“What?? 10 missed calls? Let me see,” Mita.“Madam, aapke haath me to mehendi lagi hai,” Seema.“Ohh no, Seema, can you please dial his number?” Mita.“Of course, Rani Sarkar,” Seema.“Rani Sarkar?? Hahaha, Seema you are so funny!! I can see Veer’s effect on you,” Mita.“Hehehehe,” Seema blushed.“Ok Ok, now dial his number please,” Mita.Seema dialled Jay’s number and kept it on speaker.“The number you have dialled is switched off!”“Ohh no, how could I forget this??” Mita.“Forget what?” Seema.“Jay was supposed to travel today,” Mita.“Travel where?” Seema.“Ohho Seema, here, to Kolhapur, they all were supposed to travel today evening. We are getting married after 2 days, right??” Mita.“Oh yeah, you told me today morning about his travel plan,” Seema.“See, then I forgot completely, I didn’t even wish him happy journey,” Mita was sad.“Awww, don’t worry Mita darling, you can message him,” Seema.“But how? See my hands,” Mita showed her mehendi wale hands to Seema.“As if I don’t know. Do you talk to Veer like this??”“Not exactly but somewhat,” Seema shrugged her shoulder.“Okk, nice! but we never talk to each other like that,” Mita.“Really?? How boring!!” Seema.“Ok, do one thing, just put a heart emoji, ok??” Mita.“That’s it? I will put kissing emoji also??” Seema.“hmmmmm, ok,”“Do you girls feel hungry or not?? Its 9:30 pm now,” Mom entered Mita’s room with plates in her hand.“No auntie, it’s been long we haven’t chatted like this,” Seema.“I can understand. Now only you get that chance. Once you get married, you will be busy in your own lives. Women’s life is like that only. I don’t even know where my friends are. And now see my cute little Mita, didn’t even realize when she grew up, started working and now getting married,” Mom had tears in her eyes.“Ohho Mom, why are you making us cry??” Mita started crying.“Ohh Pihu, you too??” Seema noticed that Pihu was standing behind mom with another plate in her hand.Everybody became emotional.“I know Mom, our lives will change. But I promise, we will be in touch. See in your times, there was no internet, no what’s app, no facebook, no video calls, that’s why it was difficult to be in touch. But now it is easy. Tell me your friend’s names, I will search them on facebook. I am sure, we will get at least couple of them,” Pihu.“Pihu, you are great!!”Everybody started laughing. They had dinner together. Seema, Mom, Pihu fed Mita with their hands.Later Mom and Pihu left for other work.Mita and Seema were chatting till midnight. Both shared their love stories details with each other.“Tell me one thing Mita, doesn’t that bother you,” Seema.“What??”“Your and Jay’s mother tongues are different. Doesn’t it bother you that you can’t express your love in your mother tongue?? Seema.“Very good question,” Mita.“Then Mita darling, give me a very good answer,”“You know Seema, I never thought about it. Love itself is a language, which can be understood by all of us. So, I actually never felt that barrier. I mean yes, there are some instances where I might feel to express in my language but same would be the case with Kannan isn’t it?? And that’s not a big deal. We manage. What if we have a same culture, mother tongue but there is no love?? In that case, no conversation would help our relationship to grow, right??” Mita.“My my, such a deep thought. I am so proud of you!!” Seema.“Thank you thank you!!”They were engrossed in their stories and didn’t even realise when slept off.  ****Seema got up little early and left for her home as she had to come back later for bangle ceremony.Mita was still sleeping. Around 7:30 am she woke up and checked her phone,“I am in your Kolhapur. He ha hoo!!” Jay.Mita smiled, “Wow, finally Kannan reached here. I am so excited to meet him today afternoon.”She got up from her bed and came downstairs. She drank some water and then went to the living room. It was little dark in the room.“Nobody woke up yet?? Why the doors, windows and the curtains are still closed? What’s wrong? Where is everyone??” She started looking here and there and then suddenly she noticed someone was sleeping on the sofa.
