"So how is everything going?" Abhimaan sat beside Ayaan who was reading some physiology books and sipping on his coffee.

Ayaan looked up at Abhimaan and then gazed at the sky. They're sitting on the attached balcony of Ayaan's room.

"Ayaan" Abhimaan placed his hand over Ayaan's thigh and Ayaan sighed.

"Everything is okay bhai" he tried to smile then gaze back at his book.

"You tell how was everything there? Any girlfriend or more than this?" Ayaan smiled sheepishly at Abhimaan who lowered his eyes and smiled.

"No. There were not a single girl who touched my heart"

"Uhhh bad so bad bhai. You wasted three years" Ayaan made a sad face and both of them chuckled.

"What about you? You're in lo..."

"What seriously bhai? Noone."

"Don't lie Ayaan. I've heard there is something going on between you and a girl named Suhani or something?"

Ayaan looked at Abhimaan with wide eyes.

"Suhani is just a good friend, also his father knows Bade Papa from so long. They both want this. She is also practicing in our hospital" Ayaan shrugged and offered the coffee mug to Abhimaan, who take it with a smile then sipped it.

"But I think there will be first your wedding then mine" Ayaan said and Abhimaan felt uncomfortable.

The 'wedding' word brings back so many memories.

"Bhai, is everything okay?" Ayaan asked seeing Abhimaan lost.

"No .. I mean yes I'm okay Ayaan. You complete your study" Abhimaan got up from the chair and Ayaan smiled at him.

"I missed you so much. Divya did more, and everyone did" Ayaan said, holding Abhimaan's right palm.

Abhimaan smiled and patted his back then lean down to kiss his forehead.

"I missed you more baby brother"

"Good night Abhi bhai"

"Good night Ayaan"

With this Abhimaan walked back to his room.

Closing the door he glanced at his old yet new decorated room.

He smiled at the colour, it was sap green and dark black, just as he liked.

Touching the wall he could feel he was finally home.

Sighing he plopped on his bed on his back.

"You're cute Rehana" he smiled remembering the incident when the spoon fall down from the clumsy girl's hand to the plate creating a sound.

At the dinner table he asked her about her name and she looked shocked and surprised.

The way she replied shyly lowering her head almost made him chuckle at her cuteness.

From Ayaan he got to know she is their guest. He didn't ask further, respecting her privacy.

But he is getting curious to know more about the girl.

But his past.

What if she moved on ?

What if she forget him?

He also didn't tried to reach her.

It's been three years.

Sighing he got up and went to his parents room.

"Mom, are you awake?" He knocked on the door of his parents bedroom.

The door opened in the next moment revealing Yuvaan was laying on the bed while Maheen was sitting on the couch and Hiya opened the door .

"You here?" Abhimaan asked

"Yes. Badi Maa was oiling my hair" Hiya showed Abhimaan her oily hairs and he smiled.

"Good night badi maa take rest" Hiya kissed Maheen's cheek before leaving the room after wishing Yuvaan and Abhimaan.

"Come Abhi come" Maheen patted the place beside her.

Abhimaan laid his head on his mother's lap.

"What happened beta? You're looking stressed?"

"What? Stress? You just came home three days ago, why are you stressing Abhi?" Yuvaan asked

"No dad. Nothing like that. I'm fine. It's just that I want to know about Rehana. I don't know what is happening with me but the girl is making me insane. I'm getting curious about her more and more."

Maheen looked at Yuvaan who's smiling ear to ear sheepishly at his son's words.

Maheen glared at Yuvaan asking him to stop this.

"It's just three days since you saw her,  Abhi."

"I know mom, I know that. And that's why I'm getting insane. How can she occupy my mind like this?"

"Do you like her?" Maheen asked, caressing his hairs.

"Maybe or maybe not. I want to talk to her. I want to spend some time with her but she always runs away from me. As if I'm some alien" Abhimaan said with a heavy sigh and Yuvaan chuckled.

"Dad please, I'm serious. Don't make fun" Abhimaan said in annoyance

"Your dad is always like that. Always turned the serious conversation into funny" Maheen shook her head

"Abhi tell me one thing. Do you remember the girl ? Three years back before you left for the US??"

"I don't remember her name or how she looked"

"Do you want to meet her?"

"Is she okay mom?"

"She is okay."

"What does she want now? I'm back also she must be in her 23 or something."

"I don't know. I've not asked her about it. She is studying."

"Great." Abhimaan smiled at his mother and got up .

"Okay you two take a rest. Good night" wishing Abhimaan left.

After Abhimaan left, closing the door, Maheen laid beside Yuvaan.

"We've to talk with Rehana about the matter Maheen"

"Hmm you're right. I'll talk with her tomorrow"

"Your son is head over heels for her" Yuvaan chuckled and Maheen smacked his arms.

"What is happening here guys?" Divya appeared inside the dining room. And hugged her big bro.

"Good morning Abhi bhai, good morning everybody" Divya wished happily and sat down beside Rehana. Who was as always quiet.

"Hey Rooh, are you coming to college?" Divya asked to cut the bread into two pieces.

"Huhh yes" Rehana looked at Divya and nodded shyly.

She was feeling his heated gaze on her continuously.

"Stop staring at her" Maheen whispered in Abhimaan's ear and he started coughing badly being caught red handed.

"Hai Allah... Abhi sit down" Maheen started patting his back and was blowing air over his head.

"Yeh lijiye"

(Take this)

Abhimaan took the glass from Her and automatically his cough gone.

"You okay bhai?" Ayaan asked

"Hmm" Abhimaan replied, looking at the girl in front of him.

"Ayaan, Suhani said something to you?" Yuvaan asked, gaining everyone's attention.

"About what Bade Papa?"

"Suhani's father invited us."

"All of sudden??" Maheen asked

"Exactly out of nowhere how can he invite us? Also Chachu and chachi are not at home"

"Ya mumma papa went to attend the dance competition with the academy children" Divya said

"Calm down Ayaan. Why are you getting hyper?" Abhimaan said, seeing him angry.

"No Abhimaan he is right. He had told Suhani that he is not ready for marriage right now. At Least not until he is getting job" Maheen said, taking Ayaan's side.

"Yes mom I understand but let's meet them na... we will decide everything later"

"Okay then it's final, we're going today in the evening.  I'll inform Harsh" Yuvaan said.

"You three come home soon Okay" Maheen said to the girls who nodded their heads excitedly.
