, going for a meeting bye,” Mita disconnected the call.“What happened?” Papa tapped on Mom’s shoulder.“I think Mita was upset. She is hiding something from us,” Mom.“She must be busy. They have just 2 more days to finish their work, after that they have to travel right?” Papa.“But,” Mom.“No but and all, let’s go now. We have so much work. Come on!” Mummy and Papa started visiting relatives and neighbours to invite them for Jay & Mita wedding. Here, Jay was also feeling sad. He did not understand what to do. He knew it was his mistake, but he had apologized to Mita many times, “What else I should do. She is just not ready to listen.”Even though the four were together, it was just Nitin and Prachi who used to talk. After reaching home, Prachi called them all for dinner.“Prach, I don’t want dinner today,” Mita.“’Why? You have an acidity problem Mita. Eat some rice at least,” Prachi.“No Prachi, please don’t insist. I just don’t feel like eating now,” Mita.“hmm, ok, as you wish,” Prachi.Jay also refused to have dinner. Prachi and Nitin had their food and went back to sleep. Mita could not sleep for a long time. Finally, she got up from her bed. Slowly took her diary and pen and started writing her and Jay’s journey. How they met, how they fell in love and how they planned to get married.She wrote about the day she met him,  How she greeted him with a cheerful smile but Jay showed her so called attitude.She wrote about the morning when she wished him good morning but he was so busy in his work that he just wished her as a formality.She wrote about the day when Jay initiated the conversation, which was only about their work.She wrote about the day how Jay made a plan of staying them all together.She wrote how Jay came to the airport to pick them up.She wrote how Jay gave her a coin to make a phone call in case she gets lost in Paris streets.She wrote how Jay held her hand and crossed the road without making her realize that she could meet with an accident.She wrote how Jay talked to her on the phone the whole night when she could not sleep alone.She wrote how Jay helped her and took care of everything.She wrote how Jay used to skip his meal just because he used to get engrossed in his work..She wrote how Jay used to watch movies and laugh or cry like a kid.She wrote about the day they had a big fight and how he apologized to her..She wrote everything………Her eyes were full of tear…….she realized….“Jay has always been like that. When he is working, he does not realize anything. And Nobody is perfect. Why am I trying to change him?  I am not perfect...It is all about understanding each other. We should forgive each other and forget such things quickly. She got an answer….She came out of her room and went to the living room. Jay was not there…She looked here and there. She knew Jay would not have slept now. She was searching for him here and there. Then she went to the balcony…And saw Jay there….standing in the balcony, lost in his own thoughts…looking at the streets….She ran towards him and hugged him from behind, burst into tears.Jay turned towards her, held her face in his palms and kissed her tears. They hugged each other…..Wedding bells started ringing… To be continued….  Â
