“Are you feeling okay?” Mayank asked, caressing Raunak's hair lovingly.

“Bhai.. I'm fine. Stop worrying now.”

“How can I stop worrying when my little brother is enduring so much pain”

“Bhai.. I'm fine. Just a little bit pain in my leg otherwise I'm okay”

“You need to be okay to keep your brother sane Raunak. Either he will go mad if something serious had happened with you” Trisha said and Raunak smiled.

“Bhabhi don't worry. Where is my champ?” He asked, not finding Roop with them.

“He is with his Rooh aunty” Trisha rolled her eyes at the mention of her son and remembered how he started jumping in Abhimaan’ arms yesterday to go with him to their villa, when he came with Divya.

“When will I be able to go home from here bhai?”

“After two days if everything is fine”

“Two more days? Shit…” Raunak murmured annoyingly and Divya chuckled slowly.

Two more days have passed and everyone came for Raunak's discharge.

Trisha and Divya arranged his every belongings, while the nurse took Raunak to the doctor's cabin to check his vital and everything for the last time. Mayank had gone to fill up the discharge form and pay the fees. And Aditya and Heer were sitting on the couch of his cabin.

“Mumma papa you're here?” Divya asked, finding Samaira and Dev coming inside.

“Yes.. To bring Raunak home” Samaira said and everyone turned towards her as if she was a ghost.

“Why are you all giving us eyes? We came here to bring our son-in-law to our home” Dev said, scrunching his nose.

“But aunty, it's not needed. I'll be there with Raunak, also Mayank has appointed a nurse for him” Trisha reasoned and Divya felt bad as she won't be able to stay with him.

“But right now he needs a family's love. He should come with us, Trisha beta. We all will be there for him. He won't feel alone for a minute there. Also Yuv bhaiya and Mahi bhabi would be there to check him whenever needed” Samaira said and Trisha looked unsure about what Mayank's reaction would be. “But”

“Don't worry we've talked with Mayank. He agreed” Samaira ensured her with a smile and Trisha's eyes grew wide.

“He agreed?”

“Yes.. At first he was denying but when Adi bhai made him understand he agreed eventually” Dev said looking at Aditya who smiled in return and got up from the couch followed by Heer.

“You should also come with us,” Divya said, holding Trisha’s hand. Trisha smiled and shook her head negatively. “I would love to spend time with you all. But Roop won't be studying there properly, you know na after two weeks is his exam.”

Divya nodded her head, understanding Trisha's point of view. “But we will visit everyday for sure”

It's been a month Raunak has been staying with the Suryavanshi's. He was reading some newspaper sitting inside the room's balcony when there was a knock on the door and he looked over his shoulder to find his three father-in-laws standing there.

“You all?” He asked gulping his saliva, seeing three and they nodded their heads before sitting down on the couch and Raunak sat on the bed, coming inside the room from the balcony.

“What happened, Diti?” Raunak asked, confusingly looking at the three men.

“Here is every proof” Aditya handed a big fat file to Raunak. Who first stared at them surprisingly, then took the file.

“I don't want any more proof. I've lost Divya once for my foolishness. I don't want to cause her any more pain or don't want to lose her” He said, handing back the file to them again. But Aditya shook his hand and pushed the file towards Raunak.

“You should learn the truth, Ron. It's your right”

“exactly. You should learn about your family's dirty politics” Dev sighed hard, completing his sentence and Raunak looked down at the file on his hand.

“Read them. It has every detail from the beginning of this fight.” Yuvaan got up followed by his brothers and left the room.

Raunak stared at the file for some minutes before opening it.

The first page was about Suryavanshi Enterprise’s initial days' photos. He could spot his mother inside a glass cabin. At one he could see his mother was shouting at a man and then on another she was grabbing the same man's collar. There was a pendrive and a piece of paper written ‘The First Fight’. His hands were shaking when he picked the pendrive and connected it with his laptop. He saw his mother enter the office furiously. His mother was indeed a beautiful woman in her younger days. Long black curly hairs, a mole near her lips, and the dimple on her right cheek was the same as Raunak.

“Mom” He whispered and caressed the pause face of his mother. He resumed the video and listened to everything carefully.

His hands were fisted and he was feeling so upset at how his mother was begging to love her to the man named Akhil Raj Suryavanshi.

His eyes became bloodshot red and he was going to shut down the laptop when he heard footsteps from the door. He turned and found an old woman standing at the doorstep with a stick on her hand.

“Won't you ask me to come inside?” she asked and Raunak got up to welcome her. He held her arm carefully and took her inside the room then made her seat on the bed.

“You must be wondering who I am ?”

“Hmm”

“I'm Divya's Dadi. The mother of Yuvaan, Aditya and Dev”

“Ohh” Raunak turned slightly red as the old woman kissed his forehead lovingly.

