Chapter 27: Chapter Twenty Six

GUN'S POV

The New York trip was a blast. I definitely enjoyed it a lot. We got back last night and it was fun to actually be back home. I took out everything I bought for my family especially for Pim.

"P'Gun is this mine?" Pim said as she raised the small paperbag from gucci.

"No, that is for mom, the other one is for you" I said pulling out a bigger paper bag for her.

She was very excited, I loved spoiling Pim. I don't want her sad or down, because I know how terrible it is to feel that way that is why I always try to find a way to make her happy.

"Pim, I got something from New York..." I started, trying to subtly tell her that Off is my boyfriend now.

"What is it?" She asked.

"I... I got a boyfriend" I said in which she immediately looked at me, trying to see if I was being serious.

"OMG P'GUN!!!! WHO?!" She said in excitement and already put her stuff down.

"Off... I like him for a while now and... he likes me as well, it has been a while that we both like each other-----" she cut me off before I could even finish

"AND YOU DIDN'T EVEN TELL ME?!" She yelled in excitement

"I was trying to figure it out but then he asked me to be his boyfriend while we were in New York. I thought about it for a while, it was sort of impulsive, but I chose what makes me happy and decided to let go of the doubts and fear" I said and scratched my head.

"P'Gun, It's a brave thing to follow our hearts. I'm happy for you" Pim said ang hugged me.

"Thank you Pim" I said and hugged her back.

"Though, P'Off is protective, when I worked with him on a short video for the industry he was always reminding me of the short skirt and how I moved" She said which made me smile, he takes care of Pim too. I really am lucky.

A couple of days passed by and I spent most of my time catching up with my business and the studio, I also spent one day with my parents and Pim, they insisted us to stay at their penthouse unit and we bonded a little and slept there.

Tomorrow is the official start of the short film we're doing with the industry, thanks to Off who brought them during the opening and decided to partner their short film with us for promotion as well.

"Did you know that Chimon will be the lead of this project?" New asked me when I sat on the meeting room.

"He is?!" I asked because I got and studied the script earlier but I never knew the actors until now.

"Yeah, apparently, it'll be a part of the rising bl industry, he is partnered with this Nanon kid." New answered again.

"I didn't even know he took a bl job" I said reading through the list of cast.

"Well, they all grow up too fast" Tay said.

"What? You speak like you have a kid" Off told him which made us all laugh.

We went through every detail that has to be gone through for the short film. Me and Off will be the head and directors of this project and Tay and New will only be visiting sometimes, they also have smaller projects to do.

"Gun, will you be a model for my clothing line?" Off suddenly asked out of the blue.

"Why me?" I asked.

"Because you are my boyfriend and you actually know how to wear and match clothes, it will look good on you" he said

"I'll think about it" I said and smiled.

"Do you wanna have dinner with grandma? I'll tell her you're my boyfriend already, plus formally tell Pim, even though I already told her the other day." I said to him.

"Sure, when?" He said and smiled.

"Tonight?" I asked.

"Yeah sure" He agreed.

I quickly took my phone out and immediately messaged Pim.

Pim

Pim, order some food.

Tell grandma I'm bringing Off over.

P'Gun, Mom and Dad are here as well.

Oh... Okay...

I'm still bringing him.

Introducing him to my parents wasn't part of the plan, I planned a later date for that, I'm not sure Dad will be very happy about it, I remembered the last time I introduced Oab to them...

"Hey, you okay? I was asking you something..." Tay asked me.

"I'm gonna introduce Off to my family" I said and sighed.

"It's gonna be alright, you managed to fight for Oab back then, you can manage to fight for Off this time." He told me.

I smiled a little with what he said, he just really knows what to tell me every damn time.

"Off... can we talk?" I said signaling for us to go out of the meeting room.

"What's wrong?" He worriedly asked when we got out.

"I didn't know but mom and dad will also be at home for dinner" I sighed.

It took quite a while before he answered me, I waited patiently for his response though...

"That's fine with me" He said and smiled.

"Are you sure?" I asked making sure he means what he said.

"Of course. It's fine smol bean" He said and teased me which made me feel less worried.

We had lunch at the office and also finished preparing everything we're gonna need for tomorrow and I was also constantly checking on Pim if everything is going well at home. I wanted to make sure that food will be enough and complete for everybody.

When we were on the way to my house, Off was following me because we both brought our cars to work. I was silently praying for things to go in a nice way though, I just couldn't shrug the thought of what happened in the past.

We got to my house earlier than the supposed dinner time. It was intense that they were all seating in the living room when we got inside...

"Hey, uhh... everybody this is Off" I said and introduced him.

"That's mom and dad" I introduced them to Off.

