Dear Reader, First of all, I would like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for reading this story- my very first novel. I am so overwhelmed with your feedback that I have to write this special note to thank you all.  Also, I would like to share something more with you about this story. The prequel- How They Met:  I decided to write this story as part of Novel writing Challenge on Pratilipi, last year- June 2021. But due to hectic work schedule and the strict deadline to submit the novel, I wrote that in a hurry and couldn’t finish the story. Hence, I came up with an idea to write a sequel – How They Married..!!.After submitting “How They Met”, in the next couple of months, I received a certificate for participating in this Novel Writing Challenge. I was so happy to receive that!!! Then I got busy with my personal and professional life and completely forgot about writing the sequel…. But one day I got a message from a reader- Ashwati Nair. She messaged, “What happened Next???”This message made me think, “What if I was reading a story and it was incomplete? How would I feel?? Definitely not good!” So, I decided to start writing “How They Married..” and complete the story. Doesn’t matter if just one person reads that..!!So, Thank you so much Ashwati for your comment!!! It really made me come back!!For the first few parts itself I received lots of support stickers, messages and comments ratings. I didn’t expect this kind of positive response and was so happy to see that readers were able to connect to the story, the characters and were curious to know what happened next. I also got messages asking if Mita would die in the end. Such comments surely made me happy that readers are so much connected with the story. But at the same time, it made me a responsible writer. It taught me that I should be very careful while writing, and should be considering readers' emotions too!! This kept me going and finally I could complete it today.It took me one and half years to write this complete story (One and half year for actual writing and 5 years just running through my mind). Even though I always wanted to write it down, it is only and only because of your comments & messages that I could finish it today. So, BIG BIG Thank you to you all.Lastly, many people messaged me and asked if it is a real story?? Just because so many readers asking me this question and I don't want to disappoint them- YES!!! It is based on a true story. However, the names, places, characters and some incidents are changed for obvious reasons and to make the story more interesting.In real life, Jay is Malayali and Mita is Marathi.Coincidently, today, Mita & Jay are celebrating their 12th Wedding Anniversary!!!!!Thank you again for all your love.
