“Sit here.. Hmm.. Sit here for a moment, until Ayaan come” Heer sat beside Ishani, who just nodded her head and looked at her injured palms.

“You should stop seeing and thinking about him,” Maheen said to Divya as they made their ways inside the mansion. “He didn't even ask you to go back with him”

“Hmm” Divya absent mindedly nodded her head, thinking about how hurt Raunak was looking when Divya agreed to come with them back to her home.

That place was never home for her. She never felt good there except for the moments she spent talking with Trisha and playing with Roop. Raunak never asked her if she had her food timely or not. He never asked her to rejoin the office after their marriage.

“And from tomorrow you will go to the office with Abhimaan. Why wasting our own potential because of a silly insane man” She said and sighed when Divya lowered her eyes.

“Okay…  I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said those things about him. He was so helpful today. But the way he treated you on your wedding day, I can't forget that moment”

“I'm not going back to him Badi maa…  not until he realises his mistakes and asks forgiveness from you all” Saying Divya went upstairs to her room.

“Ishani” Rehana and Hiya ran towards the couch where Ishani was sitting with Heer.

“Oh my god.. What that witch did with you” Hiya gasped, looking at Ishani's state.

“Rehana, why are you still awake? Where is Abhi?” Maheen asked with concern and Rehana replied “mumma he left for office with Chachu and Chachi…  there was some problems in the factory”

“They have arrested them.” Yuvaan informed coming inside after complaining about Suhani and those men.

“Shukr Allah” Maheen prayed and kissed Ishani's hair.

“Everything is going to be okay. You're safe now” Ishani just nodded her head, still looking down.

“Mumma we should clean and treat her wounds” Rehana said to which Maheen asked Hiya to bring warm water and antiseptic lotion and cream with painkillers.

Maheen washed her face first then wiped her face with a soft towel, then focused back on her injured arms.

“Is it paining?” Maheen asked but Ishani shook her head negatively.

“Where is Ayaan?” Heer asked

“He is outside” Yuvaan informed, sighing hard, as Ayaan refused to come inside. Saying how he would look at Ishani's eyes?

“I should check on him” Aditya went outside to bring Ayaan inside.

“That girl didn't even leave her hair,” Rehana said with an angry face and Ishani's lips quivered, feeling sad.

“It's okay…  it'll grow in some days. Hiya, can you cut them evenly?”

“I won't be able to do it properly Mumma. Divya will do it.” Hiya went upstairs to call Divya.

Maheen washed her injuries and bandaged them properly after applying ointment. All the while Ishani just sat there speechless, without any movement.

“Don't you think you should be with your wife on her toughest time”

Aditya's voice brought Ayaan back to his senses. He wiped his tears and turned to look at him.

“It all happened because of me. I should be more careful when we're living there.”

“It's a result of someone's madness. You aren't at fault, neither is Ishani. You tried your best to reach her as fast as possible. But destiny has other plans. It's good that the injury was not deep”

“I am just wondering what would have happen to her if Rekha aunty didn't inform me”

“It's okay…  you should be thankful to God that our Ishani is safe. And thanks to Raunak and Divya who also went there on time” Aditya patted Ayaan's shoulder to give him comfort and the next moment Ayaan hugged him.

“I think it's my punishment for disrespecting you and mom”

Aditya smiled sadly and caressed his back. “We didn't mind at all. It was expected. We leave you two for someone else and this won't change anything neither justify our dids”

“Still I should have been patience to listen your side of story papa”

“It's okay Ayaan. But right now you need to be with Ishani” Ayaan broke the hug and shook his head negatively.

“I can't papa…  I won't be able to look at her eyes, after what happened”

“Ayaan you need to be her strength not her weakness” Aditya said cupping Ayaan's cheeks.

“Have you seen her? How much has she become silent? She becomes like the old Ishani”

“It's hard, I know. But you have to pull her from the grief.”

“Tell me if you're at my place what would you do?” Ayaan asked, wiping his nose and Aditya made him sit on the bench outside their villa, in the garden and sat beside him.

“I was in a place worse than yours, Ayaan. I've seen your mother suffering for months to come back to normal life.”

“What happened to her?”

“She was the prey of someone's obsession like Ishani. But the situation was worse than today”

“Papa” Ayaan hold Aditya's hand and he continued.

