It was then that Jiang Xingyi realized her existence. He said embarrassedly, “Leshan, please give me a moment. I just had a burst of inspiration.”

“Okay, I won’t disturb you,” Qiao Leshan said straightforwardly.

She knew his rules. He didn’t like to be disturbed while he was writing songs, and he also didn’t like to be interrupted which might affect his train of thought.

In the past, Jiang Xingyi would occasionally do the same. As he continued to write, he would sometimes work well into the night, regardless of whether the sky was dark or the earth was dark.

If they had made an appointment for dance practice, Jiang Xingyi would take into account the fact that she had made a special trip and declined or pushed back other work arrangements. Even if she was asked to wait and they ended up not practicing, he would still pay her the money and make an appointment for the next time.

She said, “I’m free tonight, I can extend the training time.”

Jiang Xingyi said gently, “Thank you, Leshan.”

Qiao Leshan smiled and patted Jiang Xingyi’s shoulder as usual. “Why are we still discussing such things between us?”

Jiang Xingyi nodded. “That’s true.”

Qiao Leshan thought to herself that Jiang Xingyi would never show such a warm expression to other female artists. She was special, to begin with.

Qiao Leshan snapped her fingers. “It seems like you aren’t affected by that incident online. I’m relieved. However, are those things online true?”

She pretended to be indifferent but she was secretly nervous about Jiang Xingyi’s answer.

“Which one are you talking about?”

“Aiya, it’s just that one piece of news. It said that you fell in love and even got the other party pregnant.” Qiao Leshan whistled. “Kid, you’re amazing. You got the other party pregnant quite effortlessly.”

Jiang Xingyi did not respond.

Qiao Leshan’s heart skipped a beat, and she said exaggeratedly, “It can’t be. Are you saying they’re right?”

“How many things on the Internet do you think are true?”

“Then, what does Brother Wu plan to do?”

Jiang Xingyi joked, “He’s already done his part. Shouldn’t he just let me go already?”
