Chapter 255 - Male Fox

Feng Linbai had long guessed that Jiang Yu wouldn’t come over. If she doesn’t go to him, he would go to her. Anything wrong with that?

Guan Hongshun massaged his forehead.

Over this short period of time, he has seen much of this former cold-faced student of his. He was as glib as a fox-spirit now.

Every time he saw them together, he felt like his understanding of Feng Linbai grew deeper every time.

Although it looked like Jiang Yu was not affected by any of his attacks, in his eyes, Feng Linbai seemed to have accumulated a bunch of skills but he has not managed to hook his target. However, it seemed that Feng Linbai was enjoying himself?

Feng Linbai was slowly becoming more and more straightforward. Even as Guan Hongshun sat there, he felt anxious.

However, he could not leave. After all, every time Feng Linbai came to the Jiang family, he would use him as an excuse.

Guan Hongshun felt that he should support Feng Linbai this time. The barren tree has finally blossomed. He couldn’t let this little sapling die, could he?

Jiang Yu didn’t say anything. Guan Hongshun cleared his throat and said, “You can sit over here.”

Feng Linbai walked over and sat down right next to Jiang Yu.

He stared at Jiang Yu with his dark eyes and said in a deep voice, “My Yu’er, why are you so beautiful?”

Jiang Yu said thoughtfully, “Perhaps you would like to attend a beauty pageant?”

Feng Linbai placed his hand behind Jiang Yu’s back and said coldly, “How can any of those powder-caked mannequins compare to Yu’er?”

Jiang Yu: “I actually don’t wear any powder.”

Guan Hongshun: “Pffft.”

Feng Linbai could still continue. “Yu’er is already so good-looking even without any powder on. If she were to dress up again, those women would probably feel ashamed of themselves.”

Guan Hongshun silently gave a thumbs up.

Awesome.

Really awesome.

Up until now, he has never seen a girl as obtuse as Jiang Yu, unmoved by the seduction of a male fox. Moreover, the other party was a fox who was trying all sorts of tricks to hook her… Guan Hongshun felt that if he was a girl and had been a few decades younger, he probably wouldn’t be able to resist this male fox.

Jiang Yu’s face did not show any signs of attraction though.

Guan Hongshun sighed in his heart.

This brat has a long way to go in pursuing his love.

Jiang Yu frowned. “Are you sick today? Or do you have something you need my help with?”

Otherwise, why would he be giving her so many compliments? He probably wanted her help with something.

Feng Linbai originally wanted to say, “I am indeed sick. Every time I see Yu’er, I feel like I’m cured. Only Yu’er can cure me.”

He thought about it and decided not to. If he really said that, Jiang Yu would probably take him seriously and conclude that he wasn’t ill but mentally retarded. She might even get him to do another test.

So, Feng Linbai changed the topic. “It’s not that. I just had a thought.”

Jiang Yu thought for a moment. “Were you triggered by something? Did you meet a bad client today?”

This was the only explanation she could think of.

Perhaps Feng Linbai had met someone and that was why he said he needed to wash his eyes.

What Jiang Yu didn’t know was that it was extremely difficult for anybody to secure a meeting with Feng Linbai. If they didn’t pass the screening process, they wouldn’t appear in front of him.

He didn’t have the time to meet with all these unimportant people. As for the naysayers in the company, they had already been dealt. There was no such possibility.

Feng Linbai had an idea. He lowered his eyes and said in a low voice, “Not really. I haven’t gone to see them yet but I don’t really want to.”

Jiang Yu was not curious, but Guan Hongshun asked, “Why don’t you want to see them?”