“Sharvari, Raunak's mother, used to love your grandpa but he rejected her all the time. She was underage at that time and still mad for my father. Her obsession became her madness which lead her contract mafia husband to cause us pain”

He paused remembering the worst day of his life when he heard Here's scream from the closed door and when he found her, she was laying there lifeless, covered with her own blood.

“Her husband with some other men, raped your mother years ago. She was just eighteen then. And they gave her lifelong nightmares”

“Papa” Ayaan gasped and tears fell down from his eyes, hearing about his mother.

Aditya explained everything that happened that day and after that. Why did they leave their family and went to New York with Raunak, he told Ayaan. Hearing everything, Ayaan couldn't hold himself back and hugged his father.

“I'm sorry”

“Ayaan.. It's okay”

“I won't leave that Raunak papa. I swear I'll kill him. He is ready to hurt Divya just like his family did with you all. I won't leave him”

“Ayaan. He is innocent, just fed with lies by his mama and mami. We're trying to find every proof”

“Blood speaks papa.. Didn't you see”

“No beta…  he is good by heart. He really loves Divya. It's just that he was misguiding by Adarsh and Ankita. Don't worry within some days we'll find all those proofs and also the security guard of sharvari's house”

Ayaan nodded his head and both got up.

They're standing at the doorstep of the entrance and Ayaan felt an ache in his heart, looking at Ishani. Divya was cutting down her hair properly and Rehana was feeding her.

“Go” Aditya pushed Ayaan towards them and he kneeled down in front of Ishani.

“Let her rest, guys. Ayaan go to your room” Maheen said looking at the couple, who were looking at each other with longingness.

Divya smiled and stood aside with Rehana. Ayaan picked Ishani in his arms in bridal style and left upstairs to their room.

“It's been a hectic day,” Yuvaan said, getting up.

“Everyone go back to your rooms, take some rest. And Rehana, go with Divya. Abhimaan might come late at night,”  Maheen said to them.  And then looked at Hiya “Hiya you also go with them”

The three left for Divya's room for the night and the older couples looked at each other before heading towards their own rooms.

“Is everything okay between the two of you?” Hiya asked, arranging the pillow on Divya's bed, while Rehana went to change into her night suit and Divya was looking at her phone.

“Huh??” She raised her face from her phone toward Hiya, who rolled her eyes and stood in front of her.

“You and Raunak, are you two okay?”

“Yes. Why not?” Divya said with a smile and looked back at her phone.

Rehana snatched the phone from Divya’s hold, after coming out from the washroom.

“What is this Rooh? Give me my phone back” Divya said being irritated and both Rehana and Hiya looked shockingly at her.

“What happened to you Divya? Why are you behaving like this?” Rehana asked with a tense face and Divya couldn't control herself more.

“Divya” Hiya called her name when Divya lowered her head and covered with her palms.

Hiya and Rehana hugged Divya and she hugged them back.

“He didn't ask me to stay with him, di, when Badi maa asked me to come with her back to home”

“Shhh…  it's okay Hiya. He will come back to you soon”

“Yes exactly, Raunak won't be able to stay away from you for long Divi” Rehana said with a smile but Divya cried more.

“Divya listen to me…” Hiya said cupping Divya's cheeks and made her sit on the bed.

“He needs time to clear his mind. He is going through too much right now. Just think what he must have been feeling now. He is in between a dilemma. He loves you but isn't able to accept you wholeheartedly, why? Just because his own family fed some lies to him. Let him clear his mind. It's best that you two live separately until then.” Hiya wiped Divya's cheeks, who nodded her head.

“Ayaan” Ishani called, turning towards him on the bed and he just hugged her.

“Ayaan” She called his name again but he just kept caressing her hair and back.

Getting irritated by his silence, she got up from the bed and switched on the bedside lamp.

“What are you doing, Ishani?” Ayaan asked softly and she felt more irritated.

“I'm calling you, but keep ignoring” Ishani said, looking at him as he too sat beside her.

“Okay I'm sorry. Tell me what happened?”

“Ayaan…  what are you not saying anything from the moment we came to our room”

Ayaan held her hands and she looked down, feeling her heart was heavy.

“I.. I am sorry. You want to say something?” he asked, caressing the back of her palms with his thumbs. And she shook her head.