He paid his respects and they invited him to watch the movie with them, grandma likes Off so much that is why grandma asked him to sit in between her and Pim.

When it was time for dinner, we all gathered at the dining table. I got a little more anxious and I was fidgeting with my phone. I know Off noticed when he held my elbow and rubbed it a little, I looked over at him and he was smiling at me assuring me that everything will be alright.

"So, you stopped acting already Off?" Mom asked Off while we were eating.

"Uhhmmm, I actually took a break... I'm still thinking about going back or taking small projects before finally letting go of it" Off answered and smiled.

"Oh, don't go yet, you we're so good" Grandma said and we all giggled. She's a big fan.

"I will try..." Off shyly said.

"He has a studio and clothing line to run" I told them.

"Wow, that's impressive, having multiple sources of income" Dad said which made me smile. That seemed to be a good point for Off.

We continued talking about life and they were pretty much telling him a lot about me when I was little and as I was growing up. When it was time for dessert, I figured it's time to tell them that Off is my boyfriend.

I was nervous so I held his hand under the table and squeezed it. He looked over to me and he gave me an assuring smile and gently brushed his thumb on my knuckles.

"There's something I-I wanna tell you..." I said slightly stuttering as I grip Off's hand tighter.

"What is it Gun?" Mom asked and smiled.

"O-Off's... my boyfriend" I said taking a pause before saying it.

It was quiet for a few minutes and I decided to look up and all I see were smiles on their faces.

"Congratulations to the both of you then, I hope you both grow together" Mom said and I smiled.

I looked over to Dad and saw him smiling as well. Does that mean he accepts Off?

"Dad, P'Gun is waiting for you tell something" Pim said, obviously she got impatient waiting for Dad's reaction

"I got nothing against it Pim, I've already burdened your brother so much before, I just wanna see him happy now, as long as he is happy and Off wouldn't hurt him, it's alright with me." Dad said and smiled.

After dinner, I was at the lawn with Off, I hugged him as we tried looking for stars.

"See smol bean, there's nothing to worry about." he said as he was hugging me.

"Fear just got the best of me Papii" I said and pouted.

"Don't pout like that, I'll kiss you" He said and I giggled.

We decided our nicknames for each other when we got bored on our flight back to Bangkok, I stuck with Papii as a joke for the sugar daddy but it suits him so I call him that and he calls me smol bean because I often wear oversized clothes and baggy ones that makes me look like a smol bean he said.

We kept talking about the sweet nothings until my parents headed out and said goodbye. They came here to talk to my grandma about the house renovation. Grandma has been looking forward to that one since there are a few damages to the house already. I also gave my gifts for my parents and they even said they wanted to go on a family vacation to New York as well.

"Why don't you just stay over?" I asked and smiled to Off.

"Yeah sure" He immediately agreed.

"Really?" I asked like a kid excited for candy.

"Haha just kidding smol bean, I don't have clothes and I have to get stuff I need for tomorrow, maybe next time?" he said.

It's the first day of filming and they already had their table read last week with New. I arrived at the studio early but then to my surprise, Off was earlier. He messaged me that he has food with him and I told him I got the drinks. I also got some for Tay and New who will be working on some paper works for their coming projects as well.

"You ready Director Gun?" Off asked me which made me smile the brightest.

"Of course, I missed this so much" I said.

We had our breakfast and run through with all the scenes we're filming today. I wanted to make sure everything was gonna go well so me and Off took turns with checking on the crew and soon enough, our cast also started to arrive in according to their call time.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked Chimon when he was getting ready.

"Surprise! Haha" He said.

"I love the growth, you took a bl role, very out of your comfort zone." I praised him.

"I won't grow inside my comfort zone phi" He told me.

"This is Nanon, by the way. He's so cool" Chimon said pulling the other kid.

"Hey Nanon, nice to meet you" I said as I smiled and offered my hand.

"Hi Director Atthaphan" he politely said

"Oh, just call me P'Gun, you're technically my cousin's friend" I said and smiled.

The three of us talked for while and we actually get along pretty well. Nanon is just like Chimon, the playful type of kid but they know what they want in life and they are actually serious about their works.

"Chimon? Does Dae know about this?" I asked when Nanon was called for wardrobe.

"Yeah, we sort of aren't in good terms because of it." He said and looked away.

"Oh... Tell me if you need help." I said and patted his shoulder.

"Whatever this heads to, I'll be fine, but I'll appreciate a fun night" Chimon said and smiled. He meant he wanted to party and drink.

Well, good luck with me on the drinking part, Off has been really strict about it, he was too scared I'd permanently damage my liver. It's okay though, I just miss drinking sometimes.