“You are Sharvari's son?” Dadi asked and Raunak nodded his head positively.

“You're watching the clips that Yuvaan gave you?”

He again just nodded his head and Dadi gestured to him to sit down beside her. But Raunak sat near her legs and she smiled, caressing his hair.

“But i can explain you everything better”

“How?”

“Because I am the biggest witness of every misery” She smiled sadly and Raunak swallowed the hurt.

“Sharvari Rajvansh, she was a very beautiful woman. She used to love Aditya's father, Aditya is my sister’s son. I mean my sister Suhana and  Anand’s brother Akhilraj’s son. But when they got murdered we adopted Aditya. My brother-in-law Akhilraj first  rejected her and insulted her infront of everyone she asked my husband Anand to marry her. She was obsessed with both. But both the brothers refused to marry her. Even AkhilRaj jee blamed her for ruining his married life by washing Aditya’s mother's brain. He slapped her in front of everyone in his office when she tried a different method to get him. And that's hurt her ego. She married a dangerous mafia man to take revenge from us. Their main target was I, because Anand had taken legal action against her and her husband. And the result was I became the rape victim. But Anand didn't leave my hand after the tragedy. He pampered me to get over the trauma. I was even scared to go close to him. Sharvari's husband was inside jail in police custody for a lifetime but he got bail in ten years  illegally and after coming out he became more dangerous. He was underground for two years. When he comes back the result is my sister's life, he raped my sister with his mens and then killed both Suhana and AkhilRaj.”

Raunak had tears in his eyes. Avantika's lips trembled, remembering the old painful days of their life.

“But they didn't stop there. Few years later they again raped Heer, that time she was just nineteen and was in live with Aditya madly. Just because your mother hated us, she couldn't see Aditya's happiness and asked her husband and some of his most trusted men to destroy Heer's life. We overcame everything within a few years but they didn't move on. They kept ruining our peace moment by moment. They poisoned Maheen in her anniversary party, they again tried to molest Heer, even they tried to kill Samaira and Dev. Your mama Samar, he was such a devil man. He at first acted as Samaira's boyfriend and lured her then tried to kill her when Samaira got married with Dev. Dev was in coma for the whole six to seven months. We're broken. This is the reason why our family doesn't like them. It's true Dev killed Samar. But the damage he caused to us was unbearable beta. My sons never raised their hands to innocents. And about your mother's death. There was a recording of the security guard who was appointed that time in your mother's house. You should listen to what he said.”

Raunak hurriedly started the last clip; there was an audio recording and a video recording.

“I'm sorry. I never spoke right when it's needed. But right now I want to confess everything. I'm the guard who's appointed at that time in Sharvari Rajvansh's house. Ankita and Adarsh were such a devil in human disguise. Sharvari madam was good to them all the while but they stabbed her on her back. They leaked the gas. And I'm telling the truth, trust me. They knew that Sharvari madam was claustrophobic, that's why they leaked the gas to kill her. I've heard their plan two days ago from the incidents and that is why they threatened me to not say anything to anyone. That time I recorded their plan on my mobile, and the video is still here, you can see it. But please don't punish me”

His breathing became uneven and tears rolled down from his eyes continuously. He couldn't breathe more. He doesn't want to see anything or hear anything now. He needed some peace to clear his mind. Raunak tried to get up but his legs trembled and he was going to fell down when Divya held him from behind and looked at him.

“Are you okay?” she asked when Raunak turned towards her and engulfed her in his embrace.

“Divya” He breathed out and Divya started rubbing his back.

“Shh.. Why are you crying Ron? Is everything okay?” She asked confusingly and she didn't know about anything that happened. She was out with Rehana, for her checkup. As Abhimaan couldn't manage to come.

“My life.. Is my existence all a lie Divya?” He broke the hug and murmured.

Dadi got up and patted his back. “You two should talk. I'm leaving. Divya take care of him” Divya nodded at her dadi as she left the room.

“Tell me Raunak what happened?”

Later Raunak explained everything that he heard a moment ago and seen. Tears rolled down from Divya's eyes hearing how much pain her family has gone through all those years. But right now she has to be strong for Raunak.

“Raunak. Be strong. You've me, you've Mayank bhai, Trisha bhabhi, Roop. You've all of us.” She palmed his cheeks and blinked his eyes. “Your family will never accept me wholeheartedly”

“They've accepted you Ron. Why are you so worried? We are all with you” She kissed his forehead and pulled him close to her chest.

“I want to sleep Divi” He whispered and Divya made him lie down then settled  beside him on the bed . She kept caressing his hair, and he held her other hand tightly, so that she wouldn't leave him. He closed his eyes and Divya kissed them.

“I love you Raunak” She too slept after a moment.