“I want to listen to you, Ayaan. Why are you not saying anything?” She raised her tears filled eyes to him.

Ayaan pulled her close and hugged her tightly.

“I'm sorry. I should have been more careful. I'm sorry Ishani”

“It was not your fault. It's my destiny, "she said, caressing his back.

“Why are you so calm and forgiving ishu?”

“what should I do then? Fight with my own sister? I can't Ayaan. I know she doesn't love me. But I love her Ayaan. I can't do anything wrong with her. Forget about Doing, I can't even think of hurting her. I sometimes feel that maybe just like she said, I really came in between you two”

“Ishani” He broke the hug and both kept looking at each other.

“Yes Ayaan, maybe we shouldn't have met that day. You and she would have been living your life peacefully.”

“Are you out of your mind? Why are you only thinking about Suhani? Why aren't you thinking about me, Ishani? Don't you know how much I love you?” Ayaan asked feeling hurt.

“Ayaan I didn't mean it.”

“I don't want to hear what you want to mean Or not. You're not saying anything like this ever. And still if you feel you came in between me and Suhani. You can leave me, but I won't ever look at another woman, I won't be able to love anyone else rather than you. Forget about marrying another one” Saying Ayaan was going to get down from the bed when Ishani hugged his back and cried out silently.

“I'm sorry. I'm really sorry. Please, don't leave me like this”

“You should think first before saying anything like this” Ayaan said trying to get off from her hold but she clung more into him and pressed her cheeks into his back.

“I'm sorry. I really am Ayaan. Please don't leave”

Sighing hard, Ayaan turned towards her and kissed her forehead.

“I love you so much, okay. Please don't think that you came in between. We're meant to be together yaar”

Ishani smiled with tears hearing him and nodded her head.

“Ahhh” Raunak screamed and broke everything in his room.

He was getting mad, on the day when he thought about her. She didn't even ask him. She didn't even inform him. She just agreed to go back to her home.

“Raunak” Trisha and Mayank came inside Raunak's room hearing the shattering sounds and his screams.

Mayank hugged Raunak and he breathed out. “Raunak…  what happened?”

“What's all this Raunak?” Trisha asked, looking at the state of his bedroom.

“She left bhai. She left me bhabhi”

“What?” Trisha asked confusingly. And Raunak described to them everything that happened back there.

“I told you…  I told you multiple times to take care of your relationship before it's too late.”

“But it is her home bhabhi, she can't leave like this” Raunak argued and received a glare from Trisha.

“It was a building for her. Not a home Raunak. Home is what, where you can take peaceful breath, you receive love and care. She was just eating and sleeping here…  nothing else.” Trisha sat down on the bed, rubbing her forehead. She knew this was coming.

“Bhabhi” Raunak kneeled in front of her and hold her hands. “Did I cross my line?”

“You didn't even talk with her nicely during the days she spent here.”

“I am feeling ashamed” He wiped his nose and face.

“You should be,” Mayank said, shaking his head and Raunak looked down.

“I love her bhabhi. How can I live without her?”

“Then go and apologise to her,” Trisha suggested with a smile but both she and Raunak frowned the next moment when Mayank said “No need. Let him learn good from his mistakes and let her spend some days with her family” saying Mayank left and Raunak looked at his bhabhi with hopeful eyes.

“I think your brother is right.” Trisha ruffled his hair and he laid his head on her lap, feeling exhausted.

“Ayaan.. I am looking so ugly right?” Ishani asked, looking down at her stomach where there were their adjoined palms.

“Who said that?” Ayaan asked, looking at her and she took deep breaths, before showing her shoulder line length short hairs.

“You're still looking beautiful, Ishu” He kissed her cheeks and she smiled, turning towards him.

“You don't have to lie. I know I'm not looking like I used to be. My hairs are gone” A lone tear slipped down from her eyes but she still smiled looking at his eyes.

Ayaan pulled her face close and kissed her lips. Sucking the petals several times he left her face and joined their forehead.

“You are the most beautiful one to me. I don't care about the hair and all. All I care about is you. You're everything to me, Ishu. And trust me you're still looking so cute” She smiled with tears filled eyes and hugged his frame.

“I love you Ayaan”

“I love you too, Ishani. So much” Ayaan kissed her neck and tighten his hold around her.
